Golden Swan Chinese Takeaway in Swansea

Absolutely awful sweet and sour sauce taste like vinegar had a free hair in it too . Chips wasn’t cool right either . This is 2nd time I hadn’t enjoyed won’t be going here again

Well… I’m not normally left speechless but let me tell you this, I have been this evening. My friends and I spent £50 on the meal for 3 and and patiently waited… the hour and 10 minutes delivery time. I’m not sure if the cook was out trying to catch the food but if he had, I could only imagine he gave up on chasing the ducks and settled for the sizeable rats running around in the bin store. If I’m mistaken then I couldn’t even hazard a guess on what meat we were served. But I wish the meat was the worst part :’(. The sauce had been watered down beyond belief and the noodles were bone dry! Never been left feeing so saddened in my life, that be it since the passing my my pet dog Charlie. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE #metoo

Waited 2 hours for this to be delivered when it finally arrived the curry was thick and curdled had to throw it all would never order here again

Ordered a takeaway from here, which was 4 miles away but took an hour to get to us. It was awful, I couldn't finish it. The chips tasted like they were cooked yesterday and reheated. The spring rolls weren't cooked enough. And the Chinese curry was dry, considering it was in a sauce! It was awful and not worth the money.

Just ordered from here and my food come to six pound when the the delivery guy come with the food he refused to give it too me because I had change an not a note.

Always a pleasure to eat from here!

Ordered a sauce but had a second dupicate sauce instead of a syrup to go with my banana fritter so ended up having to fork out a fiver up the local shop for some syrup! Not good enough

Golden Swan makes some really nice dishes, and tonight their won-ton soup is a much needed blessing. Not only is it delicious, but will soothe my throat, and help keep me hydrated, as I am under the weather at the moment. Thanks Golden Swan for your quick and efficient service and delivery!

The reason I order a takeaway is to have I delivered to my door. Never been an issue before when ordering here. But getting a phone call to say the order is waiting outside is not good service. Not having to walk down the block of flats to collect it

Food is always good. Delivery people need to pay more attention reading requests, as I always ask for them to ring the bottom bell! 1 out of 4 do!

After leaving a message for the takeaway to not forget the prawn crackers as they had done on the delivery before again they didn't send them and this spoiled the meal as it's not the same without them and we order 2 to 3 times a week from just eat and have never complaint before

Chips seemed like they were cooked yesterday then reheated, the ones that were edible were disgusting Will have to look for a new favourite Chinese restraunt

Food and delivery is normally amazing however on this occasion the food was 40 minutes late. Some of the food had tipped and there was a sauce missing. To top it all the food was not great. I'm very disappointed this time.

Deep Fried Shredded Chicken with Carrot in Chilli was just Batter in Chilli, ordered and payed for 2 popadoms which never arrived, rung takeaway only to be Abruptly told popadoms not included on orders under £10, after a bit of a row and getting him to realise i had paid for them he eventually admitted his error and brought them to me, wish he had not bothered, Got over cooked inedible pieces of rubbish fit for the bin, Beef curry well that's what i thought i ordered still trying to work out what meat was actually in the curry as it was definitely not beef, Fried rice did look like rice (lol) but was hard and very dry with a powdery texture. Will not be going back to this takeaway ever. Thank you Golden Swan for the worst Chinese food i have ever tasted.

Very fussy but this was lovely, and delivery service was on time. Only minor complaint sweet & sour was a bit vinegary my partner said. But over all will order again!

Arrived 25 minutes early, good and quick service would recommend! :D

Lovely food, delivery always in the stated time

We ordered meals in a tray which consisted of half rice and chips with a sauce. When they arrived there were hardly any chips and the sauce was non existent. The rice was dry and for what I paid for it the meal was substandard I can honestly say from ordering from them regularly I will never order from them again

Food took over an hour and a half to arrive. The chicken cow main was nice and the rice and curry but the chips were awful.

Delivery a little late but only by 10 minutes.. also checked the food hygiene rating (after ordering) seen was a 1 couldn't cancel!!

Rice was really really dry and horrible

Staff were lovely and accommodating but the food was really dry and tasteless. It's sorry to see such a once reputable restaurant's standards slip so much. Wouldn't order again.

The dumplings and the beancurd & sweetcorn soup were delicious, but the chicken crispy noodle was disappointing, especially since the noodles weren't at all crispy, and the oyster sauce had spilled out onto the paper bag as well as perhaps absorbed into the noodles, although they didn't taste like oyster sauce. So, I wouldn't order that dish again, but I would order the dumplings and the soup.

Food was positively delightful and pleantyfull, delivery driver was very pleasant would defiantly buy food here again.

Order from here all the time but this time delivery was late and food was VERY dry, couldn't eat it.

The worse Won Ton's in history, the filling was either not there at all - or the smallest slither possible, what a terrible excuse for Won Ton's. Alongside the smallest Pancake Roll that was very greasy. Very disappointed as I used to really enjoy my takeaways from the Golden Swan.

Stale chips overall quality is poor

Ordered at 9:18pm. Estimated delivery time of 10:05pm. It's now 10:34pm and still no sign of food. I'm going to bed and, I swear to god, if they wake me up with my food it's all kicking off. Never again.

The vegetarian spring rolls were meat spring rolls, hence if somebody was a strict vegetarian it could've been very bad!

ordered it to come at 7pm so we would all be home to eat together, yet it arrived at 6:05. pretty annoying. than food was pretty bland, chips were absolutely dire, stale and cold leftovers i think.

Unknown , order hasn't arrived! Understand its a busy Saturday but 2 hours late when its 2 minute drive away.....

Food was an hour late and took an hour and 50 minuets to get to us. The food itself was nice but was cold when it finally got to us. The satay sauce however was vile and went straight in the bin as it was extremely watered down and had no taste to it.

Avoid satay sauce. Seemed to be have been watered down so resembled watery tasteless soup!

Never tried here before so was anxious but i was pleasantly suprised! Food was very tasty and I kept seeing other reviews saying food was delivered hot... which I thought was odd but when I had the delivery the food was actually still very hot and fresh which was brilliant and rare sometimes in deliverys! So yeah very tasty food no complaints at all. Recommend this place highly! A*

Ordered curry specified no onions came with over 30pieces of onions, tried contacting due to partners alergy couldnt get answer assum was shut. Tad slow on delivery

The meal was wonderful taste and presentation one issue when i ordered ribs thats what i expected not small knuckles with hardly any meat didnt enjoy them the sauce being peking was great but a rib is long and meaty thats how i buy them dissapointed
