Always busy - I have pretty much the same thing 10 years straight...meal for one ..sometimes chicken & cashew nuts or if I am poorly I tend to crave chicken & sweetcorn soup or wanton soup. We recently went somewhere else as it was closed and got 10 chicken balls ..but it was pretty awful ..portion size isn't everything ...so not changing to anyone different ..rather wait to get my favourite dinner :)

Ordered takeaway and a fairly large order came within 30 minutes as promised, from a wonderfully friendly staff member! The food was amazing, fresh, rich, and so well made. Think we've found our new local!

Hands down , the best takeaway Chinese i have ever had, probably our 6th or 7th now, every time it turns up piping hot and the flavours are great. Will not go anywhere else. Delivery service is always polite .

Really quick service, really nice food. We used Golden Sunrise for a Saturday night takeaway. The most daunting part was trying to identify what we wanted from a VERY lengthy menu. The menu covers all the common favourites and so much more and branches out to include Thai & some other influences. When phoning the order through, we got through with little challenge. When we drove over 10-15 minutes later, the welcome was warm and the food was ready and waiting for us. Great service. The food did not disappoint & was enjoyed by all. Will happily use again.

Delivered on time, piping hot. Set Meal for 2 was enough for 3 people. Food tasted really good + leftovers for lunch today - bonus!

Absolutely amazing food!! No lie about that at all Great prices for the quantity and quality of food you get! They remember your address when calling so you can order your food quickly and can order online if you can't get through on the phone. Fast delivery times and never had a problem with my order in the 8 years I've been going Would recommend this place more than the others in Rushden.

This is now our go-to takeaway! We order online and I really like that they give you an estimated delivery time which is often very accurate. We've tried many chinese takeaways around Rushden and this far exceeds anyone else. It is well-cooked and piping hot the majority of times we order. They are very reasonably priced for their generous portion sizes. One bad experience here shouldn't put you off ordering again as they always redeem themselves.

Had bbq spare ribs could find any meat very poor

Love the food, but they take an eternity to deliver. Waited an hour and a half to then be told they was waiting for a driver to bring the food.

Food is always good here but the biggest problem is the delivery time. If it is going to be an hour & it is, great. If is going to be an hour & 1/2 again fine, at least I know. But am getting really fed up with being told a time & it turns up an hour late. Appreciate they may be busy but please please please be honest if they want to keep me as a regular customer....

The food has been OK in the past but have to worry of the hygiene by being a cash only takeaway during a pandemic! How many people handle cash and spread germs, for the young staff who handle the cash then hand over your food. There are not many reasons in this day in age to not be able to accept card payments (again especially during a pandemic) unless its to avoid tax which would be immensely irresponsible to spread this virus more than necessary to save a few pounds.

First time ordering from here and the food was amazing. Lovely service and delivery was with a smile. Would 10/10 recommend!

We are new to the area and this is quite local. I phoned through an order and was told 10 to 15 minutes. I elected to collect and, sure enough the food was ready and waiting 15 minutes later. It was hot, well cooked and the portions were generous. Given how reasonably-priced they are, this will most definitely be repeated!

Ive ordered all sort of combinations from here and have been a regular customer for quite a while now highly recommend there salt and chilli chicken and the sweet and sour chicken balls but anything you order you will enjoy. Only bad thing ive had a couple of beef chow meins where the meat was like an.old.boot but apart from that over 3 years can't complain

Tried the Golden Sunrise for the 1st time last night. I had chicken vermicelli with vegetables. Ate the lot, very tasty & hot. The service was very quick also and the person serving, polite & courteous. The price was also good. What more could you ask for?

Been using them for a couple of months. Service and food had always been great up until today. 90minute wait on a collection order, only to get food home and chicken pink and raw inside. Wouldn’t usually leave a negative review but raw poultry is just a huge no-no! Keep your customers informed of delays - and double check your food going out!

Good quality food always tasty, hot and cooked really well. Delivery is always rather quick as well. I wouldn't order from any other chinese takeaway now.

The only place I get my egg fried rice and chow mein from and its always the tastiest takeaway I have. Costumer service is good and food is always hot.

Quite a large menu to choose from and some different dishes that are not as common. Always cooked well, lady on front desk taking orders is very efficient

Tried these last year and havnt looked back. They know you when you cal them,large portions in re-usable containers,free prawn crackers over £10 order and the same but with spring rolls for over £20. The food is beyond excellence,never had any problems,its hot when it arrives and oh so tasty. Please try them,you wont be dissappointed.

I don’t think we’ve ever had a bad takeaway from here. Service usually very quick. We always collect, so not sure how long to wait if you want delivery. Always tasty, good portion sizes, and hot food. Reasonably and comparably priced. I wouldn’t risk going to an alternative Chinese, especially after a recent awful dinner from a nearby competitor.

Love this place,food is always good. Only ever had one problem with the order which was soon sorted out. Plenty of parking.

Food is alright but they don't like to take card payments so best to make sure you have the cash ready.

The best Chinese around never disappointed food so tasty and very good portions spare ribs sezcwan style absolutely delicious just see the portion and the meat on them and the sezcwan sauce is delicious try the house special fried rice and the stewed beef green pepper and black bean sauce along with the roast beef chinese style wow! its a 10 from Josie!!!!

Quality customer service is urgently required in this establishment. Interaction, friendliness and being polite are fundementaly missing.

Almost a two hour wait. Chips looked and tasted reheated but were still cold along with the rest of the order. The guy on the phone was rude and said we were lying... we use this place almost every week never been a problem up until now. Terrible way to treat returning customers.

Why haven’t I found this before ! A menu was dropped through my door and I noticed they did salt & chilli chips, don’t usually see that round our way, so gave them a go Everything we ordered was so good and massive portions The chefs soeviak is very hot but lovely

Use this regularly (every couple of weeks, for several years!) - a fairly extensive selection of Veggie food, and have never had a duff meal from there. Food is also usually prepared quickly and of a good standard. Online ordering system is handy, and they offer home delivery too. Makes it very convenient.

Great local takeaway offering good food and delivery service. Cannot order online and seems to prefers cash on delivery.

we used to live just round the corner so we used golden sunrise as it was convenient but also because it is by far the best.we have tried different Chinese takeaways but none of them stack up to the golden sunrise.we have recommended this takeaway to several people and they all agree it is the best.

Golden Sunrise offers really good food at decent prices.They offer a delivery service and are quite prompt also.We have ordered from here recently and our food,i had the special fried rice with chicken curry and spare ribs were all excellent and reasonably priced...we have had ribs from other restaurants which were both chewy and fatty.Decent portion sizes and good service as well as decent tasty food make this particular takeaway my favourite.Visited Oct 2017.

The food is nice and good value for money, however the customer service needs improving. I placed my usual order, collected it, when I got home I discovered the order they packaged and gave to me was incorrect. I called them up and asked them to deliver me the correct order. They said they where to busy to deliver to me. They did offer me a free meal for my next visit, but they refused to fix their mistake.

Would not use any other Chinese takeaway - great food, good size portions & always speedy delivery!

This is now my go-to Chinese takeaway. The food is incredible and we've always had great service. Speed of delivery is great too, rarely waiting longer than 20-30 minutes for it to get to my front door, even at peak times on weekends!

Good food, little pricey but the service and quality is worth it.
