Nice food.... enjoyed the crispy duck with noodles.... Edit: 1 month later I have received a parking ticket for £100 for parking on the site for green heath school which this takeaway is part of as it serves out the canteen... not worth the hassle regardless of the food... no1 mentioned on site regarding parking there as there was only few parking spaces as it us and besides that it's hard to find parking on the road... because of that I have to change the overall review I gave from 5 to 2

I've travelled extensively around Thailand and South East Asia and im familiar with authentic Thai cuisine. The food here is outstanding. Highly recommend.

The food was absolutely beautiful. To top it off I heard some of the staff praying Esha behind a closed door - even if the food was poor (which it certainly wasn't) I would have given them 5 stars for that alone. May Allah bless you all

My children had the duck chow mein noodles each to their own accord heat levels and flavour they absolutely loved it!!!! One happy mother when children enjoy their food. My mother enjoyed her prawn egg fried rice and I had a beef with rice we also had sweet chilli portions of fries and garlic & herb fries sides was also amazing! Was not disappointed at all. Allhamdullilah

Having read so many 5* reviews, I was compelled to try Green Wok. Sadly I was left a little disappointed. The duck was burnt, there was very little vegetables in the noodles. There was too much oil in the noodles. It was not a compete disaster and the noodles did have reasonably good taste. I can only imagine that people giving 5* may not have experience authentic Thai food to compare with. However I will give this place one more chance to redeem itself.

Food was delicious, fresh and piping hot. Would defo recommend the food and would come come back. However due to it being a start up and fairly new, the setting reminds me of a school canteen. Overall, staff and service are good👍🏽

Food here was great. I would highly recommend. It’s quite hard to find places that do halal duck. Tried the duck fried rice and beef noodles. Decent sized portion and great service. It’s a hidden gem. Not many places in Birmingham serving halal Thai food. Price is reasonable and menu is a good size. It would be nice to see them bring in some more authentic Thai dishes. Its a nice change from all the burger joints in small heath!

Ordered on uber eats but unfortunately the packaging of the soup collapsed in on itself. It did smell lovely although wasn't able to try. Will come into store next time as it is quite liquidy food prone to getting damaged in transit! Have recommended to so many people based on the black bean stirfry alone it was very heart warming!

Very tasty dishes. Cooked fresh but this can mean a bit of a wait for food as it's very busy with delivery orders aswell. Location is hidden but easy to find if you watch their video guide on Instagram. Interior is not a fancy restaurant of any sort..think food hall. But I would eat here again! On site parking!

It was first time order as i seen their videos on tiktok and decided to give it a try. Very tasty and fresh food Red Thai curry was just wow, stirfried noodles with duck was gorgeous. Overall food and service is excellent. Definitely ordering again.

I tried the egg fried rice with crispy chicken, Thai red curry with crispy chicken, and the prawn tom kha soup. Everything was delicious so would recommend for sure. Has a lot of great reviews for a reason.

I’ve always loved and appreciated East Asian food but there are not many halal options beyond Chinese. We recently ordered from Green Wok and everything we tried was delicious. Prawns, chicken, rice; everything was cooked to the highest standard with authentic Thai flavours. It was a pleasure to try some new dishes and flavours which we had never tried before. Unfortunately, the food was so good that we finished it before we could take a picture.

I spent 10 years living throughout Asia. Including China, Thailand, Taiwan and I honestly can't remember the food being as good as the food at Green Wok. Asian food does not get better than this... The menu is superb, it has a great Tom Yum soup, Thai Red curry as well as Chinese stir fry and Indonesian / Malaysian satay. It's a true pan Asian experience and the service was fantastic.

Fantastic food, amazing flavours, each dish had is own unique flavour. Curry flavour with coconut rice, super refreshing flavour with vegetables perfectly cooked. We also had the beef with fried noodles, again beautiful flavour we also had the mouth water prawn soup, this had alot of flavour and super warming to have had today. We also had the spring rolls which were nice too. Service was spot on food arrived hot from the kitchen. You can see them cook your food.

