Food arrived cold and soggy and over a hour late considering its supposed to be gourmet I've had better from other burger takeaways ..not worth the money go elsewhere, wife left a review on their fb page but was deleted by takeaway

Good flavour and options on the burger. Maybe drain your fried food a little longer before packing. All In all enjoyable

Gorgeous food as always; we love the burgers from here!! Tried a veggie burger tonight and it was full of flavour :-) always nice big generous portions too. Sweet potato fries are a must try, they're heaven in a takeaway carton! Disappointed this time with the delivery times as it took them best part of 2 hours to deliver (they added almost an hour to hour initial ETA). So was past our usual bedtime before the meal arrived :-( Speed up delivery service and you'd have a pretty perfect takeaway :-)

So disappointed...this is my favourite takeaway for a treat but after 2 hours the food arrived and the order was wrong. I cannot even be bothered calling again to listen to their stock excuses. Will not be ordering again. This is what happens when businesses start to cut corners, they think they will save on costs for the benefit of profits but reslly you just end up losing your customers. Looking at your recent reviews i'd say it was time for a rethink or new management. The current one clearly doesn't have a clue

I've ordered from GourmetGrub a number of times, & am sad to say, my last order was one of THE WORST meals I've ever had. The coleslaw was off, the burger was dry & tasted old. Looking forward to the chocolate pizza, having stated in the notes exactly which toppings I would like, it arrived with absolutely nothing I asked for on it. Instead of calling & explaining this, it was assumed I would just eat it as is. Well, GourmetGrub, your food quality has been going downhill for the past few months, & after this last fiasco, you've lost an extremely loyal customer. I WILL NOT order from you again. The total amount of this order, including £2.00 for delivery was £16.05, which I consider quite expensive for one person. I will be taking my hard earned money elsewhere. You guys need to up your game if you plan to keep your customers happy as this unacceptable business practice. All I can say is good luck.

Becoming a regular restaurant to order from. This time however we had concerns regarding a long delivery time. It took almost 2 hours for the food to arrive ( it was still hot however) and they also missed a pizza on the order. However after a talk with the restaurant they sent the driver back and gave us two complementary chocolate cake slices along with the missing pizza. Despite this misshap they are still very worth ordering from! The food is so tasty!

Yo puse una orden que era de más de una hora y 10 minutos debido. Cuando llamé para preguntar por qué el hombre que hable fue grosero maleducado y me abordó de una manera que él no era justo hacer, tratando de abordar me a nivel personal. Después de explicar a él que me iban a llamar, a comer y vuélvelo mi situación les hable primero. Así que mi experiencia con el restaurante fue seguido por una llamada fría avisarme mi pedido había sido cancelado. Cuando me comentaron que el llamador de lo sucedido no preocupación mostrada por la forma en que este hombre había hablado o tratado conmigo como cliente. Yo no le orden desde el restaurante o simplemente comer nuevamente debido a esto. Pero a partir de la actitud de los involucrados ninguna parte cuidado. Nº de negocios

Terrible experience here. Wait time was extended by 30 minutes which was fine at first even though it took the total wait to over an hour. However it was them a further 30 minutes late! Order arrived and was wrong and cold too. No apology and nothing offered when chased up. Will never come back. Don't order from here

Extended my delivery time by 30 minutes. Food arrived and it was pretty much cold - chips were like cardboard and if I'm honest the Parmo was mushy. Certainly not what I expected and I won't be re-ordering. Second time I've tried this place (once when it opened) and last time.

Our Order was late even though they extended our delivery time another 30 minutes!! half of the order was no longer available so we were asked to choose something else and then to top it off they missed part of the order! Just ordered a few meals from here including 2 tikka kebabs a pizza and my order a burger. By all accounts the food was good however on a personal note I would have preferred my burger a bit rarer, maybe the takeaway could look at cooking these to order? That said the meat was good quality and the chips were spot on.

Over an hour wait this was my first order from here. But i was sooo impressed with the food it was lovely.

40 minutes late, don't get me wrong they apologised and were really nice but it was just too late for me. Chips and onion rings seemed under cooked. Burger was amazing apart from it was missing a chicken breast that I had paid extra for, only 50p but if you pay for something you should get it at least? Unfortunately won't be back due to delivery time and parts of the food not being up to standard but don't let that put you off, I may of been the unlucky guy!

Mirando los menús me impresionó para encontrar algún lugar que gran decepción hamburguesas vegetarianas hecho. Casi 6 libras por un £1 hamburguesa vegetal, petición especial sin salsa barbacoa múltiples capas en la parte superior era simplemente ignorado! Las patatas Las patatas dulces fueron Una enorme decepción con lo que pusieron en ellos, no podria decir que fue como fue insípido! Tomó más de una hora y estaba tibia. El mejor y más sabroso de la comida fue la salsa de ajo!! Mi consejo es que si quieres comida gourmet, este no es el lugar para ir a la pizzería normal hace mucho mejor.

Ordered a steak, so fatty my jaw is still aching from chewing so much! Parmo was dry with barely any bechemal sauce. Desert was the tiniest slice of cake. On the plus side the chips are really nice but the order was 40 minutes late.

