The fried udon was great. The service was extremely efficient. Perfect for casual vibes and quick eats in a lovely location.

Food not too good wouldn’t recommended place looks like it needs decorating and an electrical nightmare there was plugs and sockets looking untidy and overloaded. you have to walk past this to get to the rear restaurant area which didn’t look clean

We loved the food , situated in very convenient and beautiful area of lower marsh street.Tried the bulgogi and bibimbap. Both pretty awesome in taste and quantity. Sitting felt little cramped specially since we had a toddler.

Cool little spot for lunch. Very friendly and quick service. Great selection of Korean drinks. Fruit Soju, so refreshing and intoxicating. Pork bulgogi was spicy enough without being overpowering. Really nice glass noodles. Something for everyone on the menu and so many choices I want to come back soon to try more.

Great little restaurant off of a bustling street. My partner and I shared beef bulgogi and pork noodles which we would highly recommend! The food was tasty and came out quickly, and the service was great. Would recommend for those looking for something a little different

I visited the Battersea rise branch to pick up a take-away. The food was very salty and the portion is really on the starter side, not a main. Tried, tested, won't go back.

Dreadfully poor effort veggie udon noodles with about 10g (if that) of vegetables for nearly £10! Why not add tofu at least?! Even then, shouldn't be on the menu, worse than a takeaway dish.

Rude male staff. I arrived at 12:50 and wait for about 20 minutes, it was just 13:15 but he said their kitchen are closed. If you don't open why do you let me wait outside???? And on Google, they said the closing time is 15:00. Why the lies? Very bad experience. When I had waited for about ten minutes I looked in front of the shop and an Asian male waiter told me to wait outside first. When I went in, he said that the kitchen was closed and blamed the Waitress who brought us in. I mean, Hello???? It's not her fault, it's your fault! I curse the waiter who bullied the girl to be unlucky for the rest of his life and never to be happy. People like you who push their mistakes on others will never succeed. Your life is a failure. It's bullies like this that I hate the most! Male waiter if you read this comment you must reflect on yourself and apologize to that Waitress, you really suck!

I was really excited to try a meal here after seeing so many Koreans eating in there. I bought a takeaway that was supposed to have pork in it but it had a piece of pork the size of a pea and a portion of rice together with the main dish which was harsh, unsophisticated and super hot. Really disappointed and won't be going back.

We had booked a table but when we arrived we were told there had been a mistake and we would have to wait (thankfully this was not long!) The food was pretty nice but we were rushed by the staff serving us. Our plates were removed even before my sister had taken her last bite and then were swiftly served with the cheque. It didn't feel welcoming, more that they wanted us to leave as quickly as possible to get more customers in.

Visited clapham branch for takeaway. Fried chicken pieces were bites not chicken pieces like most Korean restaurants. Were dry chewy not crispy and small. Asked if the fried squid n pork was crispy fried dish. Server said it was but was a stew type meal. Although flavour for this was nice not what was asked for. Portion for the tteokbboki was small but flavorful. Seafood pancake was just ok. Would not revisit.

Have been before and thought good authentic food. This time horrible, pickles dull, cold soup tasted of vinegar, dull Chinese style dishes unlike anything ever eaten in Korea. Service poor. Doubt I’ll go again.

Great authentic Korean spot. Not fancy but the food is quick and of good quality. Good prices and friendly staff. Have been several times now. Does get very busy so be prepared to wait sometimes.

I was pleasantly surprised by this little Korean restaurant. Doesn't look "WOW" on the outside but the food is absolutely delicious! I really enjoyed my dinner there...sorry we got so engrossed in the food we forgot to take photos of the dishes before we attacked them! :p

A small a intimate joint with incredible food at fair prices. One of the best meals I have eaten in a very long time (beef bibimbap, kimichi pancake and veggie dumplings). Will be back very soon!

I came here with a friend and the food came quickly, I had kimchi pancake and bibimbap and both were delicious especially the bibimbap because the bowl was hot enough to really make the rice crispy. Also tried soju for the first time and really liked it, they had a good range of flavours and I really had a great time. The service was also very good as the waiter was so nice. Really recommend, will come again.

