Great selection of quality beers and large rs and they make their own fantastic Pork Pies..... since my most recent visit to the Greedy Pig an awesome thing has happened to me ....my bald patch has completely grown back.....a truly fantastic pub....

Great little micro bar that used to be a butchers shop in the village centre. The former butcher is now the landlord!! There was a choice of 3 real ales on my visit, the Goose Eye - Bitter was bang on! I would visit again and recommend.

Treasure of a local pub, great owners really welcoming, good atmosphere. My local Friday go to now. Oh yeah and if they ask who ate all the pies it was me. Wow hot juicy pie's only beaten by good fresh lager, pipes are well looked after.

For me though, I just found the bar staff a bit indifferent, and not really prepared to engage with people other than regulars. A simple hello on arrival and hope to see you again when I left would have been good. I did look round but didn't get any response. It's the little things which make you feel your custom is valued, perhaps this was a one off.
