Food was hot and tasty. Quantities just right. Delivery good.

Ordered food that never arrived tried to ring up but phone was engaged. Utter rubbish service with rude staff. Wouldn’t use them if they were free. Utter shambles.

Very poor i have never had a beef green pepper and black bean sauce so spicy and it was not very nice and it was late never got a sorry of the driver

Food was lovely really enjoyed it, would recommend a bigger pot of curry sauce for the chicken balls rice and chips tray tho as the pot is small for the big portion you get but all in all was fab!

Quality of the food was poor, an item was missing, we were offered a refund but wanted the item and was told it would be a 30 minute wait. The lady on the phone was rude and unhelpful.

the much box was horrendous!!! pork and s/p chicken were like cardboard and over cooked. spring rolls were soggy because they were covered in soggy chips... only 2 chicken balls!!!

Firstly the much box is a box of chips with very few bits of chicken.. not worth the money second. Everyone who ate any of it has been really poorly with a bad belly

crispy beef = wet soggy beef, lemon duck is mostly pineapple??!!! a little duck and a tiny bit of lemon. recommendation, sell what you advertise and nothing more or less. thanks

food was not cooked lady on the phone refused a refund and blamed me for the driver not being able to find the house even tho it was very specific as to where the house is customer service was vile and the food has made us all sick .

To be fair they don’t even deserve one star. I ordered food from Ubereats and I waited for 2 hours and my order didn’t arrive and when we called the restaurant they didn’t pick up and when they finally picked up they said the food was on the way and they called us but I never received any calls from them. And they won’t refund the money too. Very rude

Everything was great. However the driver tried to charge me more than the total it came to 40.70 and he was asking for 48.70.

Absolutely loved our food last night it tasted really nice! The only negative thing is I think the portion sizes could be slightly bigger.. but other than that it was lovely will definitely be ordering again!

probably the nicest tasting Chinese ive had for a while, but definitely not value for money. the much box had 2 chicken balls, 3 spring rolls, a couple of spare ribs which was more rib than meat and hardly any chicken. oh and 2 of the skiniest chicken wings I've ever seen, but a whole pizza box of soggy, sweaty chips, covered in green chilli, even though I asked for it to not have any, shame.

Ordered on deliveroo took 2 hours to arrive didn't deliver on the first attempt so sent back to restaurant then they microwaved it and sent it back ,also they argued with me over the phone and called me a liar when I said they didn't call when delivering as I live in a gated property wouldn't use again !

Disgusting - delivery driver decided he wanted more money for delivering so called us and refused to deliver unless the restaurant paid more money. Avoid at all costs

I purchased from here the first time last night. I ordered the Salt & Pepper munch box. Despite the food being warm, nice delivery driver the food was just about edible because there was far too much salt on the food, like someone had poured the whole salt shaker on it… making it too much aftwr a few bites. The Chow Mein however was delicious. It’s a shame, however think it might just be a mistake.

Ordered food 1hr and 20 mins still waiting.The driver went to the wrong house food arrived cold.Called them up to resolve the issue and the lady on the phone sounded uninterested and was very rude then tried to get me off the phone multiple times and had no solution.I was then told to call up another day to speak to the manager however will have to wait another week as the manager only comes in on Mondays.Will not be ordering again.Rubbish food along with their customer service.

I have been waiting for nearly two and a half hours for my order to be delivered. I called three times during this period after an hour, an hour and a half and two hours and each time I was told that my order had left the restaurant and would be with me in 5-10 minutes. Absolutely pathetic service. The order eventually arrived after two and three quarter hours and the food was actually very good

Food great but you have to wait over an hour for delivery now they do via uber or just eat. Unfortunately gone from regular customer 5 stars to never order from there again. Food warm not hot now.

This is by far the BEST chinese in Coventry. I would highly recommend Golden Dragon for the wonderful dishes (some favourites, the crispy duck with pancake rolls, the Beef with rice, spring rolls, chowmein) cooked to perfection!! Whats even better is the fantastic customer service and the kind extra prawn crackers given. Its the extra touches that make a place somewhere you go back to. I love the food and the quality and tender meat! 5 stars!! Do not hesitate to order! This chinese is very busy with lots of regular customers so its. MUST TRY!!! Thanks J and the team

We regularly use golden dragon and the food has always without as doubt been amazing. Always delivered in a reasonable time and the food is always really hot and fresh.

This is my favourite chinese in Coventry. Tasty dishes and big portions. All my family love it. I can honestly recomand this take away.

Ordered at 6 o'clock with us by 6.25 absolutely delicious have used this takeaway for years never had a bad meal.

