Been using this place for over 20years and never been disappointed when i was working and since retiring 17yrs ago. Make one of the best deepan Pizza in the area and great value for money.All the lads go there on Friday night even after being miles away. Best Pizza in the area without doubt forget the late comers trying to muscle in

Order from here regular but pizza we ordered recently was poor. Chicken was stringy like pulled pork!!! Definitely prefer the pizzas when the owner is in.

Best pizza takeaway in the area, especially when the owner is doing them, lovely thick crust, Hugh amount of toppings, wife loves the cheesy chips, kebabs are excellent and plentiful, only downside is the pitta bread, not the best

probably the best pizzas in Stanley (thick crust - regular) The toppings here are lovely and plentiful, the bolognase is the best I've had and the chicken is real chicken breast pieces, instead of the usual little square chunks you get elsewhere - even I can't finish a 10" pizza from here the toppings are that good! I have ordered the thin crust ones before but I wouldn't recommend these as the toppings are minimal and have never ordered them again, but the regular ones are fantastic Chips and kebab are average at best - pizzas are the best in stanley Service was fast and friendly - no complaints Pizzas are quite expensive but worth it as the toppings are good

Always get pizzas from here and definitely think they are better when owner is in. Saying that they are still best in area. The pittas are terrible. All the food is lovely but every time we order mixed kebab the pitta bread is inedible!!! As soon as you try to open it up it drops to pieces and there’s no way you can use it!!! Love Godfather’s but they really need to use fresh pitta breads!!

I used to love this place! The past few times I've been it has not been great, but kept going in the hope it would get better... last night I decided I'll not be trying again! Me and my family got pizza, I got chicken and sweet one stuffed crust... the dough was terrible, cheese on my pizza STUNK and as for the chicken.... shredded all over my pizza, far too much. I had a slice and didn't bother with the rest. Didn't even enjoy the garlic bread and that's saying something for me 😳 think I'll stick to the pizza shop at tanfield from now on, they never fail!

Best pizza shop in stanley always has been . Wouldnt bother with any other around the area as there crap .

No matter what you order from here you always get massive portions and it never lets you down, wether it's the world famous chicken kebabs or the chunky pizzas it's always spot on!!!! I had chicken pizza with chips cheese and bolognese and it's to die for love it

The owner guy is spot on. The rest of the staff are a joke rude middle aged lady's more interested in their mobile phones than sorting your order out and young lasses who couldn't care less and talk to you like rubbish! I walked half a mile home before realising they hadn't put my gravy in I walked back up and not even a sorry! I was fuming she barley even looked up from her phone!!

Pizza's from here are lovely. We've stopped ordering kebabs as the pitta breads are dreadful!! Can't use them as they drop to bits when you try to open them!! When boss is on pizza's are really good, unfortunately had wrong orders delivered twice. Still use for best pizzas in the area.

Great pizzas, lovely base & loads of topping. Service has always been good too. Chips & kebabs are good too but we pretty much always get the pizza!

Absolutely massive portions, well worth the money! Couldn't fault this place at all, used this takeaway for years, and will continue to use it too!

Hate going else where for a takeaway, chicken kebab is how it should be grilled with no fat or grease etc just plain chicken spot on. Pizza's are lush but have to get thin crush as thick is too much & very filling

Was visiting the North East for our yearly visit and wouldn't have thought took anywhere else! Good food quick service and happy staff. Ordered a pepperoni pizza and chips. Wasn't disappointed. Boom! 🍕

When u fone then never pick up then u try ringing back it's busy they are rude we tried calling them for over 2 hours line was busy then they never answered ✌

Ordered food from here and got told it would be with me in 45 mins. 90mins later still no food rang to ask where food was and got spoken down to my some young girl who sounded like her one brain cell had worked over...

Best pizzas around. Use proper chunks of chicken and bacon rather than just the processed cubes you normally get. My fav is chicen kiev.

this take away is outstanding and is value for money. would recommend it to anyone especially if you have a few friends around and a couple fancy the same food as you get loads.
