Greek Souvlaki Kostas in Tameside

Ordered quite a lot of food, didnt realise till unpacking quite a few items missing, phoned and they apologised and said they would bring missing items. Phoned back an hour later to be told not delivering, explained people had gone without food, to which he replied "i dont give a ++++" Half an hour later, banging on the door, literally through our money back at us. The food we did get was average, the service is just the lowest it can be

Went in for the first time in about 6 months, as we used to eat here a lot before lockdown happened. Ordered 3 chicken gyros and did not realise that they had been taken over but my husband said that when he was being served it looked like they were doing it in a different way. I thought hmmm, different good or different bad? But by now we had committed and I kept and open mind. Upon arriving home, we opened up the takeaway boxes and it was pretty obvious that it was different bad! The previous home cooked chips, that you used to get, were now the really soggy but hard, frozen ones like you’d get 1kg of for 99p in Farm Foods or another low quality brand like that. The chicken was now in massive, chewy chargrilled chunks and nothing like what had been served before. Again cheap crap. The salad was good and I didn’t think the bread was too bad, but that was it. Really disappointed so rang the restaurant and asked why it was different and they said they were using the same recipe?! In all, no one ate it and it was a waste of £15. Might as well have just chucked £15 down a drain grid. Might be ok 9 pints in, when you stagger out of Judges but not when you fancy nice, tasty greed food and you’re starving Won’t be back and I don’t expect it will be open that long. It’s a shame as the one before was really good and tasty.

As stated in the title the food is nice. I ordered the chicken sandwich meal. But it isn't authentic greek anymore, it turkish from a few thing's I noticed. Shawarma was on the menu which is middle eastern but also in turkey as well as the tzatziki being replaced with mint and cucumber yogurt. Needs to change the name of the store. No gyros unfortunately here people. Miss the old owner

We’ve ordered from here a few times recently and have not been disappointed! It’s always delivered before the time quoted, the food is fresh and a really high quality and the portion size is perfect! Highly recommended! Thanks
