Estimated time was 45-50 minutes but delivered in 10 minutes..Not informed! I was busy, rushed to open the door..Ended up with rude delivery driver!

Always order from here regularly. Yesterday the food was very late, cold and our half crispy aromatic duck was extremely salty!? Very disappointing as usually always spot on.

The vegetarian duck and vegetarian chicken were amazing!

Salt and pepper aubergine was superb. Squid was good. Others meat dishes ok-ish but biggest disappointment was that the duck was all so crispy and cremated it was almost inedible, like wood shavings. The satay sauce chicken had no trace of peanuts in it, no spices-ness and had chunks of pineapple. Don’t really understand why the chicken and beef needed sliced carrot in the sauce.

Food wasnt that bad, but the portions were half minimalistic. I was in shock with sweet and sour box came half box empty (not the cheapest around). I called and he said thats their portions and nothing they can do, having asked for no onions due to allergy reasons he said without onions that what the portion came to! really!! how about throwing in some peppers instead? dissapointed

I usually order from this restaurant without any problems but my order came 1 hour and a half late the driver explained he wasn't at fault but the restaurant takes alot of orders but still this is unacceptable and i will think twice in ordering again on a friday evening

Thank you for the food it was great as usual. Just a few things were below your best, the curry sauce was quite cold by the time it arrived and there were no prawn crackers included even though we paid well over the complimentary price. We were given an extra bag of small spring rolls which we did not order but they were a welcome replacement to the crackers. The poor delivery guy had to call me as he couldn't manage the stairs with a sore knee, this was good to know as I will make sure to include that we are two stories up in my delivery notes next time. Over all, lovely food with a much healthier feel than most Chinese take aways around here. Thank you, I will be ordering again.

First time ordering from here. Was a bit skeptic but everything i ordered was extremely delicious- salt & pepper squid, quarter duck, lemon chicken, prawn fried rice, even down to the free veg spring rolls were sooo nice...delivery was earlier than expected aswell. Would def order again! :)

Fast delivery. Food mediocre but we were VERY disappointed that we did not get the free prawn crackers that is advertised if you spend over £15. This is very annoying as we specifically wanted prawn crackers but didn’t order any as our order was £35 and we should have been given them free as heavily advertised by them

Poor quality food. Prawn toast was just like eating cardboard saturated with fat. The wontons we ordered had no filling and were just a plateful of over fried filo pastry. Squid ordered was tasteless but smelt very fishy, ended up throwing most in the bin. Despite order coming to a total above £25, think charging for delivery is appalling. Arrived late, although why it was such a long wait for what we had, We have no idea. Chose this on the list as it was considered a local legend. Extremely disappointed and will not be ordering from them again.

Most of the food was ok but i ordered chicken satay and what i arrived i have no idea. It was slimy thin slices of something but not chicken. It has actually put me off ordering from them in the future.

Good customer service, they kept in touch as we had a very big order (~£150) and arrived only 5-10 minutes after the predicted time. Food was all correctly delivered and tasty

Delicious. Not sure about the prawn satay, should it have been in a sauce with onions peppers and pineapple chunks? Luckily whatever it was it tasted good so a satay sauce was hardly missed.

We had no used China City for a while but the food was excellent so it will be our go to restaurant for Chinese food.

Driver shouldn't have knocked on my window roughly and Szechuan chicken could have been better

Food was early which was nice. Food wasn't awful per se, just not what I was expecting at all. I mean if you're after a healthy Chinese this place is great - I literally tasted nothing but water. That said the quality of the food was ok. Nothing particularly wrong, just not what I wanted or was expecting - I ordered egg fried rice that was only boiled, not fried, and chow meIn that was v watery. The sweet and sour sauce was ok, and was the only thing that bade my whole meal edible. Chicken balls were pretty a-ok. Don't order the crispy chicken. No beef at all

Impressive delivery time, delicious food, happy customer.

Their food is excellent, which is why they are my first choice for my Chinese, if there was any I would ask to change/ improve on, would be their sweet and sour sauce itself, it needs to be a lighter colour, and less vinegar.

Another fantastic meal from Golden City! I cannot fault them; they have been our favourite takeaway for years. I find the food incredibly consistent; it is always so tasty and I know when I order from them I'm in for a good night :)

Food was great. Noodles a lil salty but that a just my preference. Food was really hot and got here super early as I live close by but would definitely recommend and order again.

When ordering it said delivery time was 45 minutes, but the food came in 10 minutes so was super quick. I ordered duck in ginger and grilled chicken in garlic Peking. The food definitely lacked oomph and flavour. The chicken was just some sort of battered chicken in a limp slightly sweet sauce, didn't seem grilled or had any garlic in it. The duck was slightly tastier as a dish. Probably wont order from here again unfortunately.

Had better from this take away but it was okay.

The duck in plumb sauce and egg fried rice were really nice, but the chicken that came with the noodles wasn’t nice quality and we ended up not eating most of it. Shame as the noodles and everything else was nice.

crispy chilli beef is probably the best I've had in London.. very crispy! only downside is the portion is quite small.

The food was delivered 10min earlier. Which was great. The taste of the food was great the only thing we did not liked was the nuddles some of which tasted and looked like not cooked at all. Apart of that everything else was great.