Amazing food, lovely presentation and healthy amounts. The food is very well balanced in taste, allowing you to taste different ingredients in the dishes. Nothing overwhelms the other. The fried noodles with crispy chicken was perfect with the chicken being crispy on the outside but moist and juicy on the inside. The beef red Thai curry was also perfectly cooked and nicely presented with the right amount of curry sauce and not too strong, however the taste built up in your mouth the more you ate it. Overall, I can't fault it and very much enjoyed the food and service. Hats off to the chef.

Hubbs ordered takeout from here. I had the prawn noodles. Great portion, lots of large king prawns, food tasted really fresh and had that great wok seared flavour. Crispy, crunchy, not soggy like other places sometimes do! My only negative is that I asked for my flavours to be extra hot, and it seems like they just added a ton of chilli flakes on top. Unfortunately that didn't really do anything to make it more hot, it would have been much more effective to stir fry it into the sauce or add a separate hot chilli oil base. Would recommend!

Great halal Thai food! If you love your oriental food, this is the place to go! The guys are super friendly and always willing to adjust the spice of the food - I love my spicy food! Egg fried rice and the Tom Kha soup are my personal favourites! A must try!

Green wok. By far one of my favourite places to eat, the brothers inside really go out of their way to make sure the food is made to the customers satisfaction. I'd say my two favourite dishes even though all the food is immaculate, but my two favourite dishes are the green wok special curry with rice. the NOODLES with the crispy chicken is by farrr one of the most enjoyable noodles I've had, atleast in Birmingham. I used to eat at oodles noodles but since green wok opened I've been forced to switch sides.

This place is absolutely brilliant excellent food excellent service i have ordered from 3 times now and they have always exceeded the expectation each time, i was never into Thai food but after tasting the food from here I am a fan.

Die Location ist etwas versteckt, aber wenn man erstmal da ist und dann das Essen vor seiner Nase sieht, dann findet ein Geschmacksfeuerwerk vom Feinsten statt. Ich persönlich mag es nicht so etwas besonders leckeres mit Plastikbesteck zu essen! Wäre super, wenn man etwas auch auf die Umwelt achten würde :)

I ate the red Thai curry with crispy chicken and wow I have to admit that this was one of the best curry dishes i ever had, not gonna lie i will come back and try the others because this Thai restaurant is something else. The food has such a good combined flavor which impressed me very much. The chicken wasn’t dry and the curry sauce was very delicious and with good spices. But the highlight for me was the peanutsauce which was so delicious with the chicken that I only can suggest you to take it also in your order. Last but not at least I can only recommend you this Thai restaurant over others because this food here is very special and has good taste

I was very often in Thai restaurants but this one amazed me because of its taste which is unique. The food there is something else and you can’t get it anywhere, it’s kind of love mixed up with spices which lead to a perfect combination for the guests. Food was absolutely delicious. It was freshly prepared. I had the rice with chicken and sate sauce, I would have loved a bit of veggies with it but even without the taste was great. Staff was friendly and there were a few chairs and tables to eat in if you prefer. Could make some improvement with serving the food on plates instead of trays and using normal cutlery instead of plastic. Definitly worth a visit.

The food is just amazing, would go again to have some authentic Chinese food.

Today was my fifth time at Green Wok with my family and again not disappointed. This time we ordered the fried noodles and fried rice with chicken. All-round perfectly coordinated dish and a good portion that fills you up. What shouldn't be missing during our visit are the delicious peanut satays, my kids love them. This time instead of rice with fries. Always a warm welcome from the staff and a excellent service throughout the meal. Overall, my experience at Green Wok was nothing short of fantastic. The satay, stir-fried noodles, and rice were all incredibly tasty, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality and flavor. If you're in the mood for some delicious Asian cuisine, I highly recommend giving Green Wok a try.

I never give ratings but I can’t lie this deserves a rating. First of all the owner knows how to treat a customer properly his service and hospitality is a 10/10. The food is banging, you can taste the love he is cooking it with, in every meal. The meat is always succulent and beautifully cooked. It has a healthy taste and I feel energised after eating, not like other restaurants where I just want to lay down after food. The quality speaks for itself. And it is halal and very hygienic. Wish there would be more places like this one.
