food arrived late,cold and munchie box over cooked . disappointed

Second time ordering from this place, first time the order was more than an hour late. This time it was 30 mins late. I don't mind waiting for an order but both times the claimed delivery estimate from the restaurant was wildly inaccurate.

Chicken in munchy box was very rubbery and pieces on bone were black in parts so but disappointing as previous munchy box was very good

This is a decent Chinese but we’ve had to stop ordering as the prices are extortionate. 14.50 for the starter box is almost laughable. You get one rib and one chicken wing each? Crazy times.

twice in a row, my instructions to leave the beansprouts and veg out have been entirely ignored. I have paid for a meal and expect it as requested. twice now, you have spoiled my dinner and wasted my money. not coming back

excellent quality food despite being busy on Xmas eve

cannot fault the food. the munch box did 4 which was a bonus. spicy wings went down well also

The food felt dry and dehydrated, as if it had been out for delivery for a while, bizarre given that it was delivered earlier than stated. The chips were already cold, the rest was tepid at best.

The whole order was freezing cold and stale! I usually love this takeaway but this order was absolutely awful

took a long time to arrive after being told it was on its way so was cold when it arrived. Food tasted old as if it was left over from a previous day. salt and pepper chicken hurt my mouth it was so hard. wouldn't order from there again.

food was only Luke warm. shredded chicken was over cooked very hard to bite into . Was disappointed as deep fried crispy chicken is a favourite dish of mine. Had it many timescfrom different restaurants and never been hard like this

Delivery driver was nice and early, food arrived hot. Ordered the small golden munchy box salt & chilli box, plenty of variety but most of it was inedible as it was too over salted, crispy greens was good.

the lemon chicken was over cooked to the point of being slightly tough a shame because it is normally spot on

Over an hour and half and still not arrived. Don’t take the order and say 45 minutes when you have no intention of delivering in a reasonable time period. Disappointing because they do good food but not worth the wait.

October 2024 - things seem to have got worse. Ribs were chewy and not tasty. Beef with black bean very chilli flavour despite us asking for no chilli. Pretty unhelpful when we gave feedback. Will be going elsewhere after a long time being a loyal customer. Been going here for many years, and it rarely puts a foot wrong. Tonight was the signature bbq ribs- always excellent. Tried the king prawn chow neon and it was delicious. The beef with black bean is another favourite and asking to skip the chilli is never an issue. Will be back very soon!

A million stars. Food was early, the food was INCREDIBLE. Best food I’ve ever eaten. The chips were salty and spicy but not too much, the chicken was insanely tasty, and the satay was also very very nice. I will be ordering my food from here for the foreseeable future.

Man did apologise for time it took , but the bottom container containing the. Chips rice and curry sauce had collapsed underneath the weight or the way it was sitting during transport

Usually love the food here but over an hour & 30 minute wait for the food to be cold is very disappointing.

Food was the worst we have had yet.. far too spicy it’s like the cooks have went crazy with the spices and chilli’s far too hot to eat whole order just went in the bin.. I will not be ordering again this was my go to Chinese for a good while that has totally changed must have new chefs or something as food has changed

soup was ok, but fried rice was average, and prawns in it tasted strange. Chow mein noodles were overcooked, while chicken needed little bit more time and in general meal was poorly spiced.

I made an order earlier tonight and when it arrived I'd made a mistake an ordered the wrong soup....however they kindly deliver the soup I wanted without another payment needed, it was very kind of them as it was my mistake to start with....I use this takeaway at any excuse as food is always 💯 delicious.

Yummy and delicious as always! But timing has me questioning? Ordered at 9:40! Delivered at my door at 9;56! Google maps has 5 mins delivery time to mine from shop! Was my food fresh or pre heated?! Loved this place as well!

