Worst large chicken kebab i ever had. 12 £ for 6 small pcs of chicken. Scam scam scam. Avoid

Food almost cold, pitta not warmed up, salad very poor. Asked for garlic dip and got butter????. Also expensive. Will be going back to pizza city which we used for 3 years without any problems.

Very disappointing tonight no cheese on chips wrap fell apart & girlfriends pizza burnt not happy at all normally good

Cooks are stupid, pizza was dropped and sent to me anyway, should be ashamed of their business and service to paying customers, no wonder they have so many bad reviews, grim.

Used them for years but last three times the food has been sub standard. Kebab meat dry with odd taste, mixed kebab swimming in grease and pizza over cooked to point of been burnt that turned into hunt the topping (meat feast) three strikes and your out will order elsewhere from now on

Food has most of the time been ok just don't order when they have just opened but the prices they charge now is much more then other takeaways which is why I've stopped using them they will outprice themselves

would put 0 stars if i could… all p3rvs in there and absolutely horrible to staff. delivery drivers don’t have a licence aswell. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Food - edible, I've had worse Service - slow but reasonable Atmosphere - ok a bit chilly My expectations were low but "Free garlic bread" charged at £1.60 !? Why? Don't ask me if I want the free garlic bread and then charge me, tell me it's £1.60 and I'll pay it or turn it down. Are you actively trying to kill your business?

Absolutely disappointed. Orderd option 1 (3 10 inch pizzas and x2 chips) arrived within 40 minutes which was good but the food was terrible. All pizzas were bone dry with the toppings thrown together by an incompetent fool. All pizzas were cut terribly. X2 pizzas were put in the bin. What a waste of money. Extremely disappointed and will not be ordering from there again. Advice to anybody thinking about ordering from here, DONT!

Ordered food paid £7 for a tray of donor meat literally put it in the smallest tray last time I’ll be ordering from here been using you years aswell

Very expensive for what I got, ordered a chicken kebab, with a Pita and garlic sauce. chicken was squidgy (didn’t seem to be fully cooked) tasted a bit bland and paid £8 for about 3 bits of chicken, would not even bother ordering from this place. Was terrible

Just got home, I Ordered Mexican burger, got a plain cheeseburger ??

God awful! Tasteless fish in old batter, there are far better places to eat, just don’t do it to yourself.

Recently Ordered a calzone pizza from holderness road shop. It came as a folded pizza, very salty and greasy. This is not a proper calzone and was more like a super sized cheese toastie, Will not use again as there is plenty of better takeaways in the area.

After placing an order food turned up with no pizza manager said he would send it out but we would have to pay for it . Sorry but i have already payed for it he would not budge so will never use these again food wasnt great either much better about

Ordered Donna meat and chips was absolutely disgusting Donna meat awful, chips had a funny taste, spicy tomato bread was falling to peaces not fresh bases at all ,ham mushroom pizza the same tasteless 🤢

I used to used Godfather for years, today I made an order but my partner didn't like it, so I called the shop to cancel it, they said I can't do it as the driver it's on the way ( max 10 min) after an hour I called the shop to realise my order was cancelled as , according to the driver lights were on but nobody home- Such a Joke .......

Only got 1star cos 0 wasnt an option, disgraceful manner on the telephone, arrived 1hr50mins after ordered what a way to run a buisness 1st and last

I order from godfather all the time but lately its been disappointing ordered at 730 rang them at 845 they said it be 5 mins away turned up at 910 chips were cold and stail kebab meat wasn't hot and parts were dry its starting to go down hill possibly give them 1 last chance as food is normally good

Order a lot but now tired of getting food 1 hr an half later cold dry not enjoyable trying to find a new place gone down hill buck your ideas up

Awful experience, took almost 2 hours to arrive and didn’t even include the extras I paid for and no chips spice. This is the second time in two weeks it had arrived almost 2 hours late! It has gone downhill this last year.

Waited an hour and a half for order to be delivered, rang three times and was told it was out for delivery. When it arrived was asked for the money for the order which I had already paid on card over the phone, young girl insisted it had a not paid for slip but never showed it to me. Rang the shop and they told me to put the girl on the phone so they could tell her it was paid for. Half the order was wrong, no salad, sauces and the chicken wrap was disgusting went straight in the bin. This is the second time I have been asked to pay for the order when using this place which had already been paid by card on the phone. Won't be using again or recommending

They take forever to deliver for someone who lives 5 mins way improve the delivery 😡

Stupid place got our order wrong..after reading it back to us ..and then hung the phone up..when we rang them to sort out the wrong order..bad customer service very rude..will never been ordering again

Godfather used to be lovely, I ordered godfather for the past 5 years and everything was perfect. I ordered today a chicken kebab with a salad included and a 10 piece chicken nugget, and I always get a garlic bread even when I don't ask for one. I know it's nice to get free garlic bread but I don't need one as I never eat it. I asked to swap the garlic bread out for a salad but they said its not allowed and that they don't do things like that which I really don't understand.

Food hot and on time maybe not best but deffo lot worst so well worth money

Ordered food, was an hour late, called they said it was just leaving, then called again and they said we didn’t order…. Wouldn’t bother. Want your money then just not take any ownership. Then call you and become abusive

Been twice and had a calzone both times, enjoyed it both times. Had alot better but was still nice and filling, would try again.

Ordered from here for the 1st time, I got a standard pizza and chips. Now i wish i hadn't have wasted the money. Chips were hard and full of chip spice, the pizza that i got was practically burnt and tasted disgusting. i left most of it. Will definitely not be ordering from here again. Don't waste your money.