We have been using gourmet grub for over a year as their house special pizza was delicious and different to any we had found elsewhere. Last two times I ordered it however the wrong pizza has been delivered. Last time I rang the restaurant and they did send me out the correct pizza 30 minutes later. This time I rang and was told they have changed the house special but not updated the website so customers don't know they are ordering something completely different ( supposed to be chicken and chorizo with yogurt, whiskey BBQ sauce and fresh basil, the pizza they delivered was pepperoni with BBQ sauce on the base!) It was also a bit burnt which made it even less appealing. In fairness they did once again offer to replace the pizza with a different one but there wasn't another we liked the look of as the pizza choice is limited so I requested a refund and my partner was left with a portion of sadly soggy sweet potato fries for his dinner which I had to put in the oven to try and crisp them up a bit. The staff were polite and apologetic but I think that will be the last time we order from them.

Pedimos la pizza de chocolate que se anuncia y parece increíble cuando llegó mi niña fue devastada! Tenía una pequeña variedad de chocolate y maní y ms en asif m que puso algo cacahuetes en niños, parecían encaminadas a nada como lo anuncian! El parmo no bien, también ha eliminado nuestra página off allí ni siquiera tienen la decencia de responder o resolver el problema!!

The meal was cold. The chips used to be lovely but they were scrappy, cold and really not nice. The breadcrumbs on the parmesan were soggy. Overall the meal was not very good, we have definately had better, which is a shame because the food from here used to be lovely. We will save our money next time, as I begrudge paying for lower than average food.

Chef has some skin condition allover arms and face. Received to random burgers. Not what we asked for. Also ordered sweet potatoes fries .. got curly fries and very greasy mushy chips. Someone in there drinking smirnoff vodka and coke. Staff swearing. Want my money back!

Arrived late. One of the orders was wrong. Ordered and paid for a meat parmesan and a plain one arrived. Hardly any sauce on the parmesan, was just cheddar cheese on top

Burnt bun, randomly I had what looked like a rock hard Parmo stuck on top of my burger - not what I ordered - and for the price I paid for the side of onion rings I got 5!!! These were to share! We have been waiting over an hour for our order, its turned up cold and its the wrong order we ordered a classic parmo and have got a pepperoni one ! The girl who delivered it had an attitude problem as i didnt hear the door . This is not what I expect from somewhere i order from regularly and are usually good with orders. Rather dissapointed!

Ordered online and they rang to say they were out of three of the things we ordered, so we made some substitutions. The delivery service was quick and courteous. Unfortunately, the food was really not great. Burgers were more like sloppy joes. One was like a mound of charred, badly-seasoned mince sitting in a bun, the other held together a bit better because of the cheese on it. Chilli jam was missing. Kebab was cold and the pitta bread was rock hard. Didn't live up to the potential, which is a shame because I think there is a real market for home-delivery of good quality fast/street food.

Multiple menu items not in stock. Food that arrived missing advertised seasonings (or perhaps that's just a testament to the general lack of flavour). Rock hard pitta bread, bland over priced burgers that fell into crumbly bits. Massively overpriced and pretentious menu offered by a place that can't get the basics down. Avoid.

Delivery took almost 2 hours, pitta bread was solid so wasted, salad was literally a handful of lettuce with a few lumps of onion. Chips were ok, chocolate cake was ok but definitely not worth the money won't be ordering again.

Food arrived really quickly and piping hot. .. delicious .. would highly recommend the parmo, lovely chicken nice fresh salad,.. proper chips .. and generous topping of cheese! Highly recommend! Personal taste I'd prefer crispier breadcrumbs and more bech sauce, but that's just me .. other than that .. perfection!!

Items were wrong on our order. Ordered two kebabs arrived with no Pitta bread just a box of chicken pieces. Ordered peppercorn chicken - the sauce did not come as expected I.e creamy peppercorn was more like a peppery gravy which I didn't like but that's down to individual taste. Ordered chips which didn't arrive either. Quality of food is very good.

Ordered at 7.10 arrived at 8.45. This has happened a few times with this takeaway. I ordered the parmo and this was delicious and of great quality. Partner ordered a burger and asked for no sauce but it came smothered in sauce and because of this he did not eat his burger.

After 2 hours 40 mins and it did not arrive I rang after 2 hours they told me the driver has it 40 mins later I canceled

I never write reviews but coz our bill was £33 I was exspecting nice food. It was tasteless all 5 of us got difftent things and none of my family likes what was giving. The bin got the lot. Very dissapointed

Not great, wanted to order from here for a while after seeing all the lovely looking food on Facebook but was disappointed. Burger wasn't to bad but chips were cremated onion rings soggy and the cheese cake was just messy gunge. Don't mind paying for good food but this was not.

Food was gorgeous; the burgers are great quality homemade and really tasty; both beef, chicken and vege patties were lovely. Double fried chips and sweet potato fries also great. Sticky toffee pudding mediocre but hit the spot for hubby who wanted something sweet. Bad points were we ordered in advance to plan our evening round getting a takeaway at a specific time later that nite; we then had to wait 2 hours 15minutes to get our food!!! Rang them repeatedly and always engaged (off the hook?!) and emailed but no response :-( eventually turned up delivered by a very apologetic friendly young female delivery driver (coke forgotten and she had to go back to collect it). However, for a £23 takeaway, chucking in some free curly fries and chocolate cake didn't make up for the fact I would of happily eaten the paper delivery bag by the time the food came!! Will give them the benefit of the doubt and try again but get the timings sorted guys; letting your good quality food down!
