Godbolts Nursery Tea Room in Colchester

Not the best experience. The taste wasn’t bad, however the size of the pizza was very small and I had ordered a large for delivery. Also, the pizza had become cold once I got it. They said that they are outside and I should meet them on a different location from my address and when i went there nobody was there and I had to wait for 10 more minutes for the delivery person to artive. Disappointed

Lovely village pub, food was nice... Quick service too! Would happily visit again.

After a bit of shopping we were looking for somewhere for lunch and came across Poppy's. Very quaint little tea room set out very nice with 50s music playing in the background with lots of old 50s posters and pictures on the walls. We ordered coffees, my with having black and me a caramel latte which was extremely nice. We both ordered sandwiches,my wife having tuna mayo with red onion and me having a club sandwich of chicken,bacon,lettuce,tomato and mayo. The sandwich was then lightly toasted. They were both very well presented and were very tasty. Would highly recommend this lovely little tea room!!

I have been here before for a roast dinner and been very happy, I suggested it to some friends when they asked me if I knew somewhere nice to go for the 3 of us . I said that The Donkey and Buskins had amazing Sunday roast , so we went today and we were nor disappointed, the roast is so good, plentiful and delicious , we had roast pork with numerous vegetables and roast potatoes are gorgeous , just perfect 👍🏻. The young man who served us was attentive and polite , I have not had a better roast anywhere !!
