Atrocious service as soon as we walked in. Manager served us & did not use pen & paper to take order. We waited 15 minutes just for our drinks. Restaurant was empty & order was wrong. Ordered a starter and it come with main meal. Food was not good value for money - it was cold. When asked for manager she did not approach us & apologise - instead she asked her employee to speak on her behalf. Most people around us walked out & did not finish their meals. Manager seemed unfazed. Waitress dropped next tables food & caused a slipping hazard. The mess was not cleaned up properly. Tables were not cleared. Manager needs to rethink her Strategies. DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT.

We went out for our couples meal. We ordered Chicken wings to start they came ice cold like out of the fridge. We both ordered burgers for our main course they were put on to cook at the same time as the starters. When the burgers came they were like eating leather and to top it all off the chips were burnt. The staff never checked on us or asked if we wanted more drinks or anything. We didn’t eat the main. We paid left and won’t ever be returning.

So all three of us thought we would try the South Ruislip branch to see what it’s like. we went in, the girl told us to order on the app…the app was complicated and confusing and she refused to take the order manually even when we were struggling. We eventually ordered. My burger came way before my family’s. So I had to eat it first as it was getting cold, then half an hour later they bring out another burger. Then 10 minutes later another burger. They were doing things one at a time, including sides!! They also ran out of everything! No J20, no mushrooms, no cheese dippers. And they never offered to give us a refund on those items or give us a free side. My niece ordered a burger with ketchup, that was completely ignored and they gave her mayo instead. Never coming back here again. Far too expensive for what it was. Chef had no idea what she was doing. And also didn’t wear her hat properly so hair was everywhere. Need I say more!…

Having previously had Saucy Chicks as a takeaway from another in the chain, I thought I’d give this place a go, as the food was lacklustre via takeaway. We each ordered a burger (one beef, one chicken). Making clear our request of no Mayo on the chicken burger. The food arrived eventually, perhaps taking a bit longer than it should. The chicken burger had lashings of Mayo, the burger had a rationed drizzle of barbecue sauce on it, and bacon wasn’t great. I sent my meal back, and it was replaced promptly. However the chips were fairly cold. The poor lady serving every table in the place, running around like a headless chicken, cleaning/clearing tables, running food, and dealing with multiple complaints just within the hour we were there, I felt very sorry for. Baring the brunt of this clearly poorly managed restaurant chain. I noticed at least 4 other tables walk out without ordering any food. Multiple delivery drivers clearly extremely frustrated as it appeared the kitchen had also lost multiple orders too. The place is named after gourmet, I think whoever named it that is either doing it ironically for a laugh, or they have an extremely poor interpretation of what “gourmet” means.

We arrived early for our movie screening and decided to explore the local area for a bite to eat before the movie. We were promptly shown to a table. We ordered using the mobile friendly QR code without any issues, although the food took a long time to arrive. In the case of the burger, the request for no onions was ignored, and the chicken wings lacked flavour, and seasoning, and they were literally just coated in sauce (the name Saucy chicks is a bit of a giveaway here though). It took us several attemps to request some tap water from the bar. The restaurant itself needs a clean, as we could see dead flies on the window sills All in all, not a pleasant experience.

The food was horrible and took more than an hour to come. There were hardly any staff and service was terrible. I wouldn’t recommend coming here!!!!

Afriend and I visited the South Ruislip store for the first and probably last time recently. The lady that originally seated us and took our order was wonderful, gave a complimentary starter as she advised our ribs would take about 1 1/4 hours the mains arrived about 21.15 which was fine. There was 2 young girls pouring water on the floor nearby to clean at one point one sat on a table then put the water bucket from the floor on to a table. People have to eat off those tables and they were set ready for customers so I doubt they would have been cleaned again, this is disgusting and unhygienic even more so with Covid. We waited a while to get more drinks so asked the girls if we could order and well it felt like we were disturbing them, they just called across to our original server "they want to order drinks". The rib portions were very generous so we asked for a box to take away and the bill. We got the box and a while later one of the young girls came and said we are closed, we said well were still waiting for the bill, then someone turned all the lights off. Not our fault the ribs took a long time and not our fault the bill didn't come when we asked. There was us and another table of 3 you would think customers would be welcome not made to feel like an inconvenience.

Was looking for some where to grab a bite to eat, late Sunday morning breakfast type meal and didn't fancy a Café so popped in to gourmet 4. First time ever in one of these chain of restaurant's and had a lovely burger, my wife had Vegetable tacos and we both had coffee.( One of the nicest cups of coffee I've had in a restaurant) The food was great and excellent value for money and I thought what a great place to go for a casual no fuss meal be great place to go with the family with enough choices and Varity on the menu to keep most family's happy. The service was very friendly and will defiantly be giving this place another go. well worth a look
