Golden Dragon Takeaway in Cardiff

Singapore noodles were not vermicelli or rice noodles. Frozen peas and diced meat are in this dish. No sign of a prawn or fresh chilli. Tasted of curry powder. Prawn toast was soggy and tasteless. Salt and pepper prawns were like bullets and again, no sign of a fresh chilli.

Lovely delivery driver but really disappointed in this restaurant and the quality of the food. Wish I had read the reviews. The food was bland and greasy. The egg fryed rice tasted like boiled rice with a bit of egg in it. It is now in the bin.

This is the most disgusting quality takeaway I have ever had the misfortune of tasting. My £50 order was completely inedible and arrived an hour and 50 minutes after ordering. Do not order from this establishment. If I could give it zero stars I would. Horrible horrible food.

I have never eaten any takeaway as bad as this. In fact, we didn't even eat it as it was not edible. Raw vegetables, cold plain noodles and unidentifiable meat.... when we'd asked for vegan food. Seriously, this is an absolute shrine to dysentery. Do yourself a favour and don't ready here.

Kept seeing Golden Dragon on the Too Good To Go app so thought we’d give it a try. Paid £10 for supposedly £30 worth of food…but wouldn’t have even paid £5 for what we received. The order consisted of: about 15 very old looking chips, then tiny portions of bone-dry plain noodles, some sort of ?cashew chicken, gelatinous sweet and sour chicken (initially thought the chicken was tofu as it came in perfect cubes!) and greyish coloured mushroom fried rice. My husband will pretty much eat anything but even he couldn’t stomach this!

REALLY wish we read previous reviews! Took nearly an hour to deliver, the food was disgusting. Over all really poor service. When I tried to call the ‘restaurant’ (I use the term loosely) there was no answer. The only thing that was ok was the delivery driver was very polite and apologetic.

Thought I'd give this place a go as I'd seen it on the Too good to go app and thought for a tenner I'd ignore the negative reviews. They were right. The food is gross, tasteless, bland and rather sad looking. The amount of food I received via the app for a tenner was pretty much the same amount anyone would get for a tenner in any other Chinese takeaway, except you'd be able to choose the dishes and the place to buy it from. Expensive, paid £44 for food that didn’t arrive , several calls that weren’t answered . Driver of just eat rang 2and a half hours later to say he was lost so told him to take food back as too late . I’m still £44 down and no response from GD box awaiting just eat to investigate . Would never use again

The worst Chinese takeaway I have ever had. Do not order from here. It was over an hour late, missing part of the order and the ‘Quarter Aromatic Duck’ we ordered was a joke. Awful.

Driver delivery to wrong address and when I asked on phone driver said it was accepted of course it was accepted I paid for it strangers accepted it will not use these people again and have asked all my friends on Facebook to boycott this restaurant as just eat driver misdelivered it spoke to just eat and FairPlay got full refund from just eat

Ordered vegetarian lettuce wraps from the menu for almost £9 when they arrived they just send lettuce with no wraps. I called to ask for them to be sent out or a refund to speak to a very rude girl called Beth who told me there is nothing they could do so I should speak to just eat. Very unhelpful and poor service. I understand if you don’t have something but you should not of charged £9 for something you couldn’t provide.

Food is nice enough, but they messed up my order missing two things from it and their promotional offer. When I called to explain, they said they had no record of my order and that it wasnt their problem despite the fact they managed to get 90% of it right. Bit weird.