I use to take some of the kids to Pocha on Saturdays. The food is so yummy and the service is great. The staff are very nice and helpful. My children love it and we love it too.

Best Korean in London. Reasonable price and tastes like food from Korea, they haven't ruined the flavour by altering it to suit the English. Atmosphere and surroundings are simple and un-fussy very like many places I have eaten in Korea.

Dinner with my daughter. The place was packed, we got the last table. Folks were lining up outside. Overall very good experience, although i do not have a lot of reference for korean food. Staff was very nice.

I have visited London on several occasions and stayed near to go go pacha I had never had Korean food before so thought I would give it as go I found the menu a bit hard to understand as i had never tasted Korean food before but I found the staff where very helpful in explaining it. The prices on the menu where every reasonable. When the food arrived I was very surprised I loved all the new flavours that jumped out. I tried this the first time I stayed In London and i make sure I visit it every time since a d try another's dish. Every time I have been there it has been full and people cue outside to go In but never for long. I would recommend this place to everyone to go even if it's just to exsperiance the new tasteds

Visited on Thursday with friends. The food was amazing, very tasty, large portion and very reasonable for London! Service was very quick and friendly. Will definitely be going back. Worth booking as people outside were queuing.

Esta fue mi primera visita a un restaurante coreano y no tenía idea de qué esperar. Al final resultó que, esta fue una de las comidas más sabrosas que comí fuera durante un tiempo. Tuvimos el Kimchi y el Bibimbap con tofu, además de albóndigas vegetarianas en el lateral. Todos los platos estaban muy sabrosos una vez que agregué un poco más de salsa chili a mi bibimbap.

The place specialises in the quick, cheap dishes as you would guess from the name (pocha is a little street food place you get a lot in Korea). It is really excellent, if you manage to get a seat! My recommendation if you are in a group or more than two us to go for a big pot dish to share with a few bowls of rice - they're the tastiest and it's probably going to work out quite cheap!

Wasn't planning on this one, but my brother-in-law took us there and I was pleasantly surprised. They had bulgogi, I had chicken and cheese. Both were good. Nice spot!

If you’re after a quick lunch and don’t want to spend too much this can be the place for you. Am not a Korean food expert so no judgement about authenticity. But the seafood pancake was decent as well as the ramen. Nothing exceptional.

Do restauracji dotarliśmy w niedziele w porze obiadowej. Blisko centrum. W środku było już sporo Klientów-czego się spodziewaliśmy. Karta z menu była dość obszerna jak na tak małą knajpkę. Zamówiliśmy trzy dania z karty lunchowej: bulgogi, bibimbap i kimchi ranem. Dania zostały podane dość szybko, jak na ruch weekendowy. Na pierwszy „ogień” poszło bulgogi. Bardzo dobre w smaku, słodkawe, wyraźne. Duże kawałki wołowiny, które były podane z ryżem szybko zniknęły z talerza. Drugim daniem był bibimbap, który okazał się suchy w strukturze i bez wyraźnego smaku. Jedyną częścią ratującą danie były marynowane pikle. Na koniec-kimchi ramen. Ramen niestety tylko z nazwy. Zupa był strasznie ostra, w kimchi nie czuć było kiszonki a jedynie ostrość. Makaron był z gotowego woreczka (popularne dania błyskawiczne), bulion- bez smaku a jedynie ostry. Niestety nie udało nam się tego zjeść pomimo jedzenia pikantnych potraw na codzień.

When I went to Waterloo station, I needed to find somewhere to have a meal. And I found this restaurant and ordered Jjampong and griilled dumping. Unfortunately, the soup of noodle meal tasted instant ramyen. Dumping was not bad cuz I think it was also an instant product. I can’t insist that all food is not good, but probably people from Korea would be disappointed with the taste.

My first time ordering from this place, i ordered the kimchi pancake from deliveroo. It came totally black on both sides of the pancakes, burnt. A complete waste of 7 pounds!