Until tonight I've never had no problems with godfather takeaway holderness road. I ordered on just eat and my deliberly said it was on its way at 21:45 during mind my order wasn't due until 22:10. Didn't arrive and then recieved an email saying my order and deliberly was cancelled.

Just received my mixed kebab very disappointed I have not had one for a while but used to come with roasted peppers and onions tomatoes and mushrooms all of that is gone and even less meat which was very small scraps which where dry and over cooked it now seems like a lot less value when the price is higher I won’t be ordering one again at nearly ten quid.

until tonight they were 4 stars .... but tonight everything exceeded the limit of patience how do you wait after an order 3 hours? we understand that it is crowded but to call and receive an answer that in 15 minutes and come back after 30 minutes with a phone call and we must be understanding that it is weekend and Christmas (we are on December 4) and wait another 20 minutes and look so 3 hours passed for the order that had to be delivered in 45 minutes and we are still waiting ....

Banging burgers and calzones pizza

Food was so cold I had to warm my children pizza and chips the pitta bread was hard and I ordered a salad but they wasn't another for 1 person. I will never order from there again

2 and a half hour wait for cold pizza and cold chips oh and a missing complementary bottle of coke ..avoid .avoid...avoid .

Have used this place for years gone down hill food nice deliverer on time great. But never same to get a simple order right! 3times in a row now. Large chicken kebab with salad girlic and chilli.. forgot the salad and sauses and 1 can. Won't be ordering again now

Awful takeaway, ordered on just eat arrived and the the delivery driver tried to well over charge us he then stood and argued with us until we paid more then it should have been. The food was upon eating it stone cold in which I had to re-cook it in the over. I phoned to complain and the response I got was awful they said I dont have to order with them if I dknt want too. Never again will I eat from this dreadful place!

Couldnt fault my experience. Fantastic price, great quality food and delivered before the scheduled time.

We always use god father and has always been excellent but tonight's was not good at all,there was not much kebab in the 16in calzone very very disappointing not enjoyable almost empty, I'm now put off from using again, sorry god father you have lost a regular customer 😞

Just ordered two pizzas, a meat feast and also hicken supreme. Both pretty much tasteless, quite possibly the worst pizzas I've eat in a long time especially in hull. Won't be back again.

Ordered via godfather website which was easy and got 15% off. Food came within good time and qas all correct. Food was hot and good fresh quality. Will order again.

When receiving our delivery on the last 3 occasions our order has been incorrect

I was told order would be 40 mins. Arrived 1hr . 30 mins later. It was cold n for the money .... let's just say I won't be ordering again. Very disappointing

Every time you order it's wrong then the staff is rude when you try and tell them about the incorrect order if your looking at ordering I would definitely avoid, there are better places than this rude complacent takeout!

Very friendly service. the front of house looks amazing and the kitchen area is open plan and looks very clean , I got exactly what I asked for and my pizza tasted amazing and priced as is should be .all in all I'll defiantly be a regular

So my food hasn't been delivered and it was pre paid through just eat I'm fuming disgusting service and they are now closed so can't even get in touch and have to wait until tommorow to get my money back wouldn't mind but it was a 30 pound order

I use these often I get chicken kebab fries and burgers and it's always been hot tasty and salad is fresh ..

No matter what if you order for delivery there will be an issue wether it’s the 2 hour wait, missing/wrong items or stone cold food. Simply cannot fault the food just would pick up

Always enjoy the food , use it often Staff are happy and helpful

Pizzas are nice. Give the frozen lasagne a miss. More pasta than meat or sauce. Just a pile of stodge.

Best takeaway I've ever been to and used them for years, will never stop, absolutely amazing and very friendly staff too, they definitely know their regular customers ;) I'd say well over 5 stars for them, foods gorgeous!!!

I've never had a bad meal from here and the delivery time was within half hour! The special offers and pizzas have plenty of toppings on them

Only getting 1 star because I can't put 0 stars- got takeaway for the family, asked for a donner meat box with NO SALAD- yet they put salad on. After saying the rest of the order we asked for a donner meat calzone- when the takeaway arrived it was a donner meat pizza- completely wrong! Rung back and they sent a donner meat pizza, but it was smothered in garlic butter- the box was swimming with lumps of garlic butter. Had one bite and it tasted so vile it put me off my appetite. Plus the chips were either too soggy or were so hard they could probably break the rocks at Stonehenge. Won't recommend this takeaway at all to anyone

called friday 18.15 took 30 mins to complete pizza and kebab order only to get it home they had forgotten the salad rang back but there was nothing they could do .

Lucky to get 1 star after tonight, orders two things. TWO THINGS and not only did I have to repeat my address 5 times and give my post code they not only got that wrong but they rang someone else's number and woke them up to ask if they where right, lucky we knew who they rang or we wouldn't of known as nobody answered the phone 15 minutes before they should of even started to close up and 30minutes after I ordered the dam thing. I've had bad delivery and service before but this one tops the cake.

Firstly they got the order wrong, then when I rang up to get it sorted they admitted that it was their fault but still wanted to charge extra for a second delivery with no compensation. Poor customer service, absolute garbage. Never again.

The worst takeaway in Hull got a curry off them and it look like something the dog threw up

Ordered food and not sent what I was asked for on sunday 7th of july 2013, rang up to explain where they went wrong to get a very rude attitude from the girl on the phone,we've used them for years and quite regularly and thats how you get treat! Will never use them again!
