Glasgow Street Deli Ltd in Dumfries & Galloway

Expected an American style hot dog with chilli con carne. Got a hot dog in a bun cut in half with onions and jalapeños. Hot dogs from the spar are better.

Dry and burnt, any “chef” who needs to cut into a already bone dry burger to check it’s cooked needs re schooling

Absolutely freezing. The most little bit of curry sauce over the popping chicken fries and the little there was it was all at the bottom of the box over thr burger. Never again.

Hot Dawgs were wonderful, they were juicy, just the correct amount of onion and a delicious bun. I will definitely order again. I haven’t had a Dawg in many years, this was the right choice. Thank you. I could not find option for mustard or ketchup but have these at home.

Food arrived just before 2 hours from ordering, breakfast box was stone cold, had to reheat it ourselves. The can of coke we got with the breakfast box was warmer than the actual food👎🏻

Only thing decent was the milkshake

Never got our milkshake then phoned up to complain and the girls solution was “you have to come collect it yourself” absolutely abysmal!!

Food wasn’t as nice as we hoped. Very rushed & greasy which is sad considering the price we paid.

Delivered on time but not to correct location! Driver just left at another reception stated a first name and took off. I clearly stated where to deliver!

delivery was over 40 minutes late and the food was cold. I had my number on the order for driver to call and they didn't phone to ask for directions after they got lost. I ended up going out in my car looking for the driver and found him to collect the food. then only got 50% refund

Food was delivered on time. Part of my order contained a fried egg but it wasn't cooked through properly. Just scooped it out and ate the rest which was alright.

Roll fillings really need seasoning, the egg mayo tastes like egg and salad cream. Food it very good though. Lovely people .

Meal missing from delivery order, phoned up and was told to go drive to the takeaway and either collect the refund or pick up my missing items I paid a delivery fee for? Zero help from the person on the phone, rude and couldn’t give a toss what happens. Delivery was on time, not like it matters

Ordered 2 500ml of lucozade and only got 1 380ml bottle as well as ordered 3 cokes and only got 1. Puts food into a paper bag then into a plastic bag leaving condensation all over your food cause it's soaked through the paper bag.

Accidentally sent order to wrong address phoned up to speak to a young boy sounded nervous and I then asked if there was any way to contact delivery driver which he stayed silent so I repeated my self once again and he said no, I think if you can’t contact a delivery driver it is a bit ridiculous luckily the driver is willing to deliver to the address I am at for a delivery charge.

Food is perfect but the shop don't read the notes you add. 3 x I've ordered a roll and asked for no butter. I'm guessing they don't read the notes as everytime my roll has butter!

Near enough everytime I have ordered I don’t get my juice when I phone and make a complaint I get told I will get it next time I order and am still waiting that was at least 3 orders ago, no as if the drinks are cheap either

Placed an order on just eat around 2pm and it’s not 4:15pm and I hasn’t came the order says it’s delivered but it’s not here and now the place is shut, will be trying to get a full refund

No hallumi or honey on the sweet and fry. Only had sweet potato fired and some chorizo

Gave me salsa when I asked for none. The prices have went up but the portions are smaller. Wouldn't recommend.

Driver couldn't speak very good English couldn't care less that he forgot to pick up my lattes I paid for .Further more on contacting the place o ordered food they said they have no contact with any drivers and I would have to refund. May I suggest the drivers having full contact with the establishments they are gathering the food from this stupidity at it's finest and not the first time I've had to go with out an item I have ordered how many more times must this happen???? I do hope to have a response to this !

Absolutely awful service over 1.5hrs late shop staff rude and unhelpful. 2 different stories from 2 diff workers about our order.

Fast,delicious, and arguably the best takeaway in Dumfries !

My order was wrong again. Food is great from here and service fast. We order from here 2 or 3 times a week but unfortunately orders are not always correct, may be at busy times orders should be checked before going out.

Don't usually comment on these as I'd not review a supermarket cashier, their job. However as local independent shop, the food was lovely, hot and on time

Ordered a box meal with nachos which were meant to have beef cheese and sauce, I got crisps with a sauce, no cheese or beef, called staff who said they could do nothing because they had no manager.

There was no sauce on the doonhamer nachos

Originally advised food would arrive between 11-11:20, it came at 12:15! Ordered a scotch pie was sent a sausage roll :/ Chips also came really undercooked.

Love Glasgow street deli but just eat driver didn't deliver to my address and I can't find out where it went at least I'm getting fully refunded. Won't be using just eat app again!

All good, only downside is that cash function no longer appears so can only order if money in the bank

Nipped in here to grab a coffee and snack. Coffee excellent. Filled rolls filled with lovely tasting fillings and could not have been fuller. Service and banter excellent. Definitely recommend.
