Best pizzas in Nottingham!!! Fresh ingredients and not cheap either (you can tell from the quality) chicken strips and chips are better than kfc!!! So good and great service from the guys :)

At roughly 19:50 I ordered from them ( I am a 10min drive/2miles away) and after 1 and 1/2 hours I had to ring up as I was wondering where my food was as I was quoted at most a 1 hour wait. It turns out they cancelled my order and never bothered to tell me as the "location is too far away", I received no call or email from them stating that it was cancelled plus if it was the case that I was too far for them to deliver then why was I able to order from them in the first place? The thing that got me the most was that they basically blamed me and told me it's 'its your problem' when I rang up asking what was going on because I never received the non-existent cancellation email (received all the conformation emails though) and that I shouldn't be ordering from so far away (again I was allowed to order on their site in the first place). If I would give a 0 star I could.

Short version - one of the best takeaways I've used, hands down. I wasn't sure what to order at the time, so I browsed a few different places - and I was struck, not just by the overwhelming positive reviews for Godfathers Pizzas, but that they also replied to every single review! The food arrived early, and the Chicken Strips were exceptional. Burger and fries were decent, and the pizzas were great. I will 100% be ordering from here in the future. To the owner - you should rightly be proud of your food and service! Thanks

The pizza base was too salty and there was more cheese then any other topping. Never ever going to this takeway again. I know alot about Italian foods and this place does not sell proper Italian pizza. I know what is a proper Italian pizza one I am Italian myself too to I work in my own Italian restaurant yourself if you want to Killing yourself with salt this is the place for you.

This got delivered to us this evening. Rang to discuss and despite having ordered from Godfathers for years, the man on the phone was disgusting and outrageous, before then hanging up. Cheap and ok food but AVOID.

Best American style pizza in Nottingham. Chicken wings are absolutely delicious. Restaurant never fails to deliver all items on time. Staff are always friendly and polite whenever they see you, even if not at work. They have been my favourite pizza shop for as long as I have lived in Carrington. Would give them 7 out of 6 on everything.

I have been ordering pizza from this place for years, I recently called to make an order and politely told the man that the pizza I ordered last time was properly made, please could this one be done properly. he rudely told me.... he makes about 900 pizzas a day, if I do not like the pizza I should not order it! I responded saying if a customer complains all you have to do is say okay and inform the chefs, he then said if you do not want the pizza I won't make it. I said alright don't make I will never order anything from this place. PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED

Quick service, great price, delivered hot, great toppings BUT why oh why is the pizza base soft like a pancake? I have opted to reheat half in the oven tomorrow with the hope that the base will harden. Such a shame as flavours are great.

Fantastic food however would appreciate if the restaurant would abide by the T&C’s set in its guide to the Buy One Get One Free offer. Specifically went for stuffed crust so I wouldn’t get the pizza, but still ended up with another anyway. Don’t write it if you can’t follow it.

I haven't had a pizza that nice in ages. Piping hot; a good amount of topping, and the sides were great too. Definitely consider buying from this place again.

Had fries and chicken strips with sweet chilli sauce dip. Fries where nice. The chicken was ok but the coating is different to what it use to be. not so nice and crispy. The dip tasted very vinegary and not very nice

I've ordered from these guys for years - they know me by voice on the phone. Great value and amazing pizzas. They often throw in little extras once you've been going there a while. Recommend phoning in though as they don't hit you for £3 delivery... yeah I'm looking at you just eat.
