Deewon Takeaway in Dundee City

Got a message saying food was on way , this normally takes 5 mins as I’m only a short distance from the shop , it took a further 20 mins .. got manager on phone who was disinterested just kept repeating driver on his way , food warming

ohio burger.... great burger as always. But you used to get 4 bits of pepperoni on it which i thought was a bit stingy. This time i only got 3 bits of pepperoni. the stingy amounts of pepperoni should be doubled or tripled.

naan bread wasn't burnt was pure white..there was more veg ..only few bits off meat especially for the price ..be great if u love veg

Oder placed before 7pm and failed to arrive by 8.30pm. After complaint order finally came at 9.15pm. Although the food was v. good and the delivery person was very nice. It was a very lengthy delay and not the normal efficient service we are use to.

Never usually a bad order from here but tonight was unbelievable pepperoni pizza was charcoal on the top separate salad for my kebab was brown definitely wasn’t fresh! And garlic mayo tasted a bit off

Well deewons has always been our chip and kebab takeaway, so much the driver knows us and our daughter even though different addresses...tonight was an easy order even our 4 year old grandson could get it right ..... But not deewons apparently... A large kebab with salad and chips ...... Easy yes ? ...... So the driver arrives .... No chips ... Ok let's take the cost off the order , I pay .... So no chips not a big deal looking forward to my kebab and salad ..... Says salad on the packet on the front ... Smells good .... Open and just kebab meat .... Really ..... Htf can you get it wrong .... Your shop is the size of my kitchen everything is to hand .... If you weren't so concerned doing just eat etc you would get your bloody full paying customers orders right .... But the best bit ,the best bit I was going to let the chips slide but no salad so I rang to say most of the food was missing the accompanying bits ok he says I'll send out ... No biggy I'll put the meat in the air fryer when they arrive.... Sat back expecting it to be about an HR I'm not an arsehole ..... They had the cheek to ring back and say they are not delivering it just for a salad .... I would have paid the extra for the chips etc ... The drivers a nice guy ... But no that was my last ever order from deewons ....

Food was barely luckwarm by the time it arrived.

When k got my wrap the eges of my wrap were burnt and crispy wrap was okay but no cheese on the wrap

Friendly, fast and fantastic food. Mixed Kebab was one of the best I've had in many years. Doner was tasty, nit greasy. Chicken and the lamb were well marinated and lightly spiced, couple of soft pittas and a bit of salad and some chilli sauce that is far superior to the average watery tomato gloop. Feeds 2.

when I order a baked potato I expect to have a baked potato in my order and not receive boiled potato cut into squares baked and boiled are too completely different things to me was really annoyed when I got my order. but just for people who order a baked potato it isn't baked its either boiled or microwaved.

Ordered a mixed kebab(donner,chicken,lamb)only got donner.meant to have 2 pitta bread with it only got 1.

The food from here is 10/10 everytime .

it was all salad with about 10 pieces of lamb and no kofta.

Atmosphere was really good, good crack an all, but food had small curly black hair in it as if from armpit or another sweaty region. Did put me off a bit, not sure if will revisit or not, as food tasted good up to the point of finding the hair. Maybe just a one in a million chance of finding a hair in food, maybe just bad luck.

The chips were over cooked couldn’t eat them. The kebab was hard. I want a refund

Well worth the wee wait absolutely lovely as always best lamb shish and chip mixed kebab hubby loves well done guys love your korma sauce as dina like spicy stuff suits me.

Ordered and forgot to put on the notes for stuff separate so called the shop two minutes later to be told that my food was done then to wait another 25 minutes for it to be freezing cold I live 1 minute away from shop so clearly be left sitting out well they just lost my custom

Kebab was very dry its like it was left sitting for ages! Was all dried up also found a hair in my kebab chips and curry sauce were like they were reheated multiple times then left! Waited forever on delivery! Has to reheat food when arrived but once I tasted and found the hair was all put straight in the bin! Got recommended this place and deffinetly won't be back will stick to what I know from now, worst place ever 🤢🤢

Ordered Chips & Doner, something very simple and easy. Unfortunately chips arrived very soggy and cold. The Doner was nice and warm at least, but the chips were terrible. Standards shouldn't drop just because the order was placed in the evening. Food shouldn't be arriving cold, especially when the restaurant is less than a 10 minute drive away.

Kebab wrap was good, tomato sauce was added to burger after specifically requesting there to be none added

Food was early, calzone was okay but the baked tattie looked like someone had vomited all over it couldn’t even see the tattie underneath far too much mayo in the tuna. Chilli sauce also wasn’t chilli more like tomato soup.

Food fresh, chips best ive had from a takeaway, not dried out and hard like alot of places these days.would try this place again.

Got a kebab deal. Was meant to be 2 king kebabs medium chips and 2 cokes £18.50, the 2 kebabs I received were medium kebabs at best. The mexican kebab was delicious

Really disappointed with the amount of chicken in the curry’s :( we shared this between three people and got three pieces of chicken each. There was also 2 cans of juice missing from our order.

I'll be honest. Ordered at 19:26 got confirmation it was ready to collection 19:28 and had hot (and pretty good food) at 19:35. I can't even microwave something that fast

Call shop to have someone shouting down phone at you not acceptable. They have changed their menu in store but not on just eat so what you order on just eat is wrong and your sent different to be fair chicken kebab so dry and over cooked can’t eat lamb the same this place I use to use every day and use to be amazingly good and friendly staff however I shall not be back and have put repot into just eat you can’t scream at customer and hang up

Usually the place is banging, lovely scoff, last couple times however, it's said its been delivered, when it hasn't, and then showed up 20 minutes late. Ended up waiting 1hr 30 mins. And 1hr 40 mins previously. And then, the food ended up being Luke warm. Been getting here for years, but with the price increase, and service last 2 times being a bit, eh, gunna have to avoid for a bit.

Ordered the super Donner meat, was disappointed with it, barely any meat in it, naan was doughy, got chips included, well it was a half a bag of cold chips, 2 tins of juice ordered they came warmer than the food, in the same bag as the supposed hot food, waste of time and money this evening.

Before I ordered it said the food would be no longer than 55 minutes, but once the order went through it changed to an hour and a half it eventually arrived 1 hour 55 minutes later. Food is always good, but they should stop taking orders if it makes the delivery time so long or at least have an accurate delivery time before people order

Portion sizes really big. Sauce tubs really big for 70p! Delivery instructions followed. Will be back x

The chicken was good. All that needs improved is the spicy Mayo. It’s too spicy and should be lighter in my opinion

Had a Boston calzone. Delicious and absolutely packed with filling, but more mushroom than anything else. Recommend adding pepperoni or something in the options to get more meat/flavours in there.
