Service really let us down today. No eggs for my partner's fry and by the time they arrived my meal was getting cold! Food itself was as good as always fortunately.

First time it has failed to get five stars from me. Service was fine but then again it was quite quiet. Prices have again risen but, unfortunately, this time, and this is the only time, the food was very bland. I opted for the lasagne with chips and my partner for the Ulster Fry. Hers was fine except for the pancake which was almost inedible as it was cooked almost to a cinder! As always the restaurant was spotlessly clean.

Once again the meal was delicious. I opted for the mince beef pie with champ and my partner her usual Ulster Fry. Portions are generous and the whole restaurant is, as usual, spotlessly clean. Prices have risen in line with inflation, but then again, hasn't everywhere! Still exceptionally good value for money.

Off I go again singing the praises of this restaurant. Tuesday's and Thursday's they have a healthy menu only so no Ulster Fry. Does it matter, of course not because what is on offer is simply perfect anyway. I opted for the chicken in barbecue sauce with rice - absolutely delicious - and my partner went for the gammon, again excellent. Try this place if you haven't already and like us, you will return again and again.

671 Shore RoadWhere do I start with this little gem of a place? Having recently moved to the area, we were keen to explore. We clocked this place as it is very well located just off the shore road, access via Whiteabbey village. The first trip was just my wife and I. I went for the Christmas chip, which was incredible, I was in a treat yourself mood, so I also had a lovely pint of Pironi. What a place to sit and enjoy a pint. We've lived in the area for 6 weeks and have been to Sozo once a week. The staff are incredible, so so good with my wee daughter who insists on saying "Hiya" to them every time they pass. They are so patient and attentive, which is refreshing to see in hospitality, considering, in my opinion, some places have never recovered post covid with staffing issues. Great food, great coffee, and a lovely selection of sweet treats just to make sure you're really full 🤦🏽♂️😂. To make it even better, if you can't get out of the house... they'll deliver. Dangerous for the waist but here we are.
