Giuseppe's dining experience was excellent. From southern Italian selected beer and wine to super fish dishes,superbly cooked. We loved it.

Incredibly expensive for what you get as the portions are not generous as they would be in Italy . The taste of the food was ok and not brilliant; herb heavy and we left feeling hungry; furthermore they wouldn't make my stake well done as I requested. The tables were also widely spaced and not cosy atmosphere as you would expect in an Italian restaurant . Will not be returning.

Simply the best restaurant in Nailsworth. Period. If you are looking for real Italian cuisine like you would have in Italy, this is the real deal.

Down an alley up a staircase into a loft space. Giuseppe is a great host who personally cooks great food from a short menu of produce he has sourced that day. Go for the food, not bells whistles and decor.

Absolute gem. Really lovely ambiance and authentic Italian food. Owners were amazing - really friendly and wonderful service. Giuseppe came out from the kitchen to talk to all the diners. Can highly recommend.

DELICIOUSNESS IN EVERY DEPARTMENT! We managed to sample most of the menu, 5 of their wine list and drank deep from their deep cup of hospitality! Sarah was fabulous. Standout dishes for me were the risotto, the burrata starta (!), the Calabrian sauces (for this is where they’re from) and the panacotta pudding. Their Montepulciana was very decent, the Veneto (Gran Passione Rosso) excellent, and the affogato lovely (without the amaretto shot tho). There were huge shout outs for the prawns and the steak too. Brilliant place. Lovely service. Great space (if a little chilly on an especially cold evening - bring thermals for under your going out clothes!) Difficult to find, but VERY MUCH worth the touble! Thanks++++ We’ll be back!

Who knew we had a little bit of Italy here in Nailsworth?. Giuseppe's is a pleasure to eat in . The food is authentic and freshly cooked to order .I highly recommend any fish dish that Giuseppe cooks as it is always cooked to perfection . Sarah his wife greets you warmly on arrival and the young staff are polite and have a good knowledge of the menu.

Myself and my partner had a great lunch time meal myself the chicken which was superb and he had the meatballs which were delicious . Proper authentic home cooked Italian food . I arrived at 2 pm, the place turned out to be closed until January 25, there was no information about it on the website. Wasted time.

Lovely olives, pasta and steak. Wine and beer were great. They have a deli and gave me side orders of olives for the wine, off menu. Also biscotti for my birthday. We booked again for tomorrow night as my parents couldnt make it tonight last minute. A real local gem 💎

Absolutely amazing food. Served by really friendly and knowledgeable staff. The king prawns were amazing as a starter, and both the pork filet and pan fried butterflied mackerel with garlic and chilli were top quality. We will definitely return.

Absolutely fantastic service! Delicious food, even dessert menu was top notch. Highly recommend to anyone, will be returning regularly. Had the arancini ball for starter, tuna steak for main and tiramisu for dessert. Tuna steak was fantastic, had a lemon flavor to it, melted in the mouth. Cocktails were also very tasty 👌🏻

The food, service and atmosphere at Giuseppe's was outstanding. I'll be returning as soon as I'm able as the menu constantly cycles. I especially enjoyed the Cannoli.

We went around Cotswolds for the weekend with some friends and we were hungry after hours on the road. Someone suggested Giuseppe's Italian restaurant and thus we went to try it. However, it was closed and we did not see the sign, so we entered in. The owner was so kind and when we said we were hungry suggested for us to stay and he cooked for us the most amazing authentic Italian food. The plates and his suggestions were perfect and all tasteful. We ended the dinner by ordering a dessert which was also the best dessert we had in UK. Overall, the best Italian restaurant we've ever been in UK. Thank you for everything!

Very good experience. We had saw some pics and decided to go there. But, when we arrive the waitress said that the menu changes every day according to the ingredients the Chef gets. What makes every food very fresh. So, our food came perfectly.

What a discovery!! Wonderful authentic Italian food cooked by an Italian as though in Italy with superb wines to match (Italian of course). Whilst not cheap worth so much more than every penny. A real gem that will be on my regular list.

Came across by accident as we do not live here and what a find. Food was excellent and done to perfection. The waitress was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The owner / chef was visible checking everyone was happy. Wish Giuseppe's was near me - we would be regulars.

We came on holiday to Nailsworth last year for a week and ate here, back again this year for a week and have eaten here twice. Booked before we left home. Lovely atmosphere and staff. Tonight was the best steak I've ever had. Can't wait until we are here again.

Excellent Italian restaurant in Nailsworth. Food was authentic with great modern twists, the setting and service was superb. Wine selection very good, and the profiteroles were honestly the best I've ever had, anywhere.

Simply fantastic food, very fairly priced

Friendly welcome, little touches like napkins in colours of the Italian flag waiting on the table. Huge spaces between tables feels very safe. But the food is what I go for! Giuseppe is passionate about his food and I have never been disappointed. Limited menu which changes according to ingredients available, but all delicious.

Giuseppe is a true character and the restaurant has a really charismatic and laid back vibe. The menu changes daily and is quite limited. However, the food is awesome and the fillet steak was amongst the best I've had.

What s find, not living in the area it was such a joy to find Giuseppe’s restaurant, just by the Old Market in Nailsworth it’s a real taste of Italian cooking. The menu changes constantly offering great starters, tasty mains and beautiful desserts all accompanied with a not extensive but great choice of Italian wines. The venue has great atmosphere being in an old mill? Service is friendly and very helpful and Giuseppi is very happy to explain the dishes. A real taste of Italy 👍

Atmospheric eating in an old mill. We had lovely food and friendly service. I highly recommend this Italian restaurant that serves good quality Italian dishes. If you want a typical pizza parlour this place is not for you. Try and find it .... you will not be dissapointed.
