This is a fantastic place, the staff were welcoming friendly and polite, the service was very good and the cake 🎂 was 😋😋😋.

This is the best vegan restaurant in Bedford. Very quiet and clam atmosphere. Warm welcoming vibes. Great staff and she served with a smile. Very friendly and helpful. It has the variety of food and beverage choices. The location is very central. Defo coming back again and recommend.

Excellent service and hospitality from the lady the counter with great cappuccino and cakes served. The cafe is very close to the river and perfect for a weekend visit after a stroll or a shopping run. Great spot in Bedford offering vegan produce.

Very hippie café with lovely decor. The light DnB music is my favourite aspect, not found in any other cafe, it really makes the difference. The barista was quite courteous and gently explained that non-vegan food is not allowed, which is completely fair. As for the coffee, I purchased a doppio espresso. Its a medium roast by the taste of it with a lot of subtle notes, quite acidic with a lot of floral notes and natural sweetness, very little bitterness. Its a more expensive double espresso at £2.85 but the portion size is generous without being watery. The crema is also nice without being artificially fluffy. The service speed was really good and the barista offered to deliver the coffee to my table, but i chose to wait at the counter (i didnt wait long). Seating was widely available with warm and cosy lighting and soft sofas.

Came in for some coffee and cake. Cake was delicious, even though it was near the end of the day. The coffee however needed dialling in.

What a lovely place, came on a recommendation. First things first.... I'll happily eat meat, but it's actually great to see a fully vegan restaurant. I opted for the Big breakfast. The sausages were really tasty and the tofu scramble was great and the sourdough toast was lovely and crisp (in the right way, not burnt) really would recommend it Whilst we didn't indulge in any cakes, they all looked delicious. The staff were polite and attentive, serving quickly. My real suggestion for this cafe is "try it, you won't be disappointed". If you're going anywhere as a group, and you've got vegans or veggies in the group, this makes chosing good food so easy. (And even the meat eaters won't be disappointed) There's also art work adorning the walls that is for sale and a beautiful selection of gifts, including some glass work.

Been numerous times and it's sooo good! As an omnivore I don't feel like I miss meat when eating here and it's such good value for money.

I come here quite often but only seem to have one photo of the food! This is by far the best vegan restaurant we have in Bedford. It has a myriad of food and beverage choices (I've loved the plantain waffles, the jackfruit burger, the quesadilla, the BLT (no real bacon) and their cakes), the atmosphere is very chill, the staff are incredibly kind and friendly and the location is very central. They are also a driving force behind the Green Village during Bedford's River Festival (the best area IMO), as well as other green events in the town and at their premises (soul nights, variety shows, etc.). They're a huge part of what makes Bedford special. Thank you and see you again soon,

My husband and I went in for a quick bite. We told the lady serving we were in a hurry and asked her to check how long food would take. She assured us it would be 15-20 mins max. The drinks took 15 minutes and then half the food took 30 minutes and I was served food I was allergic to. I asked about the bread which I had specifically mentioned many times I am very allergic to and the lady serving she would ask a manager if it is gluten free! After serving it to me!! Even though she made the food. My husband food didn't even come!!! 35 minutes later! We just left and when asked for a refund the lady's didn't know how to do it and gave me some cash. All in a horrible experience.

Didn't do normal milk but the lady was very helpful with telling me and my two friends what milk to try in our coffee

My mum and I popped in last week for the first time and it was a lovely pit stop while Christmas shopping...🎄🎁 Brilliant service and friendly staff. Really tasty food and great coffee too...🍰☕️ I have quite a few allergies and the staff were very knowledgeable about the menu and helped me choose something that I could eat without me worrying about allergens etc. Everything is vegan too which is a massive bonus for me. The homemade arts and crafts for sale are beautiful too. We had a lovely time browsing while waiting for our food and drinks. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you...😍❤️

This establishment only serves Vegan food which is very tasty and fresh, only thing to note is food is a little slow coming out.. yes I do understand that it's cooked fresh to order.

Great for groups and solo trips, alike. Last time I had their scramble on toast, this time the banana waffles, and I was impressed! Love the loose-leaf teas here. Came with a group of 9 this time, and they were happy for us to move tables around for us all. Staff are really friendly and welcoming. So happy to find another great vegan place!

Had a lovely lunch here with my son and husband a few weeks back. Staff are friendly and food was phenomenal, we're a vegan family so it is so great to have a place that caters for us in town.

As a native Italian, I do sometimes have a hard time finding good food, but here I finally found a nice place :) Really kind staff too and the place is not too noisy. I just loved the place, I ate there a few times during my last stay in Bedford. The food was delicious although the tomato soup was a bit too "raw" to my taste. Cakes are very good and so is the quality of coffee served in this establishment. Thanks James for introducing me to Green Earth Cafe!

Had a lovely meal here, great coffee too. Tried the jerk mushroom waffle with avocado, it really was delicious. The mushrooms were very good, tasty! Good food and friendly staff, a bit expensive

I’m a fairly harsh food critic, rarely visiting places more than once because I’m usually left feeling I could do just as good at home - but I got the shawarma mushroom and tempeh wrap last week and it was an absolute triumph :)! Truly delicious, seasoned so well and the mushrooms were cooked perfectly. Moist and flavoursome. Would love to come back! I don’t often give out a 10/10 but I really really enjoyed my meal. Compliments to the chef on that! I just had to write a review. Approachable staff and the gifts dotted around looked lovely too, perfect for a quick gift. A cosy and spacious place to stop by with a pal.