Este es un restaurante bastante pequeño y acogedor que parece siempre popular, en particular entre los coreanos y los jóvenes. Surprising this was our 4th choice for a Korean place near where we were staying, we soon worked out why. All small restaurants where the de facto language at work was Korean. The food was basic but excellent. Seafood pancake was excellent, Jiap Chye was so good we order seconds. The big seafood stew was good, even the BBQ marinated ribs was excellent despite it being grilled beforehand.

This restaurant provides the authentic Korean food with reasonable prices. It is not easy to find budgeted food in the London city and also fulfill your hungry stomach. Love it 😍

Sind dort durch Zufall vorbei gelaufen und da ich Julian koreanisch Essen sind wir auf hineingegangen das Restaurant ist klein und das Ventilatoren an der Decke. Im Sommer sollte man versuchen dort in der Nähe von einem Ventilator zu sitzen. Es ist absolut ein Highlight gewesen. Das beste Restaurant was ich in London besucht hatte. Ich hatte Bulgogi und meine Frau Bibimbap. Ich hätte mir am liebsten eine zweite Portion bestellt, das Kimchi war ein Traum. Aber eigentlich war alles ein Traum. Das beste koreanische Restaurant wo ich bisher gewesen war. Ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen Preisleistung ist super , vermisse es jetzt schon.

I have visited this place for the 4 or 5 consecutive time whenever I’m in London for a annual conference. Even Korean friend thinks its authentic. The price is super affordable. However, please note that the service and restaurant environment are not the selling point.

Tried this spot for lunch, it's quiet and unassuming from the outside, and the interior is painted black - very minimalist....but it emphasised that this place is all about great food.

We work nearby and often come here for lunch, washed down with green tea and a side order of extra kimchi. The lunch menu is tasty and very good value.

La calidad era como fideos jajangmeyon instantánea y porción era de aproximadamente 1 / 3 de típico que sirve. También sabía horrible. Ambos platos fueron la peor comida coreana he probado. No sé por qué. Este no es un típico de calidad que te dan en un restaurante coreano. Soy un coreano, así que sé cómo la comida debería saber y lo que se considera de buena calidad. No puedo recomendar este restaurante. Sin embargo, si alguna vez aquí, evita estos dos platos.

Pasamos todo el día en Londres y nosotros sólo queríamos una cena rápida y barata al lado de la estación de tren. Pedimos salmón teriyaki (enorme plato de carne) y marinado con salsa de soja. Fue muuuuuuuuuuy buena! ! ! Y fue muy barato en comparación con Londres (salmón era como 8 libras) Lo recomiendo totalmente si eres amante de la comida asiática. Pruébalo, no te arrepentirás.

Fuimos allí en una noche fría y tuvimos una comida estupenda! Era la primera vez que pruebe la cocina coreana, así que no puedo tener una opinión tiempo este era original o no, pero había muchos clientes coreanos y eso significa mucho. Me encantaron todos los gustos y el servicio era muy servicial! El único problema era que no tenía buen ventilador y nuestra ropa olía como restaurante. . .

Vinimos aquí con una noche de viernes. Tuvimos que esperar un poco, pero se las arreglaron para poder acomodarnos a una mesa de esquina. La comida aquí es bastante auténtica. Recomiendo cualquiera de los grandes estofado! Los huevos hervidos y los panqueques también están bien. Tienen con un poco de soju.

On Lower Marsh in Waterloo, is a gem of a restaurant serving good quality Korean food. Don't be put off by the slightly ramshackle appearance of the building and the cartons piled up inside, if it is good quality kimchi etc you want, at a reasonable price, this is the place for you.

We stumbled upon this place with the kids and were quickly seated. The kids loved the noodles and my wife and I tried a few dishes, all of which were freshly cooked, really tasty and interesting. Service was fast and friendly. Will definitely go back.

Este lugar tiene un menú de almuerzo 6 Libras que viene con un plato pequeño de sopa miso, lados: escabeche algas y sésamo soja china y el plato principal. Petit restaurant familial, modeste mais très populaire car d'excellent rapport qualité prix, choisi pour sa proximité avec le théâtre Old Vic. Quelle belle surprise! Plat de riz et émincé de poulet avec une sauce originale aux cacahuètes servi en moins de cinq minutes. Service très efficace et souriant, nourriture délicieuse, arrosée de thé au jasmin. Il faut y aller assez tôt de préférence, il y a ensuite une queue devant l'établissement!

