Just had a takeaway delivery from Golden Express absolutely lovely meal,could not fault anything. Very tasty with great portions. Staff very polite,delivery driver very prompt and friendly. Would definitely recommend. Well done.

Ordered from here as our usual place was closed,although a lot of the reviews we read prior to ordering were really good we found the food was disappointing ,the pricing of the food was far cheaper then our usual place which was a positive but that price reflected the food. Food was on time and hot and definitely with some more attention could be a good Chinese. 5/10

Best takeaway I have had, very friendly people Good service and no quibble if there is an order issue, which is rare. All round I recommend giving them a try.

Would have been 5stars as the food is good and cheap and been using them for 10+ years had them 3x in last month however tonight I place £75 order which was accepted over 2hours! Later I heard nothing I call and be told its now cooking. I question this and say to cancel I now have to wait for the refund. I even said how much longer would we wait and he said they can't do it tonight. So made a whole family with multiple kidds here wait 2hours to be told your not getting food disgusting am shocked.

Definitely worth ordering . Was recommended by a friend who lives near by and wasn’t disappointed at all. Meal was a1 from starter the duck to the main will be back soon thankyou

Lovely food and staff are also friendly and helpful. Very reasonably priced too! I love a curry, but cany have it too hot, and they always make me a locely tasty mild one, would definitely recommend.

Very poor service. Food delivered cold and looked like not enough warmed in microwave. Won't be coming again.

Our first time from this place, it's not too far from us. It took a while to arrive and when it did the driver was apologetic about a mess in the bag and arranged a replacement. We enjoyed the food. It was tasty, crunchy, spicy, and aromatic. We will buy our next Chinese from here.

Would have given it a 0 if I could,I have used this Chinese for years and today ordered the same from here and my husband has got severe FOOD POISONING!!he has been so ill and throwing up so much he had the chicken curry!!AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!Makes me so angry and also paid £6 to get FOOD POISONING ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING

From the outside you don't expect much but the food is second to none and the portions are huge! Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Best Chinese food I've ever had. We come from London and tried them there, then moved to ipswich and tried all the different ones here. Golden express is way out in front. Can't recommend enough. We have been using them for years now and wouldn't go any where else. Try once and guarantee you won't be disappointed. Only trouble is when we keep recommending to people we now have to wait longer to get our food

Great takeaway. We've been using golden express for a while, only once have been slightly late. The next time I placed an order, they knew who I was and apologised again for the previous order being late. Exellent customer service and food to match.

Our regular chinese was closed and now we're pretty sure we won't be going back. The man on the phone and the woman who delivered were incredibly polite and very friendly. The food was reasonably priced and very good. Will definitely continue to use.

Chinese is one of my favourite dinners to have out and I have to say after 2 mouthfuls I couldn't eat the food on my plate. The rice was bone dry and had no flavour and the meat was so chewy and no flavour. Out of the whole meal the only thing I enjoyed was the chocolate cake. Waste of money.

I'm always very pleased with both the service and food here. It's so good, I drive past four other Chinese takeaways to get my order.

Best Chinese in Ipswich. Fast delivery and very reasonable prices. Very very tasty food and always hot, not lukewarm like some takeaway deliveries.

Try the house special curry, amazing flavours. If you ask for it spicy hot you get it, they don't just lob in some chillies which is what most of them do. BBQ spare ribs make a lovely side.
