Amazing food very polite staff.

Food is decent however I spent £20 and didn’t even get a portion of prawn crackers… I remember the days when they used to give crackers and spring rolls when you order a certain amount. The beef is mushy and soggy , very weird texture I didn’t eat the chow mein because I don’t trust that beef , the amount of beef to noodle ratio is way off anyway. Salt and chilli chicken was ok.

Ordered from here for years, sadly I have recently moved from my parents and now can not get this Chinese and I am failing to find anything that compares (but always order a cheeky one when I visit my parents ;))

Wanted barbecued spare ribs with extra sauce if what I had was with extra sauce I'd hate to have had the normal sauce...it was non - existent

Good food people behind the counter are kind and the menu has a vast amount of options

Very nice food and nice people who are running the place and I would recommend it to anyone who asked for a nice place to eat

Order from here multiple times a week! Have done for years. Amazing food and great staff. Can be busy sometimes and the wait has never been longer than 1 hour, but that's when it's busy. Always happy to correct anything I'm not happy with - very friendly and understanding. Don't let any bad reviews put you off 😊

Best Chinese takeaway there is. Recommend the Singapore Noodles and House Special in Oyster Sauce, it's the best I've ever had. 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Explain when you order your food and an hour passes and nothink? I pay for a service and receive nothink! I fone up to say the isn't ready but I have a driver waiting but really busy! Well utilise the driver! Over an hour and 20 minutes before the 2nd fone call and then the food came which was wrong! Never ordering from here again. Just carnt be honest or the quality of food can't be what I ordered. Local lad for many of years and tobe treated in this manner. I'm gona look else where!

First time ordering from this place, my usual Chinese restaurant was closed today Chicken chow mein was disgusting, no flavour and bland It was one of the worst chicken chow mein I’ve ever eaten Never again, I’ll stick to my usual place

Ordered some food tonight was really looking forward to a nice Chinese as haven’t had one in a long time an this place was a let down really disappointed with the food the chicken chow main was vile the was no taste to it the curry sause was horrible too an the sweet an sour sause the only nice thing was the crispy shredded chicken will never order from here again

Ordered tonight for my sister's birthday the food was delivered on time fresh and hot as my sister is a good all year round customer they sent her a free gift much appreciated

Had a few deliveries from here now, very consistent, friendly on the phone and when delivering, the portions are on the large side, we share 1 fried rice even though you get 1 free with each curry, the curry is spicier than others I've tried but that suits my taste. Overall I would definitely recommend The Golden Dragon Chinese Takeaway

Quick delivery, great food and great value for money

I love most of the food here. Its very tasty. However I ordered a vegetable chow mein this evening and asked for no mushrooms because I don't like them and they ignored that and put mushrooms in anyway.. very disappointing.

I've just tried Golden Dragon on Garretts Green Lane for the first time. I ordered King prawn curry, egg fried rice & salt & pepper squid. Absolutely delicious. I'll never use another Chinese restaurant again.

Food is great and always hot and delivered very quickly

Food is great....when you get it!! On three occasiins I've ordered extra mushrooms with a Special Curry, and I've found just two little pieces, not even a whole mushroom!! On one occasion, we waited over an hour, and when we phoned, they hadn't even picked up the order. Tonight I ordered stir fried mushrooms as an extra meal, and it just wasn't delivered with the order! Great food, but sadly, service recently has been a let down.

Just had the worst meal ever Ribs full of grease Special fried rice full of eatery rubbery chicken and no flavour It was delivered within 7 minutes of my ringing them no way is this fresh food AVOID AVOUD AVOUD Don’t waste your money rang ti ask for refund was met with bad manners and couldn’t care k ok Ed’s attitude

Do not order food from here under any circumstances they sent my food freezing cold then when I complained the lady on the phone told me by complaining my food isn’t going to get there any faster then they sent a second driver and when I told them I wanted my money instead of the food (because it was another 40 minutes and because the lady on phone was so rude ) they wouldn’t give me my money back so keep the money want be ordering again I should have ordered from the golden dragon on garrets green rd in the first place the foods better 🎅

Food wasnt cook properly eggs in rice was raw n so was the prawn and poor customer service

We always use this take away but the chips were cold and prawn crackers were stail

Would not recommend Golden Dragon.Second time Ive had a problem with my order from Golden Dragon. they do not have any customer service, and they always say that its the customer to blame. Luckily I had a copy of the online order to prove that they had got it wrong. I will NOT be ordering from them again. NO respect for customers what so ever.

