Great place to eat. Even our little one enjoys it here. Shame it's closed down. As the service and food was always great here.

Has always been excellent service and excellent food Now it's closed and yet another fast food equivalent to KFC moving in...like we need it..!!! Clearly that's all people eat now..!! Shame people don't want to eat real food anymore and just want processed rubbish....!!

Went for lunch with the family after a long drive. Service was good and quick, however the beef in the tacos was tough and not nice. The children's meal was good value but would have been better if drink included like most other places.

I remember nachos being great a few years ago but now found it disappointing, small portion for price and £4 extra for pulled beef which was about 4 teaspoons dotted around. I would not order recommend it.

I visited Giraffe for the first time, following a visit to Steam and walk around the Outlet centre with friends. Being lunchtime it was busy, however we were welcomed in the queue, advised of the wait time (10 mins but was less) and we’ll looked after. Our server, Jasmine, was fantastic. Friendly, happy and helpful - she made the visit really special. I hope the manager see this to pass on the credit. Food was efficient and absolutely gorgeous. In fact I liked the look of everything on the menu! All of our group thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Giraffe and can’t wait to return on my next visit.

I had a Latte with coconut milk and it was wonderful. I also had the Duck Stir fry which was amazing with the flavours and amount of kick when it came to being spicy , just right not over the top . You were able to enjoy the noodles and the duck was cooked to perfection. The right balance. I would recommend this dish every time . The service was fantastic too and also I would sign up for the Mcauthurglen club because you get 10% off your meal. There are other offers that are appealing.

The perfect splendid fandabydosy explosive magnificent half pint of peroni served by the red haired female (assuming she is a female) it was splendid and so was she, carries herself so elegantly and with such stature. Great service 👏

We eat here regularly when shopping at the outlet village. The duck salad and the duck stir fry are absolutely amazing. Incredibly warm and friendly service too. We also sometimes do breakfast, delicious pancakes with maple syrup or strawberries.

Great food, very friendly staff despite being extremely busy. Very quick with food to table. Great coffee. Recommend the brunch menu.

Nice friendly staff is a real bonus as this is an ideal place to stop. However I had the rodeo burger at £15 which was really basic with hardly any meat was very disappointing. You would be better of going to a chain pub.

Restaurant was nicely situated in McArthur Glen Designer Outlet with attentive, friendly staff. Food is good, if a little pricey for what it is - think of TGI Fridays type food but considerably more expensive and with generally smaller portions. What is annoying is that they charge an additional 'optional' service charge of 10% regardless of how many people there are. There were only 3 of us and were charged an additional £9. The cost is hidden half way down the bill so is hard to see at first - I noticed later by which time it was too late as I had already paid, which is probably what they are counting on; either that or they think you will be too embarrassed to query the additional charge. I always leave a tip for good service but object to the restaurant adding charges like this to supplement their staffs' pay. I thought that this deceptive practice died out years ago and think it should be illegal; you should get clear, emphatic approval from the customer before adding hidden charges like this. Will not be getting ripped off again by this place, once bitten......

My husband & I have been here for breakfast on 2 occasions & have had the Maple Pancakes which are delicious- definitely the best pancakes we have eaten in a long time. Unfortunately my hot chocolate didn’t taste nice, I was unable to drink it, hence the 4 stars & not 5. But we highly recommend the pancakes.

Yesterday decided to have breakfast at this place, I had the smoked salmon , which was so bland , & portion was tiny, I paid a almost a tenner for what, a piece of toast, with a few pieces of measly size fish.

Me and my friends go every week before work. A good range of breakfast options and wonderful friendly staff. They also do amazing food all round, from mains to desserts. They cater well to kids, not much more to say! Lovely place

Planned a late lunch during our shopping visit. Dave our waiter was courteous and took our order and food arrived promptly. Part way through lunch my partner suffered a severe nose bleed that ultimately lasted over 20 minutes. Nothing was too much trouble for Dave....

We popped in for lunch with our grandsons and we’re greeted by a very friendly waitress. I have got to say that our burger was scrummy and the chips delicious. We had a fab experience and will return.

Mr son and I had breakfast here whilst Christmas shopping. It felt very Covid safe and was welcoming and had very friendly and helpful staff.I had avocado smash with a perfect poached egg, roasted tomatoes and smoked salmon on sourdough toast. Sunday 10.00am breakfast was very disappointing tbh. Warm food which was seemingly pre-cooked. Waitress did ask if all was good but we were almost done so waste of time complaining. Good service to be honest. 1 other issue was, half way through they sat someone behind us which actually backed onto my wife’s seat (was not social distanced). I knew the guy from work and he admitted it was so close but we were done in 5 mins so again no use complaining.

