The most amazing little cafe! Amazing food (literally the best brunch I’ve ever had in my life) and such friendly staff. We stumbled upon it accidentally but will now be our go-to place!

This place has become a firm favourite of ours to visit. Always busy which is Testament to the great service and the quality of the food.

Been wanting to try here for a while. Visited today and had an amazing lamb roast dinner. Service was excellent and a nice vibe.

It has to be said that this is one of the best. Lovely environment, friendly staff and great food. It's becoming such a popular café that you may be best booking a table, though there's usually at least one available. Prices are reasonable and as a dog owner it's a pleasure to find somewhere that's dog friendly. I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed with a visit.

We had wanted to try this place for a while but never got round to it. So glad we finally did as the food is amazing. Backed up by lovely friendly service. Great little restaurant and we’ve already been back twice. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

We have just been here. The food has been quite tasty, lovely presentation and normal price. But the service was quite disappointing, a women with tattoos on her arms and green glasses who it looks that might be in charge… was super rude, not paying attention when we were talking to her, acting like none was saying a word. Her attitude was simply awful. I think everyone can make a difference just with a smile.

Great little find! The staff were lovely, they stayed open for us as we were running late, the food was so good, reasonably priced & dog friendly too - what a find! Can’t wait to try their roasts one Sunday too.

Everything is clean, service is outstanding, food is delicious and not too overpriced. I think they should add more vegetarian options for the kids menu.

Forgot to take pictures of food, but catered to my fussy menu needs perfectly!! Adored the shakshouka as usual, also my mum ordered the Easter special of Prawn and Crayfish on sourdough. We couldn’t fault at all! Link enjoyed his doggy treats too.

Lunch with a friend- the prawn and crayfish was beautifully presented and delicious. Best coffee - quality and right shots. Excellent service. Tables close due to space but acceptable. Well used by locals - always meet people I know! What a gem of a high class cafe. Well priced.

First visit today. Staff friendly, food excellent. I have prawn and crayfish brunch which was very flavoursome, though I think the texture of the crayfish worked better than the prawns. Will be back there soon

The food is amazing as for the same with the staff who are very polite . I have quite a lot of allergies and they always accommodate to my dietary requirements. It’s a cosy atmosphere and we always feel welcome.

The best place for breakfast! We have visited lots of places and this is where we decided to stick with. The best selection and everything is made to a high standard. We visit here at least once a week. The avocado, poached egg and wild mushroom on sourdough is a favourite.

Recommended by friends, so had lunch & coffees here yesterday (Wed) & it was understandably packed, but served very quickly. If you want smg different to your normal everyday meals this is the place to go,a little hidden gem. Lovely 😊 staff.

I actually live in Birmingham but I am always sure to visit Cafe Bistro when I am visiting family over here or staying in Manchester - the food is that good! I've been several times now and the food is always delicious, lattes are excellent. I had the Sunday lunch for the first time today and it was absolutely delicious. My 5 year old enjoyed his dinner too. If I had to find one fault, it would be that I was charged £1.60 for a little extra gravy which seemed a lot for the very small jug I was given, and for the price paid, this definitely is more than covered in the cost of the meal. I wasn't advised when I asked for a little more gravy that there would be a charge, so just one small flaw, but overall I highly recommended and the staff are otherwise very attentive and accommodating.

5 adults and a 10 month old on a Sunday morning for breakfast. Great service and food really good. Highly recommend the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Toilets spotlessly clean as well. Highly recommended.

I almost didn’t eat my Latino brunch because it looked so spectacular. Then I tried a bit and had to scoff the lot. It was the best meal Ive had in ages. Really felt like the type of dish served in a up market restaurant rather than a cafe. I definitely want to visit again quite soon.

Tried Cafe Bistro for the first time and loved it. So much great choice on the menu and what I chose (pulled pork benedict) was delicious! Really reasonable pricing too, and the kids portion was also really good sized. Will definitely go back, but now I have the dilemma of whether I go for the same thing (as it was so yummy) or try something new!!