Not the first time had a problem....but will be the last as will not return. Order arrived at 8.05 with a missing main, rang she apologised and said it had just left with the driver. Rang again at 8.20 and again at 8.40. She said it must be traffic we are a 5 minute drive away. The chinese was getting cold si had to start eating. 9pm still no duck & broccoli. Appalling customer service.

Fantastic curry allways busy but allways get your order on time well worth the money you pay never had bad food I allways phone and collect and its allways ready on time top job Golden dragon 5 stars from me 👍👍

Been here a couple of times now after it was recommended, food is good havent been disappointed and good portions too. Only issue is price a bit steeper than my regular Chinese.

Went for a takeaway & was shocked at how much they have increased the prices. The food is good but not worth the massively increased price. Will be looking for a new takeaway in future.

Absolutely disgusted they dropped my food in the shop below me as it was already paid for only found out food was delivered 15 minutes earlier to the shop below after phoning the takeaway to find out where my food was I even left instructions on my order to call me and I did this weekly with my order Who leaves your food with a shopkeeper by you with no contact with covid about atm this is the last time I will ever use this place and im going to make sure everybody I know no longer uses this takeaway either

Cant complain about the food, I have been using since they opened but they always increase prices, its been twice in less than a year. I said to the man thats twice you've done an increase recently and he said i believe so yes and laughed. Won't be going back.

Used to be my favourite, but the last 3 times I've collected the food has been cold. Sometimes it's a different chef, so the food doesn't taste as good. The prices have increased twice recently too. I won't be returning again unfortunately.

Order from here most Fridays. Normally pretty good untill now.pre order came a hour early with missing food. Called bk chef was rude. Receptionist was polite. Waited for our missing food for half hour called bk to be told they hadn't sent it out. Yet it was apparently my fault receptionist got the hump. Jokers

The chips were not great, neither were the prawn crackers. Delivery was fast.

Only been there a few times but as Chinese food goes, it was awesome. There was only 2 prawns in the special fried rice but I won't hold that against them

Ordered chicken king prawn curry was 3 pieces chicken 2 prawns curry sauce always had good service phoned told them as much called me a liver that 1 customer they lost also tell family friends not to order poor customer service

Collected our food. Very helpful on phone as it was our first time ordering. Only fifteen minutes wait. The food was delicious. My granddaughter had sweet and sour chicken balls and fried rice she was very happy with her large portions The chicken chow mein and spare ribs were tasty. Best take away we have had and at a good price.

Not bad food always tasty & hot but pity the chips are always over cooked everytime & thrown away.

Had portion of salt and pepper chicken 🐔 wings very filling. At £4 20 very good value.

The service was good and people are friendly. The food was ready quickly and was very hot with large portions. The kids liked it but my husband and I thought it was just ok. It could have been a bit tastier as I had to cover it all in soy sauce!!

Horrible food. Chow mein smells like pigeon loft, chips been dry and crackers taste like been made in 2018 !

EDIT - This place has changed as it seems they had either a great chef or great quality ingredients when they first opened. However the quality has dropped a lot. Food now tastes disgusting and when my delivery was messed up as i had been sent extra chips rather than chicken balls I was made to feel I was in the wrong. AVOID UNTIL THEY SORT THEMSELVES OUT. Great food great price and a friendly service. They deliver and offer discounts. Highly recommend the Salt and Pepper chips to add a little extra spice to your meal. Would advise to call and order before collecting as it can take a while to wait for your collection due to the high demand and also that the food is cooked fresh.

DO NOT USE , poor customer service, waiting times are pathetic, even when you ring the order through 1st, you still end up waiting 15 to 20 minutes. food always makes a family member ill. we have used the takeaway a few times as it is local. wont ever use it again. advise use the wok at the radleys and avoid spending the Saturday morning THROWING UP.
