Simple good food without any pretentions, and served by very friendly people

Perfect spot for a quick dinner, staff are super friendly and helpful and the food is very tasty and fresh. Would definitely recommend.

MASSIVELY overpriced. Food is ...ok, but around £11 for a chicken shish and chips is taking the absolute Michael! You can get the same for £6.40 (With a drink) up the road. Nothing special about this place that warrants an extra £5.00 if you ask me. Can't fault the staff, they're lovely. but the prices are a total joke.

Had a halloumi wrap with all the salad and really enjoyed it. Would go again if needing somewhere to stop for lunch again.

A few things about this place… First time and I live just down the road. Ordered breakfast, the cheapest type of ‘sausage’ is used. Tea was given with loads of milk dumped in it. Not even given a chance to actually brew the tea, so left with a cup of milky water. But the biggest insult is the HP and Heinz branded sauce bottles refilled with fowl generic brand sauce!?! Not to mention the best before dates have been scrubbed off!!! Ever heard of trading standards?? Will not be back, and I walk past everyday…

Price on menu was for chicken kebab 11.45 plus coca-cola 1 £ something and then service charge me 16.10 . Enjoy with extra tip , next time will be nice to ask for that !

Eat before you get to Sunbury. Tea - poor quality used Toast - only one slice provided Bacon - salty poor quality Eggs - poor quality and cold Sausage - pre cooked warm and tasteless Atmosphere - none The whole menu is very overpriced. If you can you would benefit by going elsewhere. They have a sign that indicates they do not want to listen to complaints.

The kebab was meant to be a mixed kebab but, felt more like a tough beef kebab as the "shish" which I thought, was chicken kebab meat, was poorly seasoned and hard as a rock. The bread was soaked with the water that, they used to wash their salad mix. The chips were bland and greasy like the kebab. In a few words, it was disgusting. I wish the food was as good looking as the facilities.

Been going here a while and love the food and customer service.. Well worth a visit or a takeaway kebab.. Enjoy

Post a run, opted for breakfast as this family run place as opposed to having it at the Premier Inn opposite, where I had stayed for the night. As a solo patron, the service was very quick. A very sumptuous Mediterranean breakfast with great tasting coffee. Loved the friendliness of entire staff.

Great food, friendly and quick service. I would definitely suggest kebabs and burgers which are extremely filling. You can order through Uber, Deliveroo and JustEat as well.

Couldn’t have been more impressed with the service and food. There was the smallest of issues, tbh I didn’t even think it was an issue chips were slightly late but the guys was like have a drink on the house, couldn’t have been more apologetic. Then the food, delicious and obviously quality ingredients.

Stopped in for breakfast on my travels. Friendly staff, did not have to wait too long to be served, and the breakfast was amazing! No grease, fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced. I will definitely be going back.

We ordered a takeaway by calling in advance, very friendly staff - slight delay when we arrived as I think a new member of staff was putting our order through the till, not really a problem as staff (as always) really friendly and helpful. The chilli sauce must get a mention as it is delicious, wish we’d asked for more, highly recommend! Not the cheapest of takeaways as we just got burger and chips (2 x kids menu) and 2 quarter pounders and chips in pitta but much more filling than any other burger and chips fast food restaurants so that makes up for it.

They have become ridiculously expensive. Over £9.00 for doner meat and chips.

3 of us went for Sunday breakfast, my son got full English, lovely . My daughters breakfast came out 5 mins later with no requested sausage. My breakfast was so late arriving, that 2 other tables got served theirs before mine. My son finished his full English and I then said don't bother with mine as not even been prepared. Shame .

Very delicious kebabs. I ordered mixed kebabs - chicken, lamb kofta and it was so soft juicy as I expected from Turkish restaurant. Love it I will definitely go back again. 👍👍👍

my order was delivered incomplete and when i called they gave me abuse. No one there spoke English AT ALL. He was shouting and his English was so bad it was impossible to understand. The staff here are clearly dishonest and I can see from other reviews it's a not a one off. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Really good place to go and eat, I have been here alot for an evening meal, quick efficient staff, friendly, the decor of the place I personally think is cool and different, it's always clean, and the prices for what you get are very reasonable, local gem I think personally

We stumbled across this place by accident and so please we did. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was brilliant. So good in fact that we decided to ditch the hotel breakfast the next day and return to this place! I would highly recommend

I went into Golden Grill today and gave a tenner to the large man for a quarter pounder and chips... which is 5.30 and 2.40, 7.70 in total. I said to the man that he didn't give me any change at all... I had to demand it, it nearly escalated before another staff member got involved. She told him to open the till and give me my change back. Well, in the heat of the moment I actually didn't get my full change back as I did the math wrong in my head (that parts on me). But i did show him on the calculater the total cost during our interaction which was correct. He was reluctant on giving me anything as kept saying he already gave me the money check your pockets... as if I couldn't recall him handing me the moeny. The man clearly isn't qualified for the job, can't concerntrate, or did this deliberately. I'm not really sure. The male cashier had is headphones in and clearly wasn't paying attention anyways. Because of this i won't be going back in here ever again. Shepperton Golden grill is way freindlier too.

