Godfather in County Durham

Ordered chicken wrap with salad got home and opened a chip wrap with salad all in wrap returned to shop and got what I originally ordered. Got home and got a salad wrap with very small pieces chicken and struggled to find much chicken the whole thing was disgusting and went in the bin. So that was my first and last visit to God Father when you order a chicken wrap you expect succulent pieces of chicken on a small bed of salad NOT a salad wrap with a few scatty pieces of chicken mixed in salad NEVER AGAIN sorry.

HORRIFIC IN EVERY ASPECT OF THEIR SERVICE; AVOID! Cold, greasy nasty mess in a polystyrene tray half cryshed with mess oozing out the sides. took nearly two hours to arrive, i wouldn't serve this to a stray dog!

Garlic bread with cheese was ok, not garlicky enough. Mixed kebab with naan bread; chicken tasted like it was cooked 3 days ago and microwaved, doner kebab was ok, naan bread was probably the best bit of kebab. Salad was ok. Order turned up later than they told me, and the temperature reflected in that. The burger bun was soggy and the fries were cold. I won’t rush back.

Been using this place for over 20years and never been disappointed when i was working and since retiring 17yrs ago. Make one of the best deepan Pizza in the area and great value for money.All the lads go there on Friday night even after being miles away. Best Pizza in the area without doubt forget the late comers trying to muscle in

Order from here regular but pizza we ordered recently was poor. Chicken was stringy like pulled pork!!! Definitely prefer the pizzas when the owner is in.

Best pizza takeaway in the area, especially when the owner is doing them, lovely thick crust, Hugh amount of toppings, wife loves the cheesy chips, kebabs are excellent and plentiful, only downside is the pitta bread, not the best

probably the best pizzas in Stanley (thick crust - regular) The toppings here are lovely and plentiful, the bolognase is the best I've had and the chicken is real chicken breast pieces, instead of the usual little square chunks you get elsewhere - even I can't finish a 10" pizza from here the toppings are that good! I have ordered the thin crust ones before but I wouldn't recommend these as the toppings are minimal and have never ordered them again, but the regular ones are fantastic Chips and kebab are average at best - pizzas are the best in stanley Service was fast and friendly - no complaints Pizzas are quite expensive but worth it as the toppings are good
