Dissatisfied what I got for the price paid

Arrived in time, was lovely and hot, great portions,would highly recommend

I want a update please don’t want my review getting ignored

They forgot the cans of coke but the food was nice

The duck was just fat no meat awful

I applaud and thank Golden Garden for being the ONLY, in my experiences, to have latched on to the idea of serving crispy pineapple rings as they should be served and NOT trapped in a sealed plastic container that makes them soggy and inedible.

Really enjoyed this meal, the satay was lovely and all the meat cooked perfectly. Salt and pepper chips were also a winner! Appreciated the free prawn crackers. Arrived really fast.

I spent over £23 and didn't receive my prawn crackers

I don’t normally do this but I have to complain about the batter on the prawns it was awful it was undercooked all soggy and the prawns were hard

Used the Golden Garden for a while now, never had a bad meal. Easy on line ordering and fast delivery, 5 stars.

Bland tasteless, very disappointing never again

Food was late, luke warm and not very good quality. The shechzuan sauce was watery and I ordered fried rice but got egg fried rice. The box was a bit tasteless.

Lovely hot food , arrived on time

never had a problem with ordereds but this one I couldn't eat at all it don't know if something was out of date but the smell was off and sticky something was out of date, like I said first time ive had a problem,

The chinese arrived promptly and was exceptionally warm upon delivery. I was very impressed with the quick service and the quality of the chinese.

My family ordered from here Tuesday (4/6/24) for the 1st time and are very sorry to say its the worst Chinese meal we've had ,it tasted very bland,it certainly wasn't cooked through properly and also got to say I never seen a spring roll like this one before

Majority of order was nice but my curry sauce tasted weird and the chicken fried rice wasn’t that good.

Food was very greasy and oily. Unfortunately , one of the containers was crushed during delivery though no food was spilt. Just oil spilt everywhere in the plastic bag. My sister had to rinse off her Dr. Pepper, as it was covered in oil. Aside from that, the food was very tasty and flavourful.

Even with the mistake of our address the driver returned very quickly. The food was lovely, took a few minutes in the microwave and we were sorted. Would recommend Golden Garden to everyone. Thank you to the staff and apologies for the mix up.

I had a quarter duck pancakes and the pancakes did not taste right at all, they had a plastic chemical taste to them. The cucumber and spring onion were a but slimy, like they had been sat in a fridge for a good few days. Couldn't eat it! But the duck was quite nice. Had to throw the whole thing away, complete waste.

Worst "Crispy" aromatic duck I've had from a Chinese takeaway...£10 for finely shredded mush mixed in with mostly gloopy fat...complete opposite to crispy, the king prawn rolls where nice but overall disappointing experience ❌️👎

Food was delicious according to my sister. I enjoyed the meals too. Too many onions in the salt and pepper prawns. It was slightly less greasy than usual.

First time going here and tbh probably won't be back ordered munch box b and all in one tray chips rice noodles gravy, and was a decent portion off average food, chicken balls the batter was crispy but chicken was hard and chewy prawn crackers were stale chips tasted like they've been sat there all night delivery was around 25 mins early which made the food turning up cold all the more confusing

First time trying and sadly won't be again. Ordered Singapore chow mein which was bland and ridiculously greasy, prawns seemed like they'd been boiled and were cold and rubbery. It was inedible, what I did eat has massively upset my stomach. Chips were frozen chips and curry sauce was tasteless. Very disappointing

The Duck,(what there was of it), was tough and the spring rolls greasy though I'm not really surprised.I've yet to find any takeaway in Hartlepool that can manage to keep even an average food quality consistent.Every time I say never again I try once more.This time I mean it.Never again.

I ordered the set meal for 1 and chose the shredded beef with chilli and honey. The prawn toast looked like they had been heated up, I took one bite and didn't like it. The chicken and sweetcorn soup was very sweet? But I ate that. The spare ribs, one was all meat, the other, more gristle than meat, and the shredded beef (with egg fried rice) was okay, I've had better, but I did finish that. I'd give that a 6/10. First time trying this place, but I'd have to say, on first time ordering, I wasn't that impressed.

Ordered a munchie box, salt and pepper chicken was slimy and stringy, chips were stale and the rice had absolutely zero flavour and undercooked. Full box in the bin.

First and last time I will use gis restaurant order over an hour late all meals ruined as sweet and sour sauce was OFF !!! Not good

Went there for the first time yesterday. Rang my order in , told 5 to 10 mins , jumped in the car , then had to visit the cash machine. They only take cash. Went back in and my food was ready. Portion sizes are good, food tasted exactly as it should , red hot and the oils used to dry the rice was clearly fresh and clean. Really nice place and will use again.

The beef curry was as it should be but the beef and green peppers wasn't green peppers, it had lots of other coloured peppers in it and it was watery!!!!! The sauce should be thicker, it was like eating stock!!! you must improve on this golden garden instead of thinking about the GREED!!!!!
