Just the best Chinese around! So many options, great S&P chips, amazing taste. Portion sizes are great. Super friendly delivery driver.

I recently ordered from here, and I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food and the efficiency of the service. The sweet and sour chicken was perfectly crispy and coated in a flavorful sauce, while the vegetable fried rice was both fresh and aromatic, packed with a variety of colorful veggies. The portion sizes were generous, making it great value for money. The staff was friendly and ensured my order was ready in record time. Overall, Great Wall is my new go-to for Chinese takeout, and I can't wait to try more of their dishes!

Went for the first time this week. Ordered online through their site. Paid PayPal. Went down to collect, on street parking down hill gate. Can probably get busy during peak hours. Collection was quick and easy - food was ready when I arrived. Probably one of the best Chinese takeaways I’ve had in/around Stockport.

Only have been the once. But the food and service were exemplary.

i ordered a vegetarian chow mein and it came as chicken chow mein and when phoned they told me thats what i ordered no help and then put phone down not happy

First time ordering from the great wall on hillgate, I ordered 2 meals,the first was Ribs with lemon they were very very tender,chips were soft on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside. My second meal was beef sachuan,not tried it yet but smells amazing. Had my beef sachuan the day after and wow very spicy, wonderful.

Had pork salt and pepper ribs from other places but never had round pork ribs before , wonder if it is pork , tasted strange.

Great food and always fresh .i get food from them last 10 years I never been disappointed

Usually love your food , but yesterday’s (Sunday)was a disappointment as not up to usual standard. Chicken & pineapple was watery and tasteless, and so was the chicken & ginger. The chicken curry had no peas in it.

We have tried several Chinese takeaways in the area & this is definitely one to return to.

Please advise your delivery drivers of the delivery instructions when ordered! Delivery information placed on orders not transposed! Common problem with deliveries to my address!

My son and I were frequent customers of this place until recently I dived in to take a look at their charges because I was suspicious of their price hype. On their new website, the beef curry was advertised of £6 but the woman on the phone charged me £6.40, another dish was not even advertised so I took the hit on whatever she told me! She further charged me the delivery £3 even I live locally. The food was just average. A lot of Chinese takeaways offer free delivery with order over £??, but this place do not offer free delivery doesn't matter how much you order. It is a ripe off place, don't need to bother to order again!

Lovely food as always, wouldn't go anywhere else for a Chinese locally. Always arrives on time and still hot.

Strange. My partners choice was fine. I ordered some chilli and garlic dish however the sauce was really thin (maybe thats the way it was meant to be) it was stupidly overpowering. I mean honestly the chemical ginger flavour gave me heart burn. Not being funny but I can pretty much eat napalm nohave

Food all ways first class and delicious

Been using this takeaway for over a year. Two reasons for dropping a star: 1) Cash only payment, no debit cards accepted. 2) when I 1st when the salt n pepper ribs were big and meaty but they've shrunk and are "skinny". Updated Still great food but the ribs are small...

Omg ! Really lovely food again ! Had fillet steak in black bean sauce...loads of tender filet steak & the salt & pepper chips are amazing 😁

Used this takeout consistently for years never failed and always been happy with it however tonight's takeout came with ribs with no meat on them just bone and prawns in a curry when specifically requested no prawns

Ordered here for the first time tonight and was not disappointed, we live about 2.3 miles away and the food was hot, tasty and plentiful. Husband says it the best salt and pepper selection he’s had in years( had the salt pepper munch box ) . Thank you very much definitely recommend

Cracking Chinese, tried most in the area - this is the best, far better than The Mayflower which people rave about. Food arrived piping hot. Hot and Sour soup, lovely and perky, my number 1 cold cure! Delicious!

The order was ok ,we ordered spring rolls , pepper ribs, chips and fried rice, oh and hot n sour soup, as well as a special curry all to share, and can't fault the meal and quality, price etc, apart from the chips that is, they were oven chips that had been fried?, so a bit disappointed to say the least when finding that out, hence the three stars

Food is good, but the delivery driver sat in his car outside instead of bringing the food to my door. I find this unacceptable.

After using this takeaway for a while I won't be after tonight . Politely phoned up to check what time my order would be delivered after placing online 1hr prior to my call , was told by a lady she would speak to driver which she did then got back on the phone to say I'd actually had my order and put the the driver on who then proceeded to call me a liar and that I'd had my order screaming and shouting at me ! I was told I'd had my order and the driver would be coming back to my house to prove it . 5 min later my order was delivered without any apology for the abuse I'd just took !!! Shame on Great Wall cause food is excellent but its customer service is absolutely shocking ! Clearly mistakes happen but you do not accuse your customers before you gave actually properly looked into where that ( missing ) order went .

Foods really nice but ordering for the first time on their own website rather than Just eat they ignored my note for no vegetables in my udon and spent an hour taking out vegetables... £6 for half a portion

We have had our second takeaway from the great Wall tonight it was very nice and would highly recommend it. Lovely lady on counter and lovely food what more can you ask for.

Love the food here, massive portions and well priced. Always piping hot 👍 All the whinging muppets complaining about delivery’s, get of your lazy arses and go get it yourselves, simple.

I was trying to feed my children after a such a long and hard day using hungry house and the takeaway cancelled on us i recived no notification of this so we waited for over an hour believing it was on its way and by the time we realised they cancelled everywhere was shut in my area so my children starved for hours until i managed to find somewhere that was open to feed them😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😠😠😠

I talked with 3 people over the phone to place my order an non of them knew what GLUTEN FREE means .. also could not be specific about if contained wheat flours or other flours... The spicy seafood soup was everything but spicy and in general was a bad experience.

Placed an order with these and when they found out we live in a pub refused to deliver when the week before they did and my husband waited outside for the driver and paid him, well we will make sure we tell all of our customers never to use this place now

Waiting for 2 hours for a delivery. Told "IT'S BUSY" and phone put down. We knows it's busy, it's Saturday night..doesn't come as a surprise?
