It's a takeaway with good food , been going there for over forty years.

This is one of the best Chinese takeaways I’ve ever had . The food never comes greasy like a lot of other places . And the staff are fantastic , Very helpful and polite . Its one of my regular take away spots !

Started using Good Food Place fairly recently, always had great service here, food is piping hot and good size portions. Clean and tidy inside - can get very busy so worth getting orders in early (or if you can’t get through by phone just pop in!). Need more advertising at the front!

They are very helpful and you can tell it is a busy place, once we got home the food tasted great and priced well. I will be returning. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place has a solid hygiene rating. The Chinese is good and represents very good value for money.

Popped in for some food as I had been on a long shift at work. Friendly staff and nice food at a reasonable price. Food was quickly prepared and was piping hot when I got home. Will be returning next time I get a takeaway.

Amazing food outstanding customer service we definitely recommend here for value for morning easily the best Chinese I've ever had and probably have food from there at least once a week and never disappoints I would definitely recommend giving it try but phone yr order first as it's a very popular Chinese take away.

Quick turnaround on walk in order. Friendly man at till taking orders. Food is tasty and doesn’t pretend to be what it’s not. Food always served very hot. No complaints so far and I’ve patronised a few times. Will definitely return.

Friendly staff, fast service, food was very hot. The prices are a bit lower than some others but then the portions are a bit smaller, so averages out.

Had to take a moment to leave a review for the customer service - came in with what should have obviously been a fake £20 to me but somehow I didn’t realise (I promise I’m quite intelligent so I’m just going to blame it on pregnancy brain!)…Nonetheless the guy serving me was extremely kind about it and patiently waited for me to get my card to make a payment when he had all rights to be very annoyed. Had me laughing away my pure embarrassment by the end - a true gentleman!

Just ate our Chinese from here and thoroughly enjoyed it, chips were lovely like home made.

I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food provided, the food was barely warm, chicken balls were half the size as any other Chinese takeaway, 3 tiny duck pancake rolls for £3.50, total price was an absolute rip off for what was provided, was blamed for food being cold as waited for an extra order after being told that my order was not ready, keep well away🤮

Had to laugh here, had the worst take away ever here took it back, obviously the owner took it badly and started to say how no one ever complains etc.... Then he said to me am I certified to know good or bad chinese food! One just because you look Asian it doesn't mean your any good at cooking the food. And two its common sense as well as opinion in regards to what people do or dont like. Note, they put cheap tomatoe sauce in their food! How chinese.

Always try to stop here when I am passing. Pancake rolls are excellent.

Roast duck chow main was poor and my hot and sour soup was neither hot nor sour. Wife's kung po chicken was not bad but had better for sure. Order prepared very quick and very friendly staff there.

We regular order our Chinese from here and have done so for years. Excellent service, lovely food, and they take debit card so no need to carry cash (not credit cards though). No home delivery offered which is a shame, but worth dialing ahead and collecting because the food is very good.

Have used the Good Food Place for over five years. The food is always well cooked and filling. The staff are always keen to help especially when you want to try something different. I gladly recommend this shop for anyone who loves, English/Chinese food. I mean which Chinese shop has a mountain scene for you to look at while waiting.

I have been using this Chinese takeaway for over six years now. The place is clean and the food is always made to order. The food always tastes good. I use the place frequently so I would be able to tell if there was something wrong with the food. Another good sign to me is the place is always busy and I have used the other two Chinese takeaways in the area and I only used them once. These guys never disappoint and I always look forward to the treat. If you are looking for a decent and extremely reasonably priced takeaway then this is the place.
