Golden Fry in Sefton

vile. I have no other words. omelette was soggy the chat Sui was bouncy the chicken was rubbery and the ham didn't exist. and absolutely no one needs that many lemons to hand the lemon chicken was literally a birds eye chicken steak cut up with lemon sauce on. the fried rice smelt like washing up liquid. the salt and pepper was amazing though. but alas it was so very late and the delivery driver was shining a big bright torch through everyones windows and doors! literally blinded me shining it.

food wasn't very hot hardly any curry on the meal was very dry everything else orders wasn't very good looked like it has all just been thrown in the food trays never complained about a place before it's a NO from me though .

Order was over an hour late! Phoned was told it was on the way. Waited another half hour. Very rude gentleman on phone when we Had to phone again then was told that there was an accident with a driver. (Felt like an excuse) Food delivered - cold and had been sitting for a long while. Very disappointed overall!

Great tasting king prawn in chilli and garlic sauce, Prawn toast and egg fried rice, plus open late on a Sunday evening. Food was still warm when it arrived too.

i have to say there hot and sour soup was delicious as all there food , the portions was huge good value for money, we saved the meals for the next day and there is still too much, we got a free garlic bread and a extra portion of chips , also delivery was quick there amazing x

order never arrived and I never received the food. when I called the first time, the woman was arsey and said it had been cancelled. I was confused as I hadn't cancelled it and she said it had been cancelled on their end, however it was marked as delivered on my app. I rang again after I checked I hadn't been refunded, and I hadn't. this time I got shouted at by a bloke about there being no delivery driver, as if that was my fault, before I was handed back to the woman who similarly arsey again

Absolute idiots, didn't deliver food, called me to say they left it on doorstep, wasn't on doorstep. Basically stole from me by pretending to deliver order when they didn't. Always rude when you speak to them.

so tasty we could only manage the soup and chopsewy rolls so the rest for tomorrow's tea so tasty and good value , we still have 3 meals a soup , chips , rice and a carton of curry left over that cost me 34 quid with the 40% discount such a bargain x

the owner is incredibly rude and hostile, called us back after requesting an update on our order absolutely screaming down the phone! food was also cold and arrived over 2 hours late. reported the behaviour to just eat - avoid and spend your money somewhere that deserves it‼️

Order arrived early which was good as initially I was advised one hour. Food was good for price paid as I had a discount applied however if I was paying full price I may have been a little disappointed.

Food was very tasty! But the portion size was shocking, the tubawere of salt n pepper chicken was half empty hardly anything in there. But apart from that it was really nice.

Poor service. Food was late. Said it was delivered a full 30 mins before it actually was. When I called up to see where it was, I was told 'we've been busy' to continually take orders that you can't meet is poor. The food was lukewarm and we had to warm everything up. Won't be using Golden Fry again.

Duck was extremely greasy and leaked all over the spring onions and the 2 pieces of cucumber that came with it. The sauces had been pulled out the fridge as they were cold & like jelly. Overall it was all cold & greasy.

They said it would be delivered at 11 still waiting and it is currently 12:20 don’t order from here I want my money back

Absolute dogshit food im afraid. Prawn toast was bathed in grease. Special fried rice tasted like it was dipped in grease before packaging. Only good thing was the siu mai.

won't be ordering from here again. spend so much get free item that didn't happen no free item, most of my order was OK, except for the sui mai the most bland tasting food I've ever had, the chop suey rolls where WAY over cooked and far too much pepper. so 100% not recommend this place and won't order again.

S&P box a bit pricey £18 but it was nice,but I could’ve got 2 main meals for that price,too many chips…the spring rolls were the best bit but only 2 of them! The mixed starter was odd..meant to be between 2,yet 3 of everything 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Great food and quick delivery in icy conditions

I ordered from this takeaway, he spoke very badly, he started yelling on the phone, I explained nicely that the order was not complete. He hung up the phone, I recorded the conversation and I'm even going to go to the police. It's not fair and normal for him to have such bad behavior, I will never order from this takeaway again.

cold food take more than one hour

from start of order it took 2hrs to delivery ,some of the food was cold and everything was covered in grease in the bag

driver had no change and chips were awful

No exageration but this was the worst excuse for a take away we have ever made the mistake in ordering. On arrival food was freezing and missing prawn crackers. I contacted the “restaurant” to kindly advise we had not received these and was greeted with a vile rude old man shouting down the phone. After several attempts of trying to communicate he left the conversation saying “I can’t even understand her” putting me onto his colleague. Colleague argued that she had packed these in my order insinuating that I was lying, try delivering them then. Overall food was cold and tasteless, service was unprofessional and handled by rude incompetents. My stomach this morning was also not in a good way. Health and safety standards would have a field day. Do yourself a favour and AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.
