Golden Express in North Hertfordshire

Was the most disgusting Thai we have ever had. Thai green curry was watery and chicken was obviously not fresh chicken, chicken fried rice smelt as though chicken was off took one spoonful and could not eat anymore, pad Thai the noodles were stuck and inedible. Telephoned restaurant to complain and was laughed at and told that there was no way we could be refunded for the food we could not eat. Found them rude and unhelpful. Would never return here. We will report them for sending food that is not up to standard. Would not recommend buying from here.

I wouldn't come here for authentic thai food. The place before was so good but it's gone down hill since. Pad thai - drenched in greasy sweet sauce. No lime and no crushed peanuts. Squid - weirdly thick which concerns me - I assume pre-bought frozen rather than freshly made. Also no flavour. Chicken satay - these were ok actually but I requested more peanut sauce and didn't get it. If you like thai, don't go here.

Best Thai in Hitchin and most reasonably priced. Most delicious flavourful curries, noodles and freshly made spring rolls that are to die for. Food is clearly made with love and care. Delivery is speedy and food arrives piping hot. My favourite part is that they put tiny enoki mushrooms in their curries which are delicious and adorable.

We had a take away from here yesterday. Weird vibes as we stood there for a long time before anyone came out to take our order. Based on previous reviews expected good food but was very disappointed with extremely watery green curry. It had consistency of soup, i expected something better.. The sticky rice was good but the portion was too tiny for the bowl of curry soup so had to microwave more rice at home. Half of the green curry soup went in the bin . It was the most weird green curry I've ever had. I'm afraid i won't be coming again..

BE AWEAR OFF THIS PLACE!!!!!!! Ordered online on their website and order was accepted for delivery at 6pm.....2 hours later no food delivered!!! Rang 10 times from mobile and land line no answer...will be contacting my card holder to report and get refund.

I ordered food for collection pad see ew with prawns but mistakenly they given me with chicken one. I called them back when came home they just delivered me prawns pad see ew with in 10 min with out any charge I’m just so happy about their services and food was too good thanks a lot.x

Great food, delivered in half an hour on a Saturday night. Green Curry & Jungle Curry. Had a right chilli kick as well. New weekend take away choice.
