Absolutely delicious food with generous portions! The Kung Pao Chicken was full of authentic flavor—just like real Chinese home cooking. Delivery was fast and the food arrived hot and fresh. Friendly service and great value for money. Highly recommend this place to anyone craving proper Chinese food!

We didn't receive two of the items we ordered: the Thai Stir Fry and Dry noodles. The rest was tasty though

Our new favourite Chinese! Food is always on time and hot, and more importantly we haven’t had a dish that isn’t delicious! Will be ordering again……..and again………and again!

Food was lukewarm/cold. Salt and pepper prawns batter was extremely thick, mushrooms in the curry were just barely cooked, the curry was very watered down, lukewarm and tasted very powdery. We normally order from here when we have Chinese, but we were thoroughly didisappointed tonight by the food delivered.

Chicken curry very orange in colour not very nice. Bbq ribs meaty but flavour not bbq very tasteless delivery 20 minutes later despite presetting delivery time would not order again.

Totally unacceptable to be 45 mins late on a pre order made at 5 o'clock! Rang to ask where it was when it was 25 mins late and driver said 5 mins away.....no he wasn't! Another 20 mins! Food was nice but could have been hotter. Good job we didn't have plans for a certain time!

We used to use this restaurant regularly, but it seems there has been changes and not for the better. Prices have increased, portion sizes have decreased. The worst thing seems to be the quality has fallen tremendously. The food was heavily salted, so much so some was inedible. The sauces (hoisin and sweet and sour) are watery and expensive. All in all we were very disappointed with our last order and will not be making anymore. Poor quality, smaller portions and high prices, not value at all.

I found that the menu prices were too high. For a takeaway in Raunds which is not a very nice place very scruffy area with a population of mainly lower working class people, I have ordered here before and the food was good, but the prices doubled in the last 2 years, I could eat in a restaurant for that price and have no washing up to do and enjoying the ambiance of eating with other people.

Food was nowhere near its normal standard it was all very dry and chewy and the chips were very crispy and bit of a burnt taste. Normally really good food hoping it was an off night for them.

Never found a better Chinese had the house special chow mein and it’s always hot and the meat is nice and soft and tender couldn’t recommend more

The food was lovely as usual but I am going to be trying other local Chinese. The delivery fee is far too high with the additional service charges and high minimum order. I used to order weekly but the cost of the meal has also increased massively.

Delivery was 45 minutes late - almost 2 hours after ordering. Saw the reviews warning this but hoped for the best. Was lied to by the restaurant when I called. Then again by the driver. Food was okay - not worth the wait. Won't order from here again.

I ordered over £100 worth of food and it was money well spent. I ordered chicken chow mein, Singapore noodles, Thai red beef, curry, salt and pepper, chicken salt and pepper, chicken wings, salt, pepper chips, chicken and black bean sauce spare ribs Singapore fried rice, egg fried rice everybody really enjoyed it. Service was quick and efficient I would recommend ordering from here.

Ordered via Just Eat App. Food took 1hr 45mins to arrive. Chased via app and had no reply, rang twice and had no answer. Food arrived cold and with incorrect items. Requested refund and was told “we were busy” Will not order again. Terrible service all round and the food was average.

Food was very disappointing. I always order from golden Palace as its always been lovely but today was terrible. No colour in anything. My 'special' chowmein was simply plain chowmein with two shrimps and a couple peices of chicken. The sweet and sour sauce was flavoured water and not its usual vibrant thick consistency. Salt and pepper squid was more or less tasteless. Very disappointed.

Lovely food and piping hot so no it was fresh, was few mins later than estimated but I guess being a Saturday was to be expected. Will definitely use again and can recommend too

It was New Year’s Eve - it was to be expected that there could be some delay. The driver apologised as soon as I came to the door - he was very friendly and politely shared the apology. The food tasted great / was warm and delicious.

18/11/23..just had a brilliant Takeaway from The Golden Palace it was tasty ,hot brilliantly seasoned and each individual dish tasted different... sometimes it's all a bit samey...if it was meant to be crispy it was ...I was full but couldn't stop eating...we ordered meal for 2 , chicken Kung po( and chips for my son ,he said they were great as well)...great meal ,thanks guys

To cut a long story short-it was OK. I enjoyed the chicken chow mien. I still think the Hong Kong Chinese Takeaway (Higham Ferrers) is one of the best in the area.

Usually give 5 stars as food is amazing , but not today unfortunately…. Chicken was chewy and inedible in the sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style and king po chicken. Everything else was lovely but chicken ruined the meal and was thrown away , waste,…….
