Got Beef in Colchester

delicious, not expensive and very large portions

A huge thank you to "Got Beef" catered for our 50+ Staff Party. Food was delicious we opted for the Philly Burger, Seasoned Fries, Pulled Pork and side of pickles & offered a very tasty Houlumi Burger for our vegetarians 🤤. Very filling, generous portions fast efficient service freshly made to order well done to Lee and the team a credit to Mersea 👌

I got NO beef! Drove to the google map location. It’s not there! Don’t waste your time. I did phone before to order but no one answered the phone. I can’t get a delivery as I’m on a campsite. Maybe it’s delivery only in which case it should say so on this listing. Maybe the map location is inaccurate in which case the owner should update it.

We were excited to try 'Got Beef' based on reviews. We got there and no menus to view so politely asked is the menu as we saw it online. The young man unhelpfully said 'well what have you seen?". My husband then tried to make polite conversation to which we got " well yearh thanks to you holiday makers" in a very sarcastic way. I went to order and the lady turned to the guy and said " We have online orders don't we".... (What's that got to do with me standing in the rain) to this I said, "that's fine we have the car we will wait" . To be honest if I didn't have the kids in the car hungry ... I would of left. Got back and the food was ok but when my daughter said "Mum is this mould on the bun" ???? To which it was..... Unhappy to say the least. Never will we return

Honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had. Reasonably priced and delicious. Would recommend.

Excellent meat. This beef eating experience is as good as a prime rib on a summer's day! I acquired the Philly cheese boi, the steak which was excellent, a little too much cheese for my taste but hey, we move. As you can see from the pictures this didn't stop me at all. My girl friend, got the lip smacking pulled pork BBQ burger boi and this was also excellent, the patty which cooked well and wasn't dry, the pork was little over powered by the BBQ sauce but had a nice little crispness to it which was loooovly. The dirty cheese fry Bois, we ordered were amazing and should accompany any order you place. Definitely would recommend again and again and again.

I have had two deliveries now and they have been on time and food is always hot as well and the food is spot on and I would tell the world as it is the best takeaway going for this sort of food thank u for a lovely service and friendly people

Never have I met anyone so dedicated to making American style food so tasty. Passionate about taste and quality. He is a true perfectionist and you will not be disappointed. I’ve sampled burgers, cheesy chips, dirty fries, ribs and wings and I’ve loved every bit of it. I don’t even think I could choose a favourite. Get ordering, you’ll be so pleased you did!

Best ribs, chicken and burgers around! Without a doubt nobody else makes burgers, wings and ribs like these guys do 100% recommend!!!!
