So we went for Sunday dinner and I have to say I do love the decor. The food was great infact the roast potatoes were the nicest I've ever had, had to leave the brocoli as my knife couldn't cut it. The service still needs tweaking although the staff were lovely, both our drinks were wrong, our meal was wrong, the dish of cauliflower cheese came without a spoon and I'd always suggest you ask when taking an order if you require and condiments so the food doesn't go cold while waiting. The food is well priced and delightful, I would of paid extra for more roasties

First time we visited at glass orchid after good reviews from other friends. We arrived for lunch time today looking forward to ordering a range of tapas, but we ended up walking out! (first time I've ever done this - and we eat out every weekend). One waitress for 4 tables (including us). After waiting 15-20mins our drinks order wasn't even taken. I watched the waitress look at her phone behind the bar, tidy up the bar and keep sipping on her own drink and there was no intention to come over and take our order anytime soon. We left and on the way out expressed to the manager at the entrance that the service was poor and we was leaving. He just looked back down at his laptop. I find it really disappointing.

Lovely restaurant for a catch up with friends. Superb food and fantastic service from Daisy last night. Attentive, friendly, chatty, an asset to the restaurant. Been a few times and it never disappoints.

5 star service Caitlin our waitress was amazing so lovely so professional, we came to celebrate our anniversary never been before food was absolutely amazing. The restaurant is lovely looks fresh love the way it’s been done, had a seat at the bar after our food was so nice for the bartender to have such knowledge of all the drinks their history where they originated from.

My first time at the Glass Orchid and I will definitely return. The £15 lunch deal represented great value and the food (especially the Sea Bream) was well served and of a high standard.

The menu is small plates, bespoke cocktails, and specially selected wines. Which suits us as you can order as little or as much as you want. Dining this way, you can choose exactly what you fancy depending on how hungry you are. We must have been ravenous as what we ordered filled the whole table, hardly any room for our lovely cocktails. It's well worth a visit.

Absolutely gorgeous restaurant, amazing atmosphere, staff that can’t do enough for you and food that’s out of this world! Another gem in Beeston, wow. We had the curried hake, tofu, steak on the rocks and cod bites with a side of asian slaw, charred tenderstem broccoli and sweet potato fries. Food was absolutely gorgeous. Would like to especially mention the tofu as it was cooked beautifully, best I’ve ever had for sure! We also had the vegan Baileys trifle for dessert which my husband inhaled in seconds. Neither of us is vegan but he could not tell it was a vegan alternative, it was as decadent and chocolatey as you would expect. Highly recommend the Feuer Frei cocktail, could have had it on tap all night. £83 for 8 plates, 2 cocktails and a pint of beer. More than enough food for 2 adults. Had lunch at the Glass Orchid for their first Sunday dinner service. The food was incredibly tasty with healthy portion sizes. The service was also very fast and friendly. Will definitely be going back.

Been twice now and it's 2-0 to the chef. Great tapas worth every penny. The decor is as good as the music. But the food takes centre stage. Will be back and definitely recommended.

Absolutely incredible venue, service and food! I booked for my mums birthday, and having let the team know a member of our party had a garlic allergy, we arrived to a whole menu prepared for her. Usually in most places this means the menu is sparce, but on the contrary there was almost nothing the kitchen at Glass Orchid couldn't prepare for our requirements - everything was made so fresh, piping hot and unbelievably tasty. I especially enjoyed the woodland scallops, and every dish bought a welcome dimension we hadn't experienced before. We are truly impressed with the freshness and taste of the food, and the service was so accommodating and welcoming. They even brought out a birthday plate at the end of the meal. Truly couldn't rate this place highly enough, not to mention the bougie decor and vibes. An undeniably 10/10 experience, and we are excited to come back for cocktails soon!!!

Oh my gosh, food is phenomenal (get the grandad’s sandwich!) The wine list is varied and the cocktails are so unique. I love what they’ve done with the space. The atmosphere is just right and the service is on point. I’d highly recommend for a date night, dinner with friends, impressing the in-laws.

Food was really good - small plates tapas style but each was well conceived and very tasty. Star dishes for us were Cauli cheese croquettes, roasted pork belly and slow braised lamb. Service excellent too. The music play list was fantastic, not too loud so we could hear everyone at the table speak but created a chilled vibe. Highly recommend and a great addition to Beeston’s food scene.

Excellent food and we loved how the menu isn’t stupidly lengthy. A smaller selection meant it centred our food decisions. As well as great food the service was super too. There was a staff change whilst we were there and our new waiter came over to introduce himself and ensured we were happy. Also, we had cocktails after our excellent food - these were just as good! Will definitely be back!

Have visited a number of times now since it’s opening and have always had the most delightful time no matter what the occasion. It’s so gratifying to have somewhere that not only fits in with Beeston but elevates it. Phenomenal food and phenomenal drinks selections. Gemma, Mark, the management team and the staff are a credit to their venue. Cannot recommend enough!

Absolutely divine! Their chef is top notch, the service was brilliant and they've done an amazing job with the decor. Tapas style and worth the price point. The hardest part is only choosing a handful of dishes; we ordered too much! Looking forward to returning

Ideal for an evening catch up with friends after work or dinner & drinks for an evening out. Impressed on each occasion I’ve visited. Has a chilled vibe, beautiful food with fantastic options as I’m coeliac, which is such a relief when eating out. Will be visiting again.

I'm so happy that this space has been taken over again, and by such a modern and vibey restaurant too. We're lucky to have a venue like this in Nottingham, nevermind Beeston. The restaurant is stunning inside with artwork on the walls and intimate lighting. The bar stocks plenty of unique cocktails, but you can also request a classic and one of the lovely bar staff will make it for you. More importantly, the food was incredible! The menu is small plates/world tapas and genuinely exceeded our expectations - the kitchen know what they are doing! Highly recommend ordering the 'Grandad's Sandwhich', I've never had anything like it before. Desserts were scrumptious too, we tried the mango cheesecake but will definitely try the peanut butter doughnuts next time. Service was also 10/10, especially for such a newly opened restaurant. Looking forward to visiting again!

Amazing food and very creative drinks, staff were all so polite and welcoming. Decor is absolutely beautiful and if your cocktail of choice is not on the menu, you can request it. The manager, Gemma was really attentive and couldn’t have done more for us and many other people in there. Couldn’t have felt any more welcomed! Have returned a few times but will definitely be returning many other times!

I've been twice already and can highly recommend the food and service we received. Daisy was informative about the dishes. I am coeliac and there were lots of gluten-free choices. Can't wait to go again.
