Food arrived cold, was an hour late, when i called to ask where it was I got screamed at down the phone before I could even speak. Don’t know why he was so angry at me for, not my fault he can’t handle it being a bit busy.

This is only the 2nd time I’ve ordered from golden fry but both times it’s been perfect! I will definitely be placing more orders. The service is fantastic and delivered with a smile even in the teaming rain. Thank you

Wasn't ready for delivery so early! Compared to the estimated time

I waited nearly 3 hours for my food. Called the restaurant multiple times with no response. The app said my food was delivered but I had a code so that’s impossible. No apologies offered at all. The food was cold and soggy. No compensation offered. Just disappointing

Waited nearly 2 hours to be screamed at and spoken to horribly over the phone by who I’m guessing is the owner. Why he got aggressive at me because he doesn’t know how to run a business is beyond me, what a sad old pitiful man.

I ordered 2 and a half hours ago. My order has not arrived. I doubt it ever will. After phoning the restaurant I was told I'd get it any second. That was 25 minutes ago. All-around awful. Cannot recommend.

Still not here Ordered almost 2 hours ago. Says it’s been delivered. Restaurant has since closed so no way of getting in touch by phone. Rather just know it’s not turning up so I can eat something else and go to bed 😂 terrible communication.

Awful food and service. half a duck delivered with no pancakes salad or hoisin sauce, phoned up and was snotty on the phone and swearing in the background and after a couple of phone calls back n forth said they'd sent it back out with the driver but could tell on the phone they hadn't and we was right because nothing turned up. just read all the past reviews guys because theyre not lying. Never again 😂

Placed a pre-order, just to discover it was cancelled with no explanation. Otherwise the food was so so, as such I don't think I'd order from them again.

Ordered a takeaway at 11:15 still not here by 1:20am tried to contact them, While on the phone Seemingly the manager or the worker in the background screaming down on the phone swearing at us. Didn’t even Say they’d give a refund.

Absolutely disgusting place. Went here on the way home last. Ended up walking straight back out. The way the owner was speaking to his staff was terrible. Had his finger in there face's belittling the 2 poor girls in front of everyone. Told him what I thought of him and said I'll take my money elsewhere. He Just mumbled at me to get out, which I did. Disgusting man. I'll never go back there.

Salt and pepper munchie box was huge, brilliant value if sharing with family and the box was full to bursting . With a great mixture, from wings to ribs. The donner meat was a great addition. Super value for money and ideal for treat night.

food was ok, salt an pepper box, chicken and donnor meat was abit dry. tray of chips was cold. could of done with the option to have salt and vinegar added to scallops too.

Ordered prawn toast from deliveroo arrived after 40mins . Contained no prawns was just very greasy bread with sesame seeds on top . Absolute waste of money . Do not recommend

Pizzas weren't nice atall, very dry and hardly no pizza sauce, the chips were cold and the garlic bread was burnt at the bottom, so didn't eat much atall.

Mate, I’m sat here FUMIN’ cos tell me why I order wings and the delivery driver sat there scranning all of it in front of me. When I tried to call they said “ GOLDEN FRY” and hung up. This honestly astonished me and I’m taken aback as to why the manager could possibly be so rude. I then walked to the place and when I walk in they scream “GOLDEN FRY” repeatedly and proceeded to throw 14 battered sausages at the pregnant lady sat next to me. I coulda eaten them 😢

Girl that answers was so lovely and other staff then have manager shouting aggressive /abuse to his collage / customers some one needs sort him out before I do 🤣

The fried rice wasn't that nice, dont know what it is used in it but you really need to change it very disappointed with the rice.

Took a while to be delivered but potentially due to Bank Holiday I’m not mad about it - £18 for the massive munch box is a huge deal and it came full to the brim so good! Considering we ordered from town it came within 25 mins of the delivery slot and was still quite warm which was lovely! Curry sauce also mega, very happy customer!

Can't understand how a donner kebab can have some meat hot and some stone cold?

Owner called back after complaint about awful portion size, screamed down the phone calling us ungrateful after spending about £40, also put the phone down on us twice.

Didn't get the chips with my main meal. I had phoned after ordering and paying for a portion of curry which I was assured would be delivered and I should give the driver £2. It was delivered but I'd wanted it for the chips :(

Fab Chinese! I ordered late and it arrived promptly. The duck in plum sauce was so good, the meat was so tender and the sauce was rich. Chicken in black bean was also really good. We got chips with the set meal as well and they were hot and crispy. Really pleased with this food, would deffo order again for a Chinese

Had a salt and pepper box, Food was not good at all. Very dry chips, and all meat looked like it was days old and very dry and could barely chew it, hope it was just a one off thing but it wasn't just one item, it was the whole box

order delivered on time and food was good only problem we ordered special curry with chips (no chips delivered) BeefMushroom with chips (no chips delivered) went onto Help and it doesn't show curry with chips just curry beef mushroom the same so have had to ask for a refund another way

All the chicken was overcooked and Donnor was ok not the best,, and the chips under cooked. Was expecting better specially at the price to be honest.

Delivered a special fried rice instead of a Singapore fried rice. Contains mushrooms and carrots that I can’t eat. Disappointing after having previously ordered a few times in the last week and expected them to know the difference.
