Last night's delivery... Crispy shredded beef... Container half full. I ordered chips f/rice curry sauce... No curry sauce. Pinned right away but they had closed... Rice was ok though 😡

I ordered salt and pepper chips and they just tasted very salt and was over cooked had a couple and put them in the bin the spring roll was nice. My partner had egg fried rice with gravy. He got half a tray with mostly gravy.he didn't like that either. The spring rolls was medium when I asked for large ones. They was nice tho.

The food was excellent 👌 5 stars from us.

Where do I begin. First of all I ordered my food on their website only to be told only part of the order had went through!!! Secondly I went for the delivery option and had to wait an hour and food was luke warm if that. Disgraceful service will be ordering from somewhere else in future

I do not enjoy being the critical voice, but I must leave my truth. I got a set meal with so called "king prawn" cashew nuts. The prawn was tougher than beef, it was dehydrated and tasteless. Wish I got fresh prawns from Asda and added them myself. Ribs and rice were okay but prawns were absolutely awful. All in all 2/10 review.

Bought takeaway meal for two. Portion size generous but all courses tasted the same. Disappointing. First time experience but in no hury to repeat I'm afraid.

Everything is having vinegar taste. Not a fan of that. Vegies texture is nice and crispy tho.

What a place the meals were terrible Wrong order waited three hours called over fifty times to be told lies after lies.the driver came to the door didn't look happy at all gave me the wrong order it was full of water and vegetables called again after fifty times someone answered had to go threw the same thing like I did twice before honestly the meals I wouldn't have fed them to anyone so how ever meals there was for I still have them here after asking for someone to collect them asked for a refund got told 21 days 2 mini to take my money but 21 days to get them back.what a complete shambles.never again thirty pounds for water and vegetables. Eat from here for years always been good just got takeaway chips are hard a bit cold also, omelette was small hardly any chicken and overcooked only good thing from it was the spring rolls 🤬 total dissapoint defo won't b gettin from here again !!

Ordered Chicken Maryland and Sweet and Sour chicken meal deal. Chicken was so tough and tasteless and sweet and sour sauce was like water . Used to eat here all the time ….never again.

Terrible! 2 hour wait for delivery, order was incorrect, several phone calls did not resolve, was kept hanging on phone being ignored for 20 minutes, then they hung up!! had to take food back personally at 10:30pm!! Night ruined. Never again. This is not the Golden Wok we knew and loved 😡

Quick delivery, good food but 2 points, need to calm down on the onions in your curry, I mean I like onion but I asked for a chicken curry not an onion curry. My banana fritter was still raw and couldn't eat it but that's just down to not cooking it long enough 🤷‍♂️. Overall good food, not greasy and I will be back 😄.

Bought a munchie box and it’s was just so salty, I felt it was over cooked, I know it’s deep fried but it was just so saturated. The majority of the box went in the bin. Quick delivery and polite driver. Chips were ok but not a good first experience.

Blocked me from reordering for them,for not delivering the right food.. No rice to have with the curry. Watch the amount of white pepper in the Hot and Sour soup! Way to peppery. Had to leave half of it. The rest was fine. Salt and pepper squid and large spring rolls. Not sure the spring rolls were homemade like other Chinese in the area but they tasted nice and were well cooked.

Ordered meal at 19.30 and by 21.50pm was still not here and it only 5min away from. Shocking, had to cancel my order, because I was fed up of wait for that long.

Use the set meal regularly. Always good and plenty for a good price.

Booked meal online at 5.30pm tonight. One half hours later still no delivery. Called and was told another 30 minutes. 7.50pm meal arrived and it was terrible. I had chicken chow mein which was oily. The delivery driver apologised said my order was made wrong. Thats why it took so long however after I had called I was not told this. Will not be orderin from here again

Dreadful Food excellent when you get the right order

A full meal in the bin. The chicken and sweetcorn was full of huge chunks of garlic, couldnt eat it. The noodles were dry and hard. The crab was dry and rubbery and the prawn crackers just so greasy.

Delivery time is way over the hr even mid week.

Not a good black bean sauce, prawn crackers were missing from order, arrived, but too late to enjoy, boiled rice was stodgy like mashed potatoes with lumps. Sorry

The food wasnt golden like it says in the name, i believe they hold little girls hostage in their basement as i often hear screaming and people trying to run away. They don't even know how to serve people as they are too busy in the basement which is a coincidence.Won't be back would rather die

After being lied to 3 times on the phone about the progress of our order the food, when it finally arrived, was binned. Not sure if this was due to the quality of the offerings or when finally sitting down to a much anticipated family dinner at 10.20 the edge had gone from our appetites. Worst takeaway ever and would never order again.

Woukd want to give higher as if cookes right would be amazing, tonight reheated everything. Complained abput this before so thought it would have been took on board.. Ah well.. Hope the next ones better!

Placed an order and it got cancelled and this has now happened the second time Then I phoned up and the person I was talking to had no idea what he was doing and did not speak any good English to understand me I was a very regular customer here and the customer service is very poor but the food is 10/10 so this is ashame I won’t not longer return here.

