Golden Palace Takeaway in Swansea

Thought we'd give this place another try as we haven't eaten here for quite a while due to my husband being ill twice after eating beef dishes. This used to be a really good takeaway, but I feel the hygiene standards have dropped dramatically. We've eaten from here again and I had the same as my husband, and both of us have had awful bad stomachs. We will never eat from here again

Brilliant service, polite. And filled every box to the brim and gives you more than you paid for. Yes it’s not cheap but it’s still so worth it. Also very quick service.

Usually great food but ordered 2 porrions of barbacue ribs and out of both 3 spare ribs were eatable, tough, grizzle and no care, from what used tobe a great takeaway standards are slipping dont think i be goin back

Ordered our first Chinese from Garden Palace and it was stunning! The nicest Chinese we have had in a long time. Delivery didn't take long at all either, will be ordering again in future.

Foods reliably good, service is friendly, our go to when we want a quick meal.

This is my favourite take-away in Swansea. Despite being several miles from where I live, and in an area surrounded by take-aways, I always make the longer trip to go here. Friendly staff, nice selection of Chinese food, and I've never had a bad meal from there! It's very popular for a reason. It doesn't look like a picture postcard from the front, but then I don't go there for the atmosphere.

They do not take card which is the only downside of this take away. They're really quick with orders and you get free prawn crackers / pop with different order thresholds. Usual menu you would expect from a chinese but the chicken and mushroom is especially good.

Food absolutly lovely wont go anywhere else its nice to have proper chips and not the horrible chilled 1's highly reccomend it 🤞

What a useless takeaway Placed a relatively small order a couple of dishes When it got delivered Totally wrong order after calling the shop he said he would get the driver to return with the correct order Driver turned up second time woth the same bag and still a totally different order than what we placed Phoned the shop again only to have the guy on the other line asking us if I have ever ordered Chinese food before Not sure what that meant but when i order food over the phone don't expect to be delivered any different food than what I wanted Guy on the phone thought that this was acceptable Goto say this is the first chinese take away I've used where your particular order don't mean nothing it all depends what wthe chef ants to cook for you Avoid this like covid order from a reliable take away Don't know what the food is like I never got my order !

Best local Chinese takeaway in my opinion. Never had a bad meal from here. The staff are always so friendly, food is usually ready within 15 mins and very reasonably priced. Can't fault it

For many years I have used this take away, mostly I had good service and good food. However my last meal was appalling, tasteless, bland and the curry sauce, so thin it was like water. This was probably the worst meal from a takeaway that I have ever had. Awful.

I've used this place many times and for different dishes and the food has always been excellent. The service is friendly and fast. The prices are average but value for money. No squid dishes but that's a minor thing. Everytime I go there, there's a crowd of people which speaks to me if quality.

I have been having takeaways from the Golden Palace for as long as I can remember. I love the food from here. Service is always good, fast and friendly. If you are thinking about giving this place a go I would recommend it. 10/10.