Popped in for a quick sausage and egg sandwich. Served immediately, food was great and staff excellent. Did the job.

The prices have continuously gone up, over the past few months and the portion sizes considerably smaller. Gone from good value to terrible. The food is still good, but maybe now considered a snack not a meal.

Really nice interior for a what is essentially a greasy spoon. It has comfortable seats in booths. The food was good. My only reservation is, if I'm having a greasy spoon, I want a big portion cheaply. This is an average portion for above average cost - but in much nicer surroundings. The food is good quality and the staff are helpful and friendly

Don't get what you asked for and when you say something is missing they say you didn't ask for that. Also my daughter wanted salad, she got 1 piece of tomato and 1 slice of cucumber. We didn't get my sons kebab, so had to ask for it. When we got home the kebab looked like it had been thrown in😤

highly reccomended. we come here for breakfast, staying at a nearby hotel. breakfast was hot, tasty and served by very polite and friendly man. lots of choice and variety. will be visiting again

Kebab was tasty but don't expect to be able to pick it up. Pitta was sloppy and covered with some sort of liquid.

Myself, husband and 3 children (including a toddler) are staying at the Premier Inn just across the road from here and we visited this place for tea. The staff were immediately welcoming and accommodated our toddler and pushchair. The staff here are wonderfully friendly and have lovely smiles. We placed our order and the food arrived in good time. The portions are huge. Even the small kebabs were big. We had to cancel a portion of the chips as we had too much food. The food here is some of the best food we have had this side of Turkey. We ordered sundaes for pudding and were feeding our toddler from our spoons and one of the ladies brought over an espresso mug full of cream and sauce with a spoon for our toddler to eat. Awesome place. You won't be disappointed.

First of all, it is a Turkish fast food restaurant. I had ordered a quarter of a chicken with fries. The chicken was tasteless, but with a crispy crust and the potatoes were no different from most fast food restaurants. I give him 3 stars because the staff is good, the atmosphere is nice, but of course there is more to be desired. However, it is not a chic restaurant with gourmet burgers to rate it 5 stars.

Loved the food and the hospitality of the staff, I was there for iftaari (breaking my fast) and they made it very nice and special for me.. Also complemented with some extra bit.. Food was the top notch, big up to all the friendly staff 👍👏

Food was ok, but the portions are ridiculously small and expensive for the size. In most places I've been, small portions were the same size as the large portion in this place.

I've used the Golden Grill a couple of times now, when I've been staying at the nearby Travelodge. If you want a reasonably priced traditional cafe style meal it's great. Prompt and friendly service, freshly cooked food and it's open late into the evening. Nice and clean and a toilet for customers. There is free parking right outside, although this is quite busy during shop trading hours. I'll certainly be back.

Lovely Turkish restaurant located in Sunbury upon Thames. I ordered doner meat, chips and salad from Deliveroo. The delivery was speedy and driver very friendly. Staff are friendly, attentive and informative. The doner meat was tender and juicy, whilst the chips were crunchy, garnished with chilli and mayo it is mouthwatering. Salad was also very fresh and complimented the meat and chips.Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the local area for great food and excellent customer service.

Incredibly overpriced. Paid £7.80 for a small chicken shish expecting a fairly big portion like you get in other restaurants. There were literally 6 bite size cubes of chicken and a tiny pitta bread that was clearly just bought from a shop. Had to put the bits of chicken in myself!! (which couldn’t even all fit). My mate got a large and only got a couple extra pieces. Chicken was nice but could eat at a proper turkish meze restaurant for that price

We’ve used this place quite a few times over the last couple of years, probably 7/8 in total. Sometimes for a dine-in breakfast on a weekend, where we’ll have the usual fry-up which is a decent portion size, good menu to chose from. Whereas other times we will get a takeout usually in the form of a kebab or burger and every time the food is good. My only complaints are whenever I try to order for delivery it always selects Golden Grill 2 which is not this shop 🤷🏼‍♂️. Also i would like it to be open later, but if the business level doesn’t warrant late-night opening then I get that.

Decent place, nice food, nice interior design only let down by a cold bathroom that has no mirrors. Brings back memories of the communist East lol Staff needs a bit more awareness of guests needs though. Once you've finished your meal nobody is asking you anything until you go to the till to ask for a coffee or the bill. It might be the local custom? Waiters passed by my table several times in 15 minutes not noticing the empty coffee cup at the edge of the table.

Fresh tasty food with great staff. Always a joy to pop down for some food regardless of whether I'm getting breakfast or kebabs. The interior is also modern which provides a good atmosphere.

Very nice exactly what you would expect only down side for me I believe the oil in the fryer might have been abit old as my hash brown wasn't great and you can taste the dirty oil

Can't say anything about the food as they cancelled my order 10 minutes before they closed. called them to ask if it was a mistake and they said they decided to close early as their "not doing food anymore". can't imagine how somebody's running a food business if they can't be bothered to make food during their opening hours. Burgerzone in staines was very good.