Terrible service we phoned to see how long it would be after an hour and they said they were JUST about to start cooking ours! Two hours have passed now still NOTHING ! We paid online too otherwise I would tell the driver to take it back ! Shocking won’t be back here

I ordered chicken curry and chips and chicken curry and rice arrived. I had to call and half hour later they sent out chips. My curry was cold and they refused to send chips and curry. Not good customer service.

Very disappointing experience to say the least. This can be seen by the photos. A lump of jelly in the soup and who knows what the curry is supposed to be. It tasted like a bottle of soy sauce in rice.

Ordered food at 6.17pm it's now 7.50pm phoned to see where order was. I was informed it still hasn't left the restaurant!!! It finally arrived at 8.10pm too long won't be ordering again...

Used to use this place all the time. It was the best chinese place near me on Scoffable and so it was easy enough to order the fairly basic stuff that I wanted. Chicken curry and chips kinda thing, chicken fried rice... then one week quite recently we ordered and the stuff took an age to arrive - okay, people get busy we thought. But then when it did arrive the cartons were bashed and the chips were cold. Called to let them know it wasn't great - they offered me 10% off next order. I declined this - I just wanted them to know it wasn't the best service. Skip to last night and my daughter has the chicken fried rice again - only this time she ends up with a sore head, vomiting and all. She ate nothing else and these symptoms appeared right in the window for food poisoning. They offered us a free meal - we declined.

Its a lucky dip the meals from here no consistency at all its good great then rotten then bad then nice. But that is what happens with high staff turnover they just come and go with on 2 people always there but they dont cook probably all innocent in a nice town like bathgate

10/10. Read all reviews beforehand and was sceptical of ordering. Ordered at 4:05pm and it arrived by 4:50pm. Food all looks, smells, tastes great! Been disappointed by all Chinese’s in bathgate so far but we will definitely be sticking with this one from now on!

Just to let you all know I spent a night in St. John’s hospital last night with severe food poisoning from the chicken meal I received Thursday evening! My daughter and husband took a little of my meal and both are now ill! I am taking this further and believe me I won’t rest until you are closed down! Your shop is filthy and should be closed. I have never been so ill in my entire life and needed hospital treatment due to your filth and disregard to peoples health!!!

Called in for carry out to save me cooking for myself. Girl at the reception area really nice and polite and helpful, stood and waited whilst my meal was prepared and watching the kitchen in action didn’t fill me with a warm feeling, 3 cooks with woks and a further gentleman putting the food into bags for delivery, not one cooks apron or hairnet or whites amongst them, just jeans, t- shirts and baseball caps. Then watched as a carton of food was removed from the fridge and the cook literally sniffed it - I was glad it was not an ingredient to be used in mine! Delivery driver then arrived and proceeded straight into the kitchen area. I kind of suspect the hygiene here!!! As it happens the food was tasty though I’d been put off by then so didn’t finish it. If you’re ordering do yourself a favour and have it delivered at least you’ll not witness the preparation

Received an email saying the order was accepted however the food never arrived. I called the restaurant and they claimed to never received the order. Very disappointing, my child was looking forward to this all day to be treated like this.

Great service only complaint is that the meat in the fried rice and chow mein dishes have been quite dry the past couple of orders.

Best Chinese takeaway in Bathgate area by far.

Food was soggy and not very warm. Chips were stale and clearly reheated from an earlier time as so soggy and discoloured. All the starters were soggy and the chicken was horrendous. Ribs were tough and not pleasant. Most of it went in the bin. What a waste of money!

Was advised the order would be 50 minutes then the restaurant added 30 minutes onto that time and still delivered it another 15 minutes later than that. Usually good service but this is second time in a row this has happened now. Food was ok, not great.

I usually opt for collection but decided for delivery this evening. Prior to ordering I had difficulties with the online app and finding certain items and called the store directly for help. The lady who handled my call was very friendly, very helpful and even managed to have a few minutes chat whilst she input my order on her system and her help is very much appreciated as it’s my first time using the Just Eat app as I’d normally order over the phone or in store so top marks for customer service and assistance with my order, outstanding! The food is absolutely delicious, it arrived piping hot and was met by a really nice driver. Thanks very much!

ordered a banana fritters and it was pure black and tasted disgusting, chicken curry was like water, only thing that was half decent was the chow mien and even that was cold by the time it came, usually order from here all the time but won’t be back after tonight.

I ordered about 7.30 and got an email to say it would be delivered at 8.40. At 9 I phoned restaurant and was told the delivery had just left and was on its way. It never actually arrived till just after 9.40. Two hours from order to delivery is just not good enough and then to top it off the food wasn’t even hot. It was luke warm. Very disappointed and this is the 2nd time this has happened. I won’t be ordering from you again.

Ordered delivery, used this place a couple of times now, each time they seem to get slower at delivery. Food is pretty average, certainly not worth a 1-2 hour wait though.

The food was lovely and really enjoyed it. It was supposed to arrive at 6.10 but actually appeared a full hour early. Don't mind a few minutes but a full hour was unacceptable.