We had planned to go to Maries which was shut so ended up here. I had noticed it before but because it did not have food hygiene rating on display and it looked like a dive I'd avoided it.

First I have to claim that I did NOT eat in the restaurant (so the food here can be extremely good and the staff can be extremely nice). The only reason why I am reviewing here is that my booking for 30 got cancelled last-minute yesterday without any notice.

I came here with friends. Service was friendly and not pushy. We had bibimbap and it was delicious - the raw beef was tender. One friend had vegetarian udon which was apparently a bit salty but perhaps not the place to order udon...

This is very good value for money. Hyper efficient service; good range of food; less varied on drinks. I had spicy barbecued pork: very tender, well flavoured. It's quite an intimate space, but quite atmospheric.

I had stone beef bulgogi bibimbap which was served hot. The beef was tender and plentiful and the rice was cooked just right. I do wish there was more veggies on the dish though. The service was great and the casual atmosphere is ideal for a quick meal.

Have visited a couple of times at lunch for their £6 set menu which includes a small bowl of miso soup, a seaweed and bean sprout salad and a choice of main meal.On the last occasion I had the spicy squid dish which arrived really quickly (great for a visit on a work lunchtime) and was plentiful and tasty. Only niggle was the food could have been a little hotter in temperature, but I guess that's the trade off for the speed in which it arrives.Would definitely recommend for someone who wants a different lunch from the usual Pret sandwich.

As I was staying nearby I ended up at GoGo Pocha, not really knowing what to expect. It's a small, functional, basic place and looked interesting. Having eaten there (though I don't really know, of course - not being Korean myself) it seemed authentic. I had very friendly service and chose the rice dish with tofu and vegetables in the photograph. I was given the option to have it with or without a raw egg on top. I thought 'In for a penny, in for a pound!' and really enjoyed it! The prices are very reasonable and I would certainly eat there again.

Conveniently located near Waterloo, this small diner serves simple and tasty Korean food at very reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit.

Four of us came for lunch. The glass noodle was good and the beef Bulgogi was a bit sweet. But my udon noodles were very very salty and when I return the food, it was not a fresh dish but a re hashed one. I knew it because the two remaining prawns had shrunk and the squid had shrunk. See photo. Still too sweet. Disappointed with this popular restaurant the way they treated guest who complained. No apologies offered.

Everything we had was delicious - especially the glass noodles with beef and the kimchi. We will be back!! Great service and good atmosphere for couples or friends.

4 of us were passing so we called in to this authentic looking Korean restaurant on the spur of the moment. We were not disappointed. Excellent food in down-to-earth surroundings with friendly and fast service at reasonable prices. What's not to like? We shared kim chee, chicken dumplings and the vegetable dumplings to start with washed down with Hite Korean beer. For mains we tried fired chicken with vegetables and cheese, fried udon with beef, fried prawns and egg fried rice plus there are plenty of vegetarian options. All the food was very enjoyable full of flavour and spices. It seemed we were the only non-Korean customers too which is always a good sign. Great meal.

I was there with my partner for quick dinner on Saturday evening.The place was almost full but the food arrive after only 5-10 minutes and it was stunning! Delicious, maybe slightly too spicy. The atmosphere in this place is absolutely amazing. I had impression that I am in some futuristic restaurant like from " The 5th element" movie ( Korean pop in the background!!!) I hope to visit it again as it is definitely worth it.

Popped in here after some searching for local restaurants. Was busy but we had a table near the door for two - the wait wasn't long for those behind us due to the efficiency of the service. The food came quickly and was very fresh - tasted great (would recommend the Kimchi Pancakes!) and it wasn't expensive. If you're looking for something different this is a real find :)

This is a small and cosy restaurant with limited seating areas. So if you are able to be there just before they open for lunch, that'll be ideal. Quick service and efficient, for 5 pounds, you get a delicious lunch set. They have other dishes on ala carte as well. Will definitely visit again.
