Staff can be a bit rude. Bright cafe opening on to the park. Perfect for a sunny day. Offers dairy alternatives (soya, oat, almond and coconut). Quality ice-cream, chilled ethical drinks and tea, coffee. Sandwiches and cake. Dog friendly. Has access to the park toilets. Can be a bit mummy and buggy central

Amazing cafe in the park!!! Proper little park like cafe, super cheap fun food. Great options for kids and adults. Love the menu, the pizza was good. service friendly . I just love how cheap and cheerful this place is and it’s so perfect for a snack or drink in the park. Chips were delicious and cheap. Pizza so yummy! Really recommend and hope it never changes as I love the community vibe compared to stupid and poncey park cafes in other places.

I love this cosy cafe . It has great vibes, good vegan options , good tea and coffee. Staff are super fun and friendly. Loads of seating outdoors and some indoors. Good selection of food.

Food s okay, Service not so good, I wanted a animal pin and they made it so hard for me to get it and confusing. They charged me 2 pounds for a small pin. The food was A OKAY .A small slice of plain cheese pizza is five pounds?

Lovely day at Good Hope cafe in ladywell. Right opposite there is a lovely area for kids to play. Great food with a nice selection of food. Lovely space.

Amazing service with great vegan food. I ordered a vegan breakfast box but received a vegan sausage breakfast roll. I mentioned that there might have been a mix up and they were more than happy to give me the breakfast box for free! The service by far is the best I’ve seen in a long time they are so friendly and the food was delicious not to mention cheap! I will be coming back and would recommend to everyone:)

Food is cooked to perfection with a good range if food and drinks. Service was lively, happy and very fruendly and welcoming. We had 3 tuna melts. Highly recommend

Friendly lady, nice and hot cappuccino, tasty vegan roll and carrot cake (not too sweet!). Little shadow, but nice spot to rest on a walk along the Waterlink Way.

The best chai latte ever! Honestly it makes me happy every time I drink it, which is a lot. The staff are very friendly and the pastries and other drinks are yummy too.

Trudged out of Lewisham Hospital and decided to treat myself to a caramel oat latte (of about 300ml in stature) at the cafe in the park. I paid £4.20 for the privilege. There are no prices displayed on the boards for coffees which makes me suspect that prices are based on customer appearance. Unless this is simply a byproduct of the current state of the economy? Anyway, staff very friendly, even if they did try to charge me £42.02 the first time round.

horrible experience. I will never go back and I will not recommend it to anyone. Today, Tuesday, May 17 at approximately 3:15 p.m., I arrived at the park with my daughter, after playing for a while, we wanted to buy an ice cream, the woman who gave me unhappy service offered me the ice creams, I kindly asked her to push the scoop a little more inside the cone and she didn't want to do it, when I give my 3-year-old daughter the ice cream, the scoop automatically falls to the ground. I turned around and told the woman the girl had just dropped the ice cream and she answered me in a very rude way: _"and what do you want me to do?" I turned and left and she laughed. I am a woman who works very hard and I have little free time, I want to spend the day off that I have happily with my daughter, this woman dedicated herself to being unhelpful, rude and ruining the afternoon of games. I live in the area and I have many friends that I will never invite for coffee here. Soon it will be my daughter's 4th birthday and I wanted to celebrate it in the park because this cafe was there. totally ruled out the option

Excellent customer service I must say. Very clean and well kept . The food was just amazing , great quality food and and ice cream….. I highly recommend this place for a nice lunch while visiting the park for sure.

Used to be fabulous but the new management are dreadful. Sloppy, moody service, bad coffee, poor quality food. Such a shame, it used to be a nice spot.

Very lovely cafe with good coffee and next to a playground. That’s why I’d like to go there at least three times a day, I would order food and coffees and my toddler would take 2 straws to play with that was kind of our thing. But there is a very angry woman working there, maybe the manager or the oldest employee I don’t know, who also makes other very friendly employees uncomfortable from time to time, she charged me 20p for the two straws that my toddler was playing. That’s what we do in every cafe and no cafes or restaurants ever charged me for the straws! That is just so sad that she is not child friendly at all, working in a cafe next to a playground. From now on I will get my coffee and lunch from Le Delice which is around the corner from the park they are always very child friendly, professional and with more delicious options.

The people who work here are so genuine and lovely. Prices are reasonable and it’s in a nice place to chill either alone or with a group. A lovely man kept coming out with a jug of water, making sure we were all hydrated in the heat. I don’t have a dog, but I sometimes do private dog boarding and I’ll definitely be coming here next time because it’s so dog friendly. Definitely a must-go place in Lewisham. Highly recommended.

Had an excellent bacon and cheese toastie here the other day. Friendly staff. Super handy for Lewisham hospital, which is why we were there.

I had a lovely oat milk cappuccino here. Its a lovely little park cafe with the perfect number of free tables for me and one friend (which is one table). It's a lovely spot in a lovely park. I'm sure if the weather had have been nicer, I would have grabbed an ice cream from them and enjoyed the whole experience even more.

Well run local Café offering all you could want from a park cafe and ice creams in the summer! All goes to great local cause helping educate young people and reduce violence in Lewisham schools. They also accept Lewisham Local Cards too which is a real plus! Highly recommended as well as their sister cafe in Hither Green too.

Friendly service, chatted about de-caf & the Swiss water method versus chemical .... He says that de-caf is rising in popularity. Good outdoor space here, as it's in a beautiful park by a winding river or stream (varied) - we saw a heron today in a quieter part of the park, nearer Catford! This is a great community cafe with cakes freshly baked on the premises!

Great place to relax and have a coffee or cold drink, they also have food. On Saturday's they have burgers from 12 to 4pm.

Went down on a whim this evening and grabbed too very tasty burgers. They even did takeway. Hope they keep this going

The food at the burger pop up were some next level of deliciousness. The classic was juicy and cooked to perfection. The pulled pork (yes I had two....dont judge 🤣) was melt in your mouth with the best crackling I've had. I may have shed a tear when I had finished and it was all gone. Also, HELLO CREAMED CORN!! ❤️❤️ try them before they gone.

Small but tasty menu. Sandwiches, soups, coffee, cake etc. Double doors open onto the park with a few tables outside. Nice and bright and airy. Friendly staff and atmosphere.

Fantastic coffee with amazing staff!

Nice location with a busy atmosphere, situated right next to a children's playground. The tea is expensive and Earl Grey was not particularly good. Served in a paper cup, couldn't taste any bergamot in it and it kind of tasted of rooibos.

The best cappuccino I have ever had! I don't know what beans/milk/water/froth making machine they use but the combination of them all is ethereal.
