Golden Grill in Spelthorne

Went for late night food after a long day and couple of us wanted food elsewhere while the rest ate here. Golden grill were brilliant in letting us eat our “other shop” food with rest of family. Really grateful and also a plus the chocolate milkshake I bought was possibly best I’ve had. Again thank you !

Ordered grilled halloumi and salad , photo attached is the amount of onion pulled out of the salad 😭😭😭 will literally make you cry due to amount of onion Halloumi is grilling cheese at best , not real halloumi. Misrepresentation at best , some dishonesty if you feel less charitable. Used to be a great place few years ago .

Not a patch on the kebabs we used to have from the Whitton High Street Golden Grill. Dry and disappointing!

Great quality meat. Fresh salad. Delivered Luke-warm. 7/10 would have been 10 if the meat was of higher temperature.

The food tastes nice and is cooked fresh to order. The staff are also polite, attentive, and prices are reasonable. I recommend the early starter breakfast

Ordered a lrg kebab had to ask for coleslaw when opened food couldn't work out the lrg part of my order Pitta bread was normal size salad was lazy prepped and the meat was poor quality and almost absent Never have I eaten a lrg kebab then had to go out to anothr takeaway to fill me up

Great food, friendly and quick service. I would definitely suggest kebabs and burgers which are extremely filling. You can order through Uber, Deliveroo and JustEat as well.

The process seemed simple enough, but I was expecting free delivery, given the cost of the order, but was sent a message, telling me to collect? Not sure what went wrong, but makes me think twice about reordering, unless this is made clear from the outset?

Top notch place fabulous food service and people, very friendly and in expensive to boot, will defo be back.

Perfect fry up for breakfast. Not over greasy and absolutely perfectly cooked. Staff friendly and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Quality meats too.

Great Place for a Great Breaky!

Called here for breakfast, recommended by a lovely man working at Tesco on the trolleys! Food was as good as he said it was. Great choice. Lovely staff/owners.

Called in here on Wednesday, 8th, as I and a colleague were on a twilight shift until 2 am. in the morning .I had a half pound cheese burger, and my colleague had a kebab .The food was amazing, and that was the best burger that I have ever had.my colleague couldn't believe how good his kabab was. Definitely recommend a visit here 👌. Will be back if ever in the area again. Thanks for the drinks as well.

I spoke to the restaurant who did all they can to get me my order, food was sat waiting for a driver for 30 mins… final insult, once a driver did arrive at the restaurant and delivered my food I had to pull him up on driving his scooter along the pavement outside my house!! Went past 3 house off road!!

Perfect spot for a quick dinner, staff are super friendly and helpful and the food is very tasty and fresh. Would definitely recommend.

MASSIVELY overpriced. Food is ...ok, but around £11 for a chicken shish and chips is taking the absolute Michael! You can get the same for £6.40 (With a drink) up the road. Nothing special about this place that warrants an extra £5.00 if you ask me. Can't fault the staff, they're lovely. but the prices are a total joke.

Had a halloumi wrap with all the salad and really enjoyed it. Would go again if needing somewhere to stop for lunch again.

A few things about this place… First time and I live just down the road. Ordered breakfast, the cheapest type of ‘sausage’ is used. Tea was given with loads of milk dumped in it. Not even given a chance to actually brew the tea, so left with a cup of milky water. But the biggest insult is the HP and Heinz branded sauce bottles refilled with fowl generic brand sauce!?! Not to mention the best before dates have been scrubbed off!!! Ever heard of trading standards?? Will not be back, and I walk past everyday…

Price on menu was for chicken kebab 11.45 plus coca-cola 1 £ something and then service charge me 16.10 . Enjoy with extra tip , next time will be nice to ask for that !

Eat before you get to Sunbury. Tea - poor quality used Toast - only one slice provided Bacon - salty poor quality Eggs - poor quality and cold Sausage - pre cooked warm and tasteless Atmosphere - none The whole menu is very overpriced. If you can you would benefit by going elsewhere. They have a sign that indicates they do not want to listen to complaints.

The kebab was meant to be a mixed kebab but, felt more like a tough beef kebab as the "shish" which I thought, was chicken kebab meat, was poorly seasoned and hard as a rock. The bread was soaked with the water that, they used to wash their salad mix. The chips were bland and greasy like the kebab. In a few words, it was disgusting. I wish the food was as good looking as the facilities.

Been going here a while and love the food and customer service.. Well worth a visit or a takeaway kebab.. Enjoy

Post a run, opted for breakfast as this family run place as opposed to having it at the Premier Inn opposite, where I had stayed for the night. As a solo patron, the service was very quick. A very sumptuous Mediterranean breakfast with great tasting coffee. Loved the friendliness of entire staff.

Couldn’t have been more impressed with the service and food. There was the smallest of issues, tbh I didn’t even think it was an issue chips were slightly late but the guys was like have a drink on the house, couldn’t have been more apologetic. Then the food, delicious and obviously quality ingredients.

Stopped in for breakfast on my travels. Friendly staff, did not have to wait too long to be served, and the breakfast was amazing! No grease, fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced. I will definitely be going back.

When I received the kebab it was cold. The meat was very dry, bland in taste and no sauces at all. Very disappointed with my order.

We ordered a takeaway by calling in advance, very friendly staff - slight delay when we arrived as I think a new member of staff was putting our order through the till, not really a problem as staff (as always) really friendly and helpful. The chilli sauce must get a mention as it is delicious, wish we’d asked for more, highly recommend! Not the cheapest of takeaways as we just got burger and chips (2 x kids menu) and 2 quarter pounders and chips in pitta but much more filling than any other burger and chips fast food restaurants so that makes up for it.

They have become ridiculously expensive. Over £9.00 for doner meat and chips.

Highly recommend, 10/10 in my opinion. Food fresh and tasty, my lamb Shish always perfectly cooked (pink inside). Very friendly and polite staff. And not expensive for what you get. Thank You

3 of us went for Sunday breakfast, my son got full English, lovely . My daughters breakfast came out 5 mins later with no requested sausage. My breakfast was so late arriving, that 2 other tables got served theirs before mine. My son finished his full English and I then said don't bother with mine as not even been prepared. Shame .

Very delicious kebabs. I ordered mixed kebabs - chicken, lamb kofta and it was so soft juicy as I expected from Turkish restaurant. Love it I will definitely go back again. 👍👍👍

Generally very nice except the chicken in the kebabs was already cold on arrival, also it would be nice if there was an option to buy smaller kebabs, the large one is way too much for me.

It was first them when I'm order food from this restaurant and im sure it was last time! Kebab meat was very dry, not fresh. Not any souce in wrap and in kebab. "Large" chips not look like large. And chicken nuggets what that disgusting even my kids don't eat them.Not happy. Will not order again. They obviously don't value costumers. If someone ask me about this restaurant I'm sure im not recommended for no one.

my order was delivered incomplete and when i called they gave me abuse. No one there spoke English AT ALL. He was shouting and his English was so bad it was impossible to understand. The staff here are clearly dishonest and I can see from other reviews it's a not a one off. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

The box of rice was less than half filled! Kebab meat was very dry, not fresh. Not happy. Will not order again

Really good place to go and eat, I have been here alot for an evening meal, quick efficient staff, friendly, the decor of the place I personally think is cool and different, it's always clean, and the prices for what you get are very reasonable, local gem I think personally