Salt & chilli shredded beef was stone cold and brick hard with no sauce, went straight in the bin. Very disappointing

I ordered my food for delivery at 19:05, I got a message at 19:15 saying enjoy your food, It HADN'T EVEN BEEN DELIVERED! I called them, their excuse?... We're cooking and busy. Delivery moved to 8pm - no phone call to advise. I am seriously not amused and will Never order from them again.

1st time ordering and was really impressed. Curry was extra hot (as requested) and so tasty. Great selection of salt & chilli items. Ordered the s&c lemon chicken but was disappointed it didn't come with a lemon sauce. Will definitely be ordering again but now I know I will order a sauce on the side. Also appreciated the care taken to ensure the chicken still arrived crispy!

Chinese spring rolls tasted like vinegar. I’m guessing the bean sprouts that filled 99% of them were off. Revolting. Chicken “breast” in the curry was like foam, I don’t know how else to describe it. It was inedible. Curry sauce was somehow too spicy and bland at the same time. Rice tasted old and had absolutely no flavour. This place has been our go to Chinese for years but it’s possible they have a new chef who needs refresher training as it’s the worst food we’ve ever had from here.

Food was bland apart from the sweet and sour sauce which was spicy and I hated it. Chips rubbish, no, didn't enjoy at all.

We usually go here and have no problems. We will never go back again after tonight’s ‘meal’. The sweet and sour king Cantonese style were the worst thing I’ve ever received from any takeaway ever in my life. I bit into it and was met with a mouthful of powdery sludge?? at first I thought it was chicken we had been given my mistake. After digging around a bit we found a teeny tiny prawn. I’ve no idea what the weird mush in there with it was? Possibly batter? Was mushy but then powdery the closer

Great food as usual. Slightly later than the time I’d requested (two hours earlier) but I’d rather a little late than early tbh with putting kids down and eating after.

Food missing, lady on the phone wasn’t interested, just go and get a refund.

I ordered the chicken chow mein and it was very disappointing pretty tasteless actually, also 😞lacking in noodles, basically it was just chicken & bean sprouts.

Bland, mushy.No description of special..thought I would give it a go...deep fried nonsense..mainly chips.

Great takeaway! Fresh, very clean food - not greasy at all and great flavour. The garlic broccoli was absolutely perfect!! Great customer service too: the order page hadn't updated properly and when we rang to check it was almost done, bang on time. The lady who answered knew our order straight away and the status of it and even called us back when the food had arrived. Thank you!!

Was beautiful, best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time, beef was so tender and juicy, salt n chilli chips by far the best in Edinburgh. We also got a huge bag of prawn crackers and vegetable spring rolls free, which was a really nice touch. Will definitely be ordering again, everything was so fresh x

Just Eat said 20-35, but as soon as order placed, it was nearer 70-80 minutes.

Food still hasn’t arrived. Ordered at 18:30. It’s now 20:10. Called the restaurant for an update, was told the driver had just left, even tho it had been stuck on, on its way for 30 mins. Restaurant is 15 mins away at most. Just absolutely ridiculous. It’s so greedy to accept orders if you can’t fulfil them on time. Wouldn’t order again true to the astronomical amount of time you have to wait.. best of luck if you decide to order. Hopefully the food will arrive before the night is done.

beef and black bean sauce with peppers. Very tender beef, fresh crisp veg and pleasantly spicy (wouldn't mind an extra chili option, but that's just me). Very good meal, no leftovers, no complaints here.

Tried this place tonight for the first time. Delivery was quick, and reasonably priced. However, felt ill and nauseous with a churning stomach within an hour of eating which is a sure sign of massively over salty food. My daughter and I have both been ridiculously thirsty all evening. There’s just no need. Won’t be ordering again.

"Roast Duck with Pineapple" is hard and rubbery and not a pleasure to eat. "Chicken & Sweetcorn Soup" so salty you can't eat it. It stood in the heater for so long until the water evaporated and only the salt remained. "Dumplings" 3 types were packed in aluminum containers without parchment lining. I expected paper boxes and not aluminum as packaging.
