Golden Sky in Dundee City

Usually love this place but nope the gravy and sweet and sour sauce was really salty taste and the chicken maryland was well over cooked :(

Raging. Just spent 50 on a Chinese. It was burnt dry and disgusting. I have bought from here regularly and spend a few quid every time. Called up as for food to be replaced or refunded to be told no. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!

Food was poor, prices were a joke 3 quid for 1.5 litre bottle of juice, curry sauce portion too small and what Chinese doesn't give free prawn crackers with order over 15 quid

Tried a few Chinese takeaways over the years and mostly been disappointed. We've just finished our 3rd meal from The Golden Sky and can safely say the delicious food we had the first two times has continued. Excellent choice, very tasty with good portions, friendly staff and well priced. Won't be going elsewhere! Thabk you.

Favourite take away ever my family orders from it every Saturday its just that good the staff are friendly 👌🏼 and there chicken noodels and chips are to die for.

Ordered chicken balls and they were very chewy. I head shocked when I took the butter off. The “chicken” was brown, dry and looked old. Photo says it all… whoever made this should lose their job immediately…

Tonight i got food from golden sky, all the food was hot and very nice. the only thing was a problem that they over salted gravy and soup. if they didnt everything would be prefect. the staff are very friendly. i give it a go again.they need to cut the salt.

Not normally my go2 but Neighbours Kitchen is closed on a Wednesday. It's safe to say I won't be ordering from here again. The chicken ball batter was tough and chewy, the rice was dark brown and tasted nothing like the fried rice I'm used to, they forgot a couple of extras and the sweet&sour sauce was more bitter than sweet. Maybe its just a bad day for them but I defo won't be spending any more money here, I'd rather cook which is what I ended up doing. Save yer money and go somewhere else.

Currys are to salty they need to lighten up on the salt I couldn't eat curry I ordered, after 2 forkfuls had to bin it I have enough sodium in my system without having more being added and raising my blood pressure or having a stroke.

Love this Chinese won't go anywhere else now.

Ordered at 510pm delivery at 7pm, hour and a half later than was told. It was cold and awfull. Never again...

Class Chinese took a while to come but it was a Saturday night so don’t mind

I'm really, really annoyed. I love the munchie boxes and the other food from this place, however, tonight's meal just didn't cut it. I would never leave a bad review based on one bad experience out of so many good ones but it was the attitude when I called to complain about the portion size. Normally the box comfortably feeds three but tonight it was really poor and all they could say was that I got the normal portion size. Well it was definitely not a patch on the other five munchie boxes I have had and for the sake of a few chips they have lost a customer. Really disappointed.

Ordered tonight for the 1st time food was amazing and delivery driver lovely 10s all round

Order at tea time or don’t bother to order at all. I ordered later than I normally would, around 9pm. They sent me hollow, dry chips. The portion, of which, was also a much smaller portion than I’ve received in the past. The chicken was like chewing gum. The egg fried rice was burnt. The only edible thing out of my £18 order was the free prawn crackers. Shockingly low quality food, don’t waste your money.

Yummy food every time we have had a takeaway. We will definitely be back.

Had a munchie box which couldnt be eaten as it was far too nippy with chilli flakes or something no taste just nippy.Abs vile would not be recommending u.Waste of 18 pounds dont even deserve 1 star

Read good reviews of golden sky so ordered delivery of 1 chicken and 1 beef in black bean sauce. One of the biggest mistakes I've made. The sauce was just a thick gloop of soy sauce . The chicken still had the stringy bits that are usually cut out and the rice was stodgy and bland. Can't answer for their other dishes but you pays your money and you takes your chances.

Great service but the counter staff were more interested in talking about their night out to each other rather than serving customers
