Golden Delight in Leeds

After an hour and half I phoned to ask where my order was and was told it would be another half hour because of the driver, cancelled my order and have to wait 2 days for my money back, terrible service

My favourite chinese, love this place! Their chow mein, ho fun noodles, and udon noodles are all amazing, and you can really tell the chef knows what they're doing everything tastes like it’s been made with care. All the starters are spot-on too, especially the salt and pepper dishes seasoning is just right… The staff are super friendly on the phone and in person when I go to pick up my food. Honestly never disappointed with anything I’ve ordered here.

Omg I don’t normally order takeaways I normally go out for food but tonight G delight you delivered !! 😊 I ordered the tofu black bean sauce food was piping hot when delivered 🤯 the flavours were balanced perfectly the flavours that were incredibly everything was cooked with proper flavours you can tell the chef cares about what he sends out of his kitchen! From the rice to the homemade spring rolls defo RESTAURANT QUALITY FOOD!! Hands up hands down think I’m going to have to stop dining out and order from you guys from now on lool was sooo good I had to call the restaurant and tell them 😅😅

First and Last time I will order from here. Ordered Sweet and sour chicken cantonese style with fried rice, got clumpy fired riced with scrambled egg in the middle..... the chicken fried rice was only half chicken the rest were prawns...... good job I'm not allergic to seafood otherwise I'd be having a trip to A&E. Will not be ordering from here again.

Best Takeaway in the area. Curry sauce is amazing

I don't order takeaways often but it is usually from here, they have some great choices, generous portion sizes, they don't bulk with cheap stuff and it arrives quick. Also order via their website directly and you can add extra ingredients for a small fee

Never arrived said it was the wrong number and said they tried to ring it, it was the right number (i tripled checked this after) and they said a little girl answered 😂 when I rang they werent going to give me refund I had to keep asking and I finally got one. Still a bit ridiculous though 😭

First time I have been to this takeaway. Best special curry I have had in a long time. Even though there are others closer to me, this will be my go to from now on. Owners are lovely and very friendly.

the duck in plum sauce with rice is delicious 🤤 I recommend you get it the delivery time was good and the customer service was excellent 👍🏾

Orderd from here a few times now and the food is absolutely amazing allways hot this is now my favourite place to go for Chinese takeaway.

Food was absolutely disgusting…. Chips was warmed up from the night before…. Sweet and sour sauce was all over the cartons from spillage….the spare ribs were dripping from what looked like green grease……the dustbin ate mine!!! Worst ever takeaway I have ordered from.

NOTHING DELIGHTFUL ABOUT IT. Most disgusting thing I've eat would rather eat slugs it was awful chips were soggy, chicken was chewy and delivery estimate was 10:30 got it at 11:15 UNEDIBLE

I used to order from here all the time and the food was always early Or on time and red hot. But now twice on the throat the orders been really late. Nearly 2 hours we was waiting tonight. When it came 45 mins after apparently been with the driver on just eat it was like warm. The salt and pepper chips were runbbery and the salt and pepper chicken was tough. Also the chicken portions were small compared to what they used to be. £22 it cost for a cold meal that was awful. Won’t use these again. I thought the first time late was a one off but obviously not.

Best Chinese around, fresh food which is a nice change for a takeaway. Always happy to serve up my requests. Keep up the good work guys

4th time ordering, always left positive reviews, and enjoyed the food. Thought i’d found a good Chinese. Tonight was awful. The chicken was not fresh. This is how many pieces I received I did not eat one piece of full chicken, it tasted strange, old and smelt funny. Did not taste like it usually does. My chips were reheated for sure, they were black and old. You can even see this from the photo. My food was not fresh tonight. Last time ordering from here I feel sick. I am usually quite reasonable but one thing I cant stand is being served OLD food. That can be helped and is completely unnecessary to do so. Wasted my money as I ate hardly nothing - the onions were fresh and tasty though.

Disgusting customer service, it seams that they think that is acceptable to to be a chef down and not cook what you order and to have to wait two and a half hours for your delivery ( this is supposed to be fast food) and when you say that you have waited long enough and you want the order cancelled that you don’t deserve a refund, we will not be ordering from this takeaway ever again and are not happy with just eat either as they also seem to think that waiting two and a half hours is fine. The takeaway also had the cheek to say that we shouldn’t have waited until the food was delivered to cancel the order, the fact is we were on the phone cancelling the order and cooking our own food when the order arrived and how long were we supposed to wait should we have given them another hour or two, it was just a coincidence that the driver showed at they time

Ordered for the first time the other night and order was 15 minutes early.polite and cheerful delivery driver.food was red hot and everything was delicious.thankyou.

Disgusted. Ordered from here and the order was accepted. Over an hour later it was just cancelled by the restaurant with no explanation given. Absolutely disgusted with the service and certainly wont be risking another order. Disgraceful.
