Just spent £30 on a few dishes only to find that I couldn't even get a fork into the chicken as it was so hard. Not even sure it was chicken. Absolutely disgusting, have always used this Chinese, but they have obviously changed owners and I will not be going back

What a TERRIBLE!! Experience I made a Oder for £60.52 she would not let me off the 2 Pence I had to ask a random stranger for 2 pence really embarrassing I then got my food and went to my car yet only to realise she hasn’t gave me a prawn crackers so I walked back into the store and asked for my crackers she then disputed that she gave them and she would have to check her cctv then she told me she could only give me a small portion of prawn crackers then I arrived home to eat my food and there was a RIB HAIR!! In my rise the food was disgusting I would not recommend this Chinese to anyone

Food is ok, nothing amazing. Visiting from Manchester and tried it twice. I feel they don't need to try to hard as they don't really have competition in the area. Seems busy enough so must suit the locals

Used to be a decent takeaway. Ordered duck, which came in plastic bag and unshredded. There was no chicken present in my sweet and sour chicken! Also cash only... I wonder why!!

Really nice, except for the Singapore chow mein - the noodles were too thin and not enough flavour, but the rest was really tasty

Possibly the worst Chinese takeaway we've ever had. Greasy noodles, the chicken in black bean was tough as leather, and the salt and pepper chips just tasted like regular chips had been sprinkled in shop-bought seasoning, no veg or anything in them so very dry and overdone. Also be aware that this place only accepts cash, which they don't tell you over the phone. It's 2022, get a card machine! Won't be returning.

Not our usual haunt for Chinese takeaway, but we like to try other places once in a while. You get a lot for your money - portions are really good. Quality of prawns and chicken served was really good. The prawn balls, however, were deep fried a bit too long, and the Thai red curry was not traditional in any sense, so slightly disappointed with the flavour. Otherwise the food was still good - hence the 4 stars. But will be going back to our preferred takeaway spot :)

Very clean takeaway. The food is absolutely delicious and fresh and ready in a very short time. Prices are very fair and reasonable. Cash only but there are two cash points just on the corner of the road less than 25 yards from the door.

I ordered a beef curry, to me it was very salty, if you ever want decent Chinese takeaway, then go to CHINA PALACE, ALEXANDRA TERRACE, KINGSTHORPE, NORTHAMPTON

Just discovered this place for takeaway deliveries during lockdown. Best Chinese we have ever had, highly recommended.

The food is absolutely delicious. The delivery is always within the hour. Their portions are very good .The staff are very nicely.I love ordering takeaway from Golden hill. Because this is the best Chinese food I have ever had.......

Got home and parts of order missing, rung them up but did not believe me I should of checked on premises.

This was the driest Chicken Chow Mein I’ve ever had - the egg fried rice was more moist. I was also really unimpressed with the service, the young lady didn’t say anything as I walked in & approached the counter, and I didn’t hear a thank you once I’d placed my order and paid.

Food tastes nice. But where's the rest of it? Charging £5.40 for a carton of food that wouldn't fill your big toe is a massive let down.

The portions of the meals from this restaurant have become a joke. Been using this place for years but the last 2 meals ordered have been tiny. Smaller containers and less meat