Food always hot and on time I wouldnt go for the mixed starter thing with wontons and mini spring rolls as it's not worth 6 pound as it's very small thought it would have had normal sized spring rolls as didnt have small wrote in the menu but the curry and chow main was beautiful as always also cans of pop was warm and not cold.

Ordered via Foodhub at 19:22 - order confirmed, and was told would be 45 minutes. After several attempts to contact them (repeated messages saying that restaurant was on another line) and no success with Foodhub’s so-called ‘live chat’, demanded a refund. At 21:45, was sent a message saying that they were closed!

Never ordering here again!! ordered through just eat, got a call from the restaurant that the delivery is an extra 4 pound even though just eat said 1.50 and i paid above minimum order. i couldn't be bothered to argue so i said to reorder with different amount. waited an hour rang back and all they'd done was cancel the whole order. douchebags

I waited over an hour and a half For the food. The chips were under cooked and the restaurant got our order wrong. On phoning the take away I got told there were no drivers available to correct our order. It was only 8.45pm, not like closing time. Food poor Service very poor Will never be using this take away again

Myself and my husband have never eaten Chinese food and had a leaflet through the door and decided it was time to try, what an amazing first experience to Chinese food. We ordered the Kung po chicken, pecking chicken, pecking din sum, the food was delivered within half an hour, freshly cooked and tasted beautiful, we would like to say thank you for introducing us to Chinese food, we will be back to try more of your amazing cooking.

Not sure if they've recently changed chefs/management... We usually have great service from here with nice food... But tonight, my order was wrong (ordered crispy shredded chicken with no veg and then had to pick it all out) and both my rice and the chicken dish were virtually cold and pretty unappetising :-( My other half said his was ok, but I've said I won't be eating from there again.

Food was nice, promptly delivered but we got 2 chicken chow mein instead of 2 Singapore chow mein and short of a plain noodles. Having said that thanks for the customer service.

Lovely traditional curries, served by friendly staff. Lots to choose from and portions are quite reasonable too.

Have seen some reviews for here only giving 1 star? Well have been getting food from here for years and have never had any experiences that some people say they have had. When ordered over the phone or internet or even in person has always been quick service. The food has always been to a high standard and the prices are reasonable.

Bbq sauce water like. Chicken balls don't taste like chicken . Rice taste like chemicals.. Curry sauce not nice . Only went on reviews.. People's obviously don't no what a nice chinese is

Ordered tonight's dinner from here. Took an hour and a half to get here. All 3 dishes we had tonight looked and tasted like it had been frozen and reheated. Regardless, the food lacked flavour, looked dull, and was luke warm?! The chips were the only decent part about it. Thought we'd try this place after raving online reviews... either we had a terrible order or all the ravers don't have taste buds. It's not the worst Chinese but considering its costs and reviews, I expected far better than the rubbish we had tonight. After reading reviews, I was looking forward to all the amazing food! But just left with disappointment. Wouldn't recommend to a friend or return for another order.

Quite a few negative reviews on here about their delivery service which I cannot comment on but if you’re ordering in the shop for collection then it’s fine. Food is one of the best I’ve tasted for Chinese in Coventry if not the West Midlands. All fresh and hot and no complaints as of yet. Could do a lot worse than coming here.

I just ordered from here around an hour ago. I couldn't see how to leave a review on just eat. Food has already arrived and been eaten! It was piping hot which is great! Chips were lovely and sweet and sour chicken balls perfect. Delivery was so quick!! I hope their standards are always this high... It's deffinatly my go-to Chinese take away now. Just one suggestion that you have an option for a smaller portion at a smaller price, it's just me and my young daughter and it was slightly expensive and lots of food left over. But brilliant service and brilliant food! Thank you Golden Dragon

The reason was that they just simply decided to close for the night!! Absolutely disgraceful service, we didnt end up eating in the end until 9pm with no compensation. Please avoid this place, disgustingly rude service

used recently for a change as it's fairly near and we hadn't used it before. The food was good and they are very efficient. We would go here again. Nice rice and good curry

Having praised and recommended this take away to several friends I have to say we are very very disappointed with the delivery this evening .. We ordered 3 chicken dishes and 2 fried rices. The chicken was processed and stringy finished with the sauce poured over the top. The rice was cold and the mushroom fried rice had a distinctive bad smell to it... We will not be ordering from you in future .. £30.00 later and full plates of food we cannot eat...

We ordered from here on a Saturday night (3 of us) through Hungryhouse. It was delivered in half an hour and was hot. Food was nice I'd use it again.

I got a takeaway from Golden Dragon through Just Eat, it was ready within about 30 mins despite being a Saturday evening. Food was very tasty and a good price, would definitely go back again

Nice food, average portions and reasonable prices. I was quoted a 45 min delivery time which isn't great though. If you like Chinese, give them a try.