Best coffee in town. I always come here for my oat mocha and everytime it’s absolutely delicious and hot! Silo’s cooking is exceptional everytime. We always indulge in the menu, it’s so delicious! This is always going to be our favourite cafe to visit.

As a meat eater, this place is amazing! The food is so satisfying and delicious, you're not left missing meat at all. If all meat free food was like this, I would change in a heartbeat.

Hi Guys, I had free time and I just wanted to drink a good strong coffee somewhere in Bedford. When I walked on the street I found a pretty nice Café Shop - Green Earth Café. I ordered a coffee with oat milk and Soup of the Day what the Potato Soup was. Everything was gorgeous! 👍🏻 I’ve eaten same potato soup long time ago when I was very young and my Grandma made it. Everything is super healthy and nice. There is nice staff! If You are in Bedford, You have to pop in! 🃏

We often eat lunch here. The food is consistently delicious. I am not a vegetarian but this is a vegan or plant based restaurant that proves that meatless dishes can be very tasty. Unfortunately I don't like any of the non-dairy milk substitutes so, if I want coffee I have to drink it black. There are plenty of other drink options.

Green Earth Café offers an experience that is unique in Bedford. The vegan menu lists delicious food, reasonably priced and a cosy venue for morning coffee.

This is a cute vegan cafe in Bedford town. It has a nice low light and wood aesthetic with bits of art/crystals/cards etc for the public to buy. Staff were friendly and attentive. Great selection of vegan cakes and lots of places to sit, both inside and out. Unfortunately I'm having to give it a 3/5 for a couple of reasons. I found it to be quite overpriced and then disappointing for what you paid for. I got the houmous and veggie wrap and a slice of carrot cake (£8.95 & £3.25). However I was shocked at how thin the slice of carrot cake I was given (even though it was about £3.25!). Unfortunately it also didn't taste good which just made it worse (deffo needs more spices). The houmous and roast veggie wrap was packed well however I found it to be quite saturated with oil and lacking in flavour. Would of been nice for the veggies to be seasoned and the houmous to be more flavourful too. It's a shame - I really wanted to like it here, this type of place is right up my alley.

The chai latte is 👌🏻 really tasty, and it's lovely coffee. I had the big breakfast which was a good size and really good. Make sure to get a cake - there's a good selection and they're really nice. It's nicely decorated, and there are plenty of tables. However, try and sit on the stools at the front! The sunlight coming in through the plants looks so pretty.

I enjoyed a vegan big breakfast but it was big in price and name only which is why I have deducted a star. The other star has been deduct for the very small, although ornate coffee I received which was still tasty. However, that first cup of coffee in the morning should never mimic a double espresso. The service was good but I felt it could have been more friendly. Maybe a "Thank you for your custom" when we left would have been nice. The atmosphere was very relaxed and everyone seemed happy. Overall our dining experience was not unpleasant but I did feel breakfast was overpriced and on the small side.

This cafe is a hidden gem in the heart of Bedford, a fantastic location to grab a tea coffee or bite to eat, either alone or with friends... Surrounding by fantastic items, crafts, and art that have been made by locals (which you can buy!) Staff are super friendly and really care about your experience.

Really nice place indeed: I also appreciate the variety of local handmade art inside. the only withdray is that it is never open: what is the point of a delicious vegan coffee if I need to sacrifice a lamb to a local druid to see if the place will be open?

Wonderful vegan café! The food was so good, with lots of great options. I had a big breakfast, which had everything you'd want, from great tasting scrambled tofu, to scrumptious vegan sausages. I also had a a chocolate brownie (to die for) and a coconut latte, a favourite of mine, they didn't disappoint. The atmosphere is great, helped by the energetic and polite staff. A must for vegans, and anyone who likes food and coffee really!

First time in this vegan cafe. In town centre, spacious and nicely decorated, pleasent and helpful staf. You can also buy things made by local artists there. There was a menu but I had small appetite and ordered from the board- spicy swert potato soup- delicious. Quite busy-Sunday lunchtime. Will return again to try other dishes.

A charming little cafe with creative and delicious food - I had the tofu scramble (with all the add ons) and it was the perfect hangover cure. The aubergine & tofu noodles that my friends ordered were also excellent. The coffee was great and it's a cute, comfy and relaxed setting with lovely service. Highly recommend.

They've got some beautiful vegan cakes! I've tried biscoff and hot chocolate and both were great. The shop/restaurant has an amazing atmosphere and the ladies by the counter were so lovely. Looking forward trying some of their menu items, all plant based goodness.

Delighted to find this lovely little coffee and brunch spot - great food, coffee, and atmosphere overlooking St Paul's church. The vegan breakfast was so delicious and satisfying, particularly the scrambled tofu on sourdough. I think the flat white, with oak milk, I had here has to be the best coffee I've had yet in Bedford. Highly recommended.
