Good Fortune in Cardiff

Had chips ,curry sauce , pie and sausage in batter not nice at all .curry tasted powdery chips dry and sausage in batter the batter was thin.much prefer maelfa chippy

Lovely people but food was terrible had chicken curry half n half and it was Probly the worse I’ve had

Would only take cash, tax not paid or dodged out to a point, food is awful but more expensive than other places, avoid at all costs

Great food and friendly staff. Good range of Chinese and 'Fish and Chip' shop food that suited us as a group. Just walked in and ordered, and whilst it did take a little while, it felt fast given the amount of different dishes we were ordering!

Given this place a lot of chances and consistently poor food. Friendly enough people there but the food isn't great. Also, cannot forgive not taking card payments during a pandemic..

The best Chinese in Ross, great quality food and a great chow mein

Popped in for pie and chips on the way home recently. The pie was alright, the lid was a bit stale and hard indicating that it had been under the heat lamp for a long time but it tasted ok. The chips were quite nice. I don't like chip shop chips that are overly greasy but some of my chips were too much the other way - dry! It was very quiet when we went, we were the only customers....which kind of suggested that the food had been sat there for a while. It was ok overall but not a stand out place.

The worst Chinese I've had in my life. Satay sauce tasted strange, battered prawns were completely soggy, tofu was dry and overcooked, sweet and sour was sickly sweet. The dumplings were dry and bland - even the pre-made ones you can buy in the supermarket are much better and cheaper! Don't waste your money on this place!

Been using for many years best in the area.

This one is much more expensive than the other ones. The delivery man kept money for himself and didn’t give me the right amount deliberately.

Stunning food, decent prices and never had a bad meal from here. Would recommend.

Have used vood cortune for nearly forty years but there qaulity has hit all time low and prices all time high i will use alternative now as meals sadly lack meat and prawns have become scarce time to move on it looks like greed has become an issue

Went in at ten to 12 owner said not open till twelve o'clock waited outside till 12 walked in then another person is there cleaning and said food not ready for 10-15 mins why not tell us that in the beginning so waited for nothing poor customer service

Food is awful, younger woman who works there mostly on the wknds is very rude! The vents outside stink like old cooking oil! The main reason they get busy is because there is nothing else around the area. Personally I'd rather starve...

Reheated chips with the chicken and omelette and 6 prawns in the prawn curry - say no more!!!! The prawn curry should have been called an onion curry!!! Because I had mine delivered to my hotel, they clearly feel that they can get away with delivering poor quality food and pathetic portions!

My order took 55 minutes to come and when it did it was cold. Chips were dry and hard like they had been from lunch time. Very disappointed and it was over priced.

Food and people are great. They only accept cash payment.

Quick and friendly, tried the duck with pineapple it was delicious.

Best Chinese takeaway I've been to. Would order food from here every day if I could. Just wish you could pay by card. I never have cash on me so it would be really convenient if I could pay that way.

Chinese and chip shop in one the chips are nice as are the pies abd other stuff. I've enjoyed the Chinese food I've got from there. Always busy can get it delivered or ring in advance cash payments only. Like the staff here.v

Shocking service - so rude not quite sure how they run a business with attitude that bad. Food is also disgusting - save your money and go else where.

Very expensive, quality and quantity is discussting, giving 1star for the convenience,it's only around corner . Do yourself a favour and use Llanedeyrn fish bar , yummy and cheap and loads for your buck

Ordered special fried rice and after saying no prawns, I had a prawn in my food, terrible service when I called to complain, manager speaks hardly any English, please don't put your life at risk by using these.

Had chips from here today fair to say they were older than my nan I know triple cooked chips are all the rage but cooking them in cement takes the mick and tasted like they been there for days nearly took my teeth out. Bit of advice go elsewhere.

We had just moved a home - famished - one very helpful phonecall and a great meal was soon wheeling its way. Not greasy like some Chinese - classic combos and flavours, good portions - well done guys!

I ordered chicken curry prawn fried rice and chips and I was ill sick .£15.25 wasted

Today i ordered the simple meal which was chicken curry half chips and half rice for £4, can;'t go wrong with that right? wrong! i found a prawn in with my meal and i'm not that fussy with my food although i could of been someone with a shellfish allergy which could of had serious consequences if i had eaten it. You guys need to watch what you're mixing in to people's orders.

If I could give zero stars I would! I ordered from here last night on the 15th February and ordered BBQ Ribs, sweet-and-sour chicken balls and chicken chow mein. This is all I ate that day and after eating I was very ill with food poisoning all night. I’ve kept some of the food for testing, requested by the Food Standards Agency. For food poisoning to set in just an hour after eating is extremely bad and the food must be highly contaminated! I will never get anything from there again! I didn’t realize they had a 2 rating from the Food Hygiene Agency.

I can't recall having a bad meal from here whether Chinese or chippy. Their prices are average/reasonable, food is always up to my expectation, delivery is generally early. Good overall

Do not order Crispy Duck from here. It is over cooked, over fried. There is barely any meat left to eat. Our meal was ruined this evening as our son was looking forward to the Crispy Duck and they did not offer anything to compensate us for that. Their customer service and management are bad in trying to remedy the situation.. Attached is a photo of what we were given this evening. This is the 2nd time we had a bad experience ordering Crispy Duck here. We won't be ordering from here again.

Some staff can be quite rude, most are not. Food is usually a decent quality, but some meals can be poor.

Great local Chinese. Recommend the Singapore vermicelli, crispy beef and sweet and sour. Classics.

Very tasty food and handmade chips. The curry sauce here is to die for. Love it!!

I like their sweet & sour chicken with fried rice, their chips are not the best. I also like their chicken curry.

Excellent Chinese food reasonably priced

Best to pick up rather than ask for home delivery. Every time we've had a delivery the food has been cold, chips soggy and always late. Pick up yourself and you know its fresh and not left lying around for ages. Food is generally good though. Good Chinese, ok chippy.

Chinese takeaways variable from good to great. Too much salt in everything, but what the hell ... Wash it down with some ice cold beer .... Marvellous.
