Golden Harvest in North Tyneside

Got delivery of King prawn fried rice curry chips mixed veg was looking forward to it had it before no problems with it not not on this occasion first mixed veg was mainly onions completely liquid and tasteless prawns ok chips tasteless curry ok very disappointed

Food not great, delivery late and no empathy at all

Lush food reasonable price always busy which shows how good it is

Just had first meal from golden harvest, absolutely stunning, arrived on time piping hot which is a bonus these days, all ingredients fresh and crisp well done

This used to be one of the best Chinese in wallsend, but lately over the last 5/6 months I’ve had so many issues with food,I asked for egg fried rice and a separate curry sauce as the curry sauce was for me and the plain rice was for my sister as she does not like curry, I rang up and said “I’ve just been in your shop and I’ve gotten home and the curry is on the rice, I asked for it separate” apparently he asked me if I wanted it in the same container however why would I ask for a separate curry, of course I don’t want them in the same container that’s why I said seperate, now my foods cold, and where having to run around trying to find a Chinese open to get a plain egg fried rice for my 8 year old sister, hope you change and actually help customers 👍🏻

Food was nice , Ku Bo a rather strange interpretation . Rather sweet little spice and no Chinese mushrooms more so sweet and sour type dish . Lemon chicken ok very small pieces of meat , again different to what was expected.

Omg got to say the chow mein is delicious from here, when I was a child (I'm 61 now so a long time ago) I had my first taste of chow mein and loved it I've been searching ever since for a chow mein that matches it and never found one till now so I'm definitely going to be a regular from now. My partner had special fried rice and that was lovely too as was the curry sauce

Me & my grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed are meal tonight. It was tasty, rice was delicious ~ well recommended

Best munch boxes and house special chow mein is the best I’ve had! Never had a bad takeaway !

Rubbish. Picked a meal up last night as our local was closed. House special chow mein - pork was disgusting, nothing but fat and gristle. The rest of the meat was ok but the noodles and sauce were tasteless. Most of it went straight in the bin.

Lovely.food but prices to.high... also long wait for food when oredering from the shop....

The best Chinese in the North East, but they need to cut back on the chilli oil in the Singapore Chow Mein. I like hot but not to the point where I need to put big roll in the freezer.

Brilliant take away. Excellent service. Great chips, totally, special fried rice, Hot wok is mint. Wouldn't go anywhere else.Family love it, too.

Fab food freshly prepared, they do everything from pizza & pasta to fresh fish & steaks, I can't recommend their belly pork highly enough and their Sunday carvery is second to none, staff are very friendly, they have a beautiful beer garden that boasts an aviary and in the summer the owners have a bouncy castle for the children. What more can I say about this gem of a pub/restaurant/hotel except. You really must try it out for yourselves

Excellent! The golden harvest was by far one of the best chinese if not the best i've had. really, really fast service came within 30 minutes, and thoroughly enjoyed my meal, My partner said her meal was fantastic too. Will definitely be ordering from the Golden Harvest again! Highly recommend the; Chicken chowmein and deep fried chicken in honey and chilli sauce. Thank you Golden Harvest.