Amazing food. This is the best cafe in the area. Courgette and halloumi cheese on sourdough bread and the hint of sriracha sauce. If you like a little kick, you must try it

Went to lunch with my mum and daughter today. Mum had the steak sandwich, daughter had the new york bagel & I had the quesadilla. All the meals were gorgeous and really great value for money. The bistro's clean & cosy and the server was lovely. We'd seen it recommended on a local social media page with great reviews. Now we understand why! Would thoroughly recommend too.

This place is a hidden gem. Happened upon it as I don’t live in the area but would make an effort to come back. The breakfast burrito was so good! Didn’t like black pudding so they happily swapped it for avo and it was the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever tasted. They also do a mean oat milk latte. This place is well worth a visit.

Popped in here for a quick bite to eat on a Sunday and left feeling pleasantly full. I had the full breakfast wrap and it was full, not sure it could have contained anything more, and everything cooked perfectly..definitely going to be popping back for another quick bite! Update: I went in for brunch on a Friday lunchtime, and was not disappointed with my return, had the Breakfast Burger special and it was fantastic. Also finished off my wife's eggs which were cooked to perfection. I would go as far as to say this place is definitely worth making a diversion to visit.

My sister and I tried this place for the first time today, we wanted somewhere new to go. We weren't disappointed, it's really lovely and I will definitely go again. It doesn't look as appealing from the outside, but the inside is a treat. The food was delicious and the staff so nice. As we left I asked if they had anything GF (Both my husband and daughter are coeliac) and they have GF bread in for sandwiches, no cake options though. I would absolutely recommend a visit if you haven't already been. X

Fantastic food and service that changes throughout the day. From a tasty breakfast, to home baked cakes and great coffee to keep you going a cycle ride, to lunches which are constantly varied, this place is superb. Where it excels is every second week the tapas nights on Thursday and Friday have a constantly changing menu to keep things interesting and varied with BYOB. It is dog friendly, and the staff are great with any special requirements.

I can only recommend this place. I am quite sophisticated with food (maybe my italian blood has an impact on it), but the pictures already draw my attention. Food was incredible, fast and responsive service and cozy environment. A must if you live close by and a worth drive if you live a bit further.

Called here on Sunday for quick brunch. I had eggs Royal and it was beautifully cooked, just as I like it. Not been here before but will definitely be back. The staff were lovely too.

The freshest and most varied food I have ever tasted. Everything made to your order and delivered by a waiter who is so happy you can tell he loves the cafe and his job. Everything is home-made and you can almost taste the pride behind it. I just had to beg the chef to give me some of his own tartare sauce to take home - it was an amazing burst of flavour. The atmosphere is relaxed and not commercialised, I felt as if I was dining at a friend's house and that I was welcome. I came away with a feeling of euphoria. All I can say is, don't take my word for it, try it for yourself - you'll thank me for it!

I went last week with my daughter and it was delicious. I am a big eggs Benedict fan and they were the nicest I have had in a cafe. My daughter is quite a fussy eater and she loved here breakfast too. I will be going back 💕💕

We enjoyed a tasty lunch here. All the food is delicious. The staff are so helpful and provide excellent service. The 'All day breakfast' is amazing and as for the 'Fish Finger sandwich' it's just outstanding. A wonderful treat, we'll be back.

Nice coffee. Quick service. Full breakfast was over priced for what you get. I had veggie falafel be warned it is sprinkled with sesame seeds and sunflower seeds which isn't stated on the menu but I was expected to go through my allergies with them upon arrival. But it stated egg and so I asked without egg... mention seeds and I will say without seeds... usually works.

Booked a table for 5 of us and all of us had a fantastic lunch yesterday. I chose the roast chicken dinner and it was amazing. The chicken was tender and the veg cooked to perfection. And staff was lovely too. Highly recommend this gem of a bistro!
