Golden Fried Chicken in Manchester

Went in today and ordered hot wings meal to take away, was looking forward to eating in the park, as soon as i tasted the wings, it was hard and chewy, can tell it sat in the hot oven for hours, How can you serve your customers such chicken knowing its not going to taste great after hours of frying them??? I could'nt eat it so i bin it! Worst chicken I've ever tried in my life, avoid this place people, new owners who dont care about quality of their food! SHAME ON YOU!

This used to be my favourite place to eat, came here after ages, not sure what’s happened, whether the owners have changed or what but the food was awful! Cold spicey burger which was left in the warmer then served to us, stale wings and soggy buns. So disappointed! Won’t be coming again.

Avoid at All Costs - Terrible Experience My first and last order from golden fried chicken was an absolute nightmare. Where do I even begin? Let's start with the abysmal service - manger was completely disinterested in talking to me on the phone when I wanted to complain about my order he says was busy and would call back and he didn’t. Now onto the food, if you can even call it that. It was a disgrace. Not only was it tasteless and bland, but it also seemed like it had been sitting out for hours before being served. The presentation was sloppy, and it was clear that no effort went into the preparation. To top it all off, the cleanliness of the food was disgusting Save yourself the agony and avoid this take away like the plague. It's a complete waste of time and money, and there are plenty of other places out there that actually deserve it. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

We ordered from hear before and the food was very good but this time we all had a terrible experience the chips were cold and stail the ribs were dry and hard the burger bun was soggy while there was a very thin chicken patty that tasted horrible but the worst part was the gravy as it was super watery and sweet thus was a very awful meal that costed 51 pounds we all had a very bad experience

Chips were cold and soggy. The batter of the chicken had no flavour, the blandness of the chicken accompanied by a soggy batter was such a let down. The chicken was raw for my wings, and the sauces tasted awful. Wouldn’t recommend.

Chips were soggy and soft and gross. The spicy chicken burger was the most disgusting I've ever eaten. Stale, tough firm old chicken meat, flaky messy batter. My stomach felt gross after eating it. Never going back here again

Food was standard, two chicken burgers were okay. The wrap meal lacked some spice and was kind of over done and missing a element of taste, same for the peri burger . Had plenty of peri wraps. The meals felt abit limp, frail and no umph to it. Chips standard, option of coke was nice to the meal but the meals were alittle on the pricey side of £8.50 to be standard, with it missing a peri zing to it, lathered in cheap mayo. I fancied some ribs but they were also dry with not much flavour. Food definitely needs work, if your looking for tasty, late week treat, perhaps go somewhere where effort is put into the food. More and more takeaways just seem to just serve mediocre food. We got fed , left full and meh.

I use to be regular customer few years ago. Food quality started to degrade dramatically. Everytime I use to order, I would request for fresh food. Always use to get low quality and cold food. So I boycott the Golden Fried Chicken. Few very close friends suggested that they have upgraded and I must try. So I tried the food again after 8 years. Unfortunately worst than before. The only upgrade was the Uniform! Now it’s a full stop for me never again. Extremely disappointed!

Absolutely poor burgers. Most expensive on cheetham hill road but the worst by far. Half flat chicken fillets, cold from inside, shady portion of chips and batter on the fillets falls off 2 mins later when dipped in spicy sauce.

It was my 1st time trying out golden fried chicken on cheetham hill, I went late on around 11pm and it has a lovely seating area and the place was very clean. I got the chicken burger meal with gravy and it did not dissapoint. Although i usually go philladelphias on the same road i just wanted to give these guys a try. The food was fresh and I love how they dip the chicken in a hot spicy sauce which jus gives it that extra flavour. The food price for the meal was £7.20 which is standard price nowadays. Very impressed with the kurdish brothers for doing a great job.
