Golden Wok in Wiltshire

Ordered a takeaway from here yesterday and had food missing from my order not happy as we payed nearly 40 pounds for everything they should be checking before it goes out for delivery

Not good, reheated chicken ball not hot, chilli beef was mostly sauce, perhaps a bad day but, second time we've been disappointed. won't be back.

Super Chinese, with incredible prices I was sure they had missed something of our order as the bill was only £24 but everything was in place.... Will for sure be going there again next time I am staying in Trowbridge

Food was good ,but not great. Would use again.

Just ordered from there this evening, really disappointing Chinese takeaway wouldn’t be ordering from there again. My prawn on toast was burnt and the shrimp in fried rice tasted really odd. If I could I would give half a star

Terrible customer service. Went to pay and informed you must spend over £15 to be able to use your card. So they will not have my business again. A wasted journey.

Very disappointed! Most of the food went straight in the bin ... not good tonight at all.

Food was vile chips were over cooked Rice was not edible sauce was vile chicken was to hard nearly choked on it beef was to hard very disappointed ☹️

It's not a bad place to eat but there are plenty of Chinese takeaway places you have to be really great and make yourself stick out to be noticed in town. It's better than the worst Chinese here but not quite the top of the list, hence 3 stars. My rating is not an indication or reference to the quality of the food here because it is a great place with a wide selection and very good food, it's just not, in my opinion, the best that town has to offer 😀

Rang for delivery... hoped to pay by card ... the person on the phone said sorry we only accept card payments on the weekend!! You ether take card or you don't 😤

This is the second time this has happened. I am deathly allergic to prawns. Ordered chicken curry and chicken balls. They gave us prawn curry and prawn balls. Absolutely disgusting. If I hadn’t have noticed I could have been in hospital by now. And then they conveniently closed an hour and a half early, won’t answer the phone. They could have killed me. Avoid if you have allergies as they clearly don’t care.

Had a bad experience with this place,but friends rate it,each to their own.

Food ordered and ready in 5 mins. Piping hot and really tasty. Highly recommend!

Food is usually good, however delivery is way off. Told 40 minutes and an hour and a half later we are still waiting. This has been getting progressively worse. Very unimpressed.

Just had a delivery 3 meals phoned today at 5 pm delivered 5 30 to Westwood meals super pipping hot a d delicious would recommend them never had a bad meal thank you golden wok

Unfortunately I cannot give No Stars ? Ordered Takeaway from Golden Wok. Arrived over 1/2hr late, food was barely warm, and had obviously been kept warm or possibly warmed up or microwaved !! Definitely would not order any food again!!!

Used this place for years, but recently the quality of the food has fallen off and often arrives cold, won't be using again. Shame.

I thought this place was really good. Fair portions of tasty food. Reasonably priced. I would also say that we ordered several spicy dishes and these were actually very spicy, which was great. One was slightly more watery than i would have liked but minor issue. Personally dont eat meat so i would have loved to have ordered a bean curd dish but they dont do any. Many there is no call for it but no places in Trowbridge seem to do it so might be worth a try. Will definitely be my go to takeaway for that sort of food from now on.

By far the best Chinese food I've experienced in the local area. The owner and his wife are very friendly. Very reasonable prices too.

Very nice food and plenty of it....after a days graft painting and decorating it hit the spot....

Waited an hour when we advised we could collect in half an hour! The food wasn’t great tbh and definitely not worth the wait, salt and pepper chips tasted like normal chips. Complete waste of money.

I don’t now how anyone can say it’s tge best around when I ordered fried rice and ribs and both dishes seemed microwaved and had a thick layer of slime won’t be going there again

OK, large portions and quite tasty

Good food for reasonable cost. When we popped in to get a take out for dinner the place was very busy so we expected to wait a while but in the event it was only twenty minutes or so. Have to give a shout out to the young girl on the reception counter (they all look young to me) she was a demon of multi tasking, running the phone and all the customers in the place without so much as a fluster. It was a joy to behold. Oh and the food really was great too

Had a less enjoyable meal from here recently but still hands down was better than any other chinese in trowbridge I would have given 5 stars if they stocked rice noodles as an alternative like almost all chinese takeaways do

Wow the best chow mein I've ever had. Super friendly people and best chinese around by far. Cannot recommend enough!

Little portion. No vegetables at all. Only onion. My husband's ginger chicken had basicly just chicken, ginger and onion in it! The same was with sweet chicken, loots of onion. Was hot and cheap. That's it. Apart of that haven't had good experience at all.

Clean take away and quick friendly service. Been twice now and the food was great both times

In my opinion this is the best Chinese takeaway in Trowbridge, beautiful food well-prepared, take the chicken curry for instance,it is purely only made from chicken breast, these guys serve up the best. If you are looking for quality at a great price, look no further! Real friendly family service too...well done guys👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽😊

We had our first takeaway from here last week. We had a lovely meal and are ordering again this weekend.

I ordered sesame prawn toast and a chow mein last week and it was all cooked to a good standard, food was piping hot and it was all really tasty.

Food hygiene rating recently downgraded to a 1, "Major Improvement necessary". In light of this I don't go here anymore.

Place looks clean and is friendly items appeared to be microwaved as opposed to cook it all comes in plastic containers looks like pre-frozen

Thought I'd try this place for a change. Walked there and the shop from was closed and in darkness. Although I could see people in the kitchen. This was at 1930 on a Thursday evening!

Rubbish food, curry sauce ok at best, terrible customer service.
