Best authentic Indian food. Not the usual so called Indian restaurants.. this is truly authentic. the food, service and everything is exceptional. Chef Naeem, well known in Altrincham food world having lead Dilli restaurant has still kept his Indian roots intact and delivers a mouth tasting and amazing food to remember for few days after you have experienced his culinary skills with dishes. Thank you for the food and had a great evening with friends.

Beautiful, authentic Indian food. Chef/owner was so lovely and welcoming, he couldn’t do enough to make our meal the best it could be and always smiling. It’s always a gamble on trying a new curry place because some will try and put boiled chicken in ketchup water and tell you it’s karahi chicken, this place is real authentic Indian cuisine full of flavour and spice. Will definitely be back

Would highly recommend this place. We placed a catering order for around 40 people and received great food and great service. Daal Makhni deserves its own special highlight! Really really good.

Authentic Indian foods, excellent service. Lamb chop Mughlai, pani puri and chicken biryani are always in my order. I’ve tried many other dishes. They all good and never get disappointed.

The owner was head chef at a successful Indian Restaurant in Altrincham, and now has this place. Passionate about traditional flavours, and very warm and welcoming. An absolutely incredible meal. The Lamb Rogan Josh was beautifully cooked with melt in your mouth chunks of lamb. The Paneer dish was also one of the best we’ve ever had. Very clean looking kitchen, and the chef definitely takes a lot of pride in his food. Honestly one of the best Indian takeouts I’ve experienced. Restaurant quality, brilliant value, and exceptional tasting. Timperley residents are very lucky to have this level of Indian cuisine on their doorstep!

Delicious and authentic south asian cuisine. This family run takeaway/ restaurant is a real hidden gem and better than any other curry house weve been to recently in south mancheater. Every dish we had was fantastic. The Aloo Tikka, lamb gosht and Chicken Macanwala were the highlights though.

They deserved their brand name as it was indeed The Great Indin Kitchen! Found them on Google one night and decided to try it out. Ordered lamb chops for a starter, Chicken biryani, and minced lamb for mains. Had mango lassi as well and it was perfect! Cravings satisfied indeed! Finally found our go-to Indian place.

First time ordering and we will definitely be back. The food was delicious, with the fish curry was amazing, lots of thick white fish, the paneer spicy and tasty, the pani puri lovely….. We had it delivered and it arrived earlier than expected and was piping hot. Really good service and excellent food, we’ll be back. We did go back, last night, and the food was still fabulous, cooked fresh as we sat waiting, piping hot and all delicious. Great veggie choices too, we’ll be back!

This is simply, bar none, the best Indian. Drove from Northwich to get this the other night as none even come close. Sauces, exceptional, meat tender, no bulking with veg, proper chunks of garlic on the naan bread. Think how good Indians around here were in the 90’s, with updated recipes and visit this total Gem. Hats off to you guys, a pleasure to come and see you the other night. Will be back! 👊🏻

We have tried numerous takeaway Indian establishments around Timperley and Altrincham Area and to be honest the curries all taste the same. But this Takeaway is totally different we have tried most dishes on their menu and they are all delicious and all different. Very friendly family run business would highly recommend this business for authentic curries,and look forward to my Saturday Night curry. If I could would give this Business 6 stars!

I ordered Chicken Biryani after my long flight from Singapore. This is my first time trying out and was so hungry/ starving. Decided wanted something spicy and flavorful. Ordered their Chicken Biryani for dinner. I must say.... this was one of the BEST biryani i have ever tasted in my entire time. It was too good and the portion was very generous. Keep up this great job .... Super highly recommended if you visit Manchester in future.

This is the most flavoursome Indian food that we’ve eaten in a very long time. A really home cooked flavour instead of the usual generic food in most Indian restaurants. The staff are so friendly and take the family business feeling to another level.

The chef recommended dishes specifically to me as a vegetarian, and it was the best curry I have ever had. The paneer was creamy and cooked in a delicious masala sauce. Cannot wait to have it again!

The owner was very helpful and even educational. Super nice chap. The food was cooked to perfection. It is mostly a take out place with a couple of tables to eat in. very basic but functional. We ate here twice while here visiting family. Super fresh made to order in front of your eyes.

Ordered food from here. Gobi Manchrian one very less spicy and very spicy, both were just gobi in a lot of ketchup and chilli flakes. Very disappointed! The non spicy was also spicy, enough after telling it was for kids. On top of the box they were labeled as chilli chicken rather than gobi manchurian. If you don't cook something please tell rather than cooking something else. And the portion was less even after paying full amount. Ordered mixed vegetables and the vegetables were not even cooked and there was not even a nice gravy. Ended up paying 42 pounds which was an utter waste. I would not order from here.

The food, chefs and service are all superb. We've been testing Indian take aways in the Altrincham area for years, most are hit and miss but the food here is always excellent. I really recommend the Aloo Tikki to start, so tasty and different to anything I've had before anywhere else. The Currys are all full of flavour rather than trying to blow your head off, subtle flavours that always delight the taste buds.

Best "Indian" takeaway food I've had in a long while. So often these type of establishments churn out non descript generic sauces and just apply any name that the customer ordered but the food here very bespoke and very tasty. Meat tender and friendly staff. I had to ring them up to congratulate and thank them, it was that good. Long may it continue.

Food quality, taste and ease to reach are not bad. But a bit expensive for what it is!

If you like tasty, well cooked food, you will love this place. The lamb chops were the most tender I have ever had. The prawns in the starter dish were cooked in delicious spices but not so strong as to ruin the flavour. The cauliflower main was also cooked perfectly and went well with the crisp roti. This was the best curry I've had in years. The cooking is from a highly professional and accomplished chef. The seating is cafe style, so don't go expecting a plush restaurant - if you are lucky enough to have a reservation. It is nice to sit in the company of the family who are rightfully proud of the excellent food they cook!

Don’t usually leave reviews but thought I ought to on this occasion. First time we had food from GIK and we weren’t disappointed. We had a number of different dishes between four of us and they were all fresh and tasty and much different from the usual Indian takeout fayre. If you like Indian food you should definitely give it a try.