The best pancakes I have ever had!! Fluffy, lots of maple syrup, and delicious crispy bacon. Could of done with a couple more strips of bacon with the humongous pancakes but won't make me mark down the breakfast. Absolutely lovely and definitely worth the money. Service was brilliant and our waitress was lovely and chatty. Will be back for brekkie again soon!

As you are inside a shopping centre, face coverings are mandatory in the shops and the centre Booked a table for lunch as we started shopping at 1030 . Advisable to book as due to social distancing, eateries have reduced table numbers Brunch menu served till 4pm - egg and bacon for lunch !!!! Visited Swindon outlet on Monday and found this resturant in the middle of the centre great place staff friendly served really quick and the server David was great helped us where we needed and made sure we were ok with the food we received overal great meal and all the staff friendly

Food was great, Steak cooked to perfect standards. Service was incredible, waitress Lauren was very friendly with a perfect smile. Next trip too Swindon, I will definitely be visiting again for food! Recommend visiting.

Ok food by why can you not disclose that you add a 10% service charge. Are you just hoping people will not notice or be too embarised to ask for its removal?

We stopped off here for a an excellent coffee and salt and pepper squid during a visit to the Designer Outlet. A great deal of effort had clearly gone into adapting to COVID and the ordering process was simple. Partcular thanks to Lauren who provided very efficient and cheerful service.

Myself and two children visited Giraffe yesterday. Both my children had Chicken burgers and I had the Rodeo Chicken burger as suggested by my server, and I was greatly satisfied by my meal! The kids loved their burgers too as well as their churros. A fantastic kids meal deal! I would like to personally thank our server, Lauren, who was so comforting and informative to all our queries about how covid was being addressed. Friendly and a real charmer. Definitely will be back!

Having eaten here a few times we stopped in for some lunch during our first post COVID shopping trip.We were sat down very quickly, and served by a pleasant lad with red hair. We ordered the Breakfast and the big joe burger. To our surprise, our meals were served within 10 minutes. We even commented on how quick the chef had cooked our food. Our food came quickly as it was reheated. The burger had been pre-cooked and as had the fries. The all-day breakfast was also reheated and was equally as dry. Very disappointing lunch despite the efficiency of the chef! The pineapple juices were fresh but at £3.95 a glass very overpriced. Customers lost for Giraffe after this visit.

I think this place is very over priced. £2.95 for a can of raspberry lemonade. I had the katsu chicken curry, it was nice but some of the rice was just stuck together, tastes like a unvle Ben's microwave rice bag. Didn't think it was worth £10.95 at all.

We popped in here on Saturday morning . We’d booked online but there seemed to be a few tables available . We requested to sit in a booth and the server had no issues with requesting a used booth was cleaned and wiped down for us.The seats in the booth were a little sticky but I believe it’s where the leather is being wiped down with anti bac inbetween sittings.We both ordered the veggie breakfast and orange juice - we are not vegetarian but the breakfast really caught our fancy! It was really delicious ! The food was great and the orange juice was delicious ...My partner and I are reasonably relaxed with guidelines but we both noticed the server put our glasses down by the rim ... probably not the best idea at any point but definitely not in this current situation.

I went here last week for lunch with my two boys and it was fantastic. I don’t normally frequent these type of places, but it was superb. I was served by a girl called Lauren, who couldn’t have been more charming or courteous. She’s a real find.

Two of us had lunch here and the manager and her team were very clear about the Covid arrangements, but in a no fuss / no bother kind of way that really didn't detract from our meal. The food was great, as well as the service.

Breakfast is absolutely fantastic but the dinner is even better. Want to say a massive thank you to server Emma for her wonderful hospitality and service with a smile (even though she was wearing a mask)

We had a great lunch at Giraffe this week, my Teriyaki salmon was delicious and children enjoyed the bacon & cheese smokey Joe burger and kids burger for little ones. I would especially like to thank our Server Lauren who was just wonderful and wish her all the best back at University.

My mother went to Giraffe on Monday to enjoy a hot chocolate whilst my hubby and and I went shopping. She was anxious about going out by herself but she never felt more welcomed by staff members - Especially by blonde waitress with a black mask and blue top (of my mother’s description as she couldn’t remember he name. Sorry). She took the time to make her feel comfortable and had a lovely chat with her whilst managing other tables. Thank you so much! My mother hasn’t stopped smiling since. Will definitely go there myself for a meal next week!!!

Stopped for lunch just after outlet reopened post Covid. Excellant seating arrangements and hygeine top marks. Food brilliant as usual. Staff very alert to self distancing. Felt very comfortable.

Me, my husband and our 2 children came to the Swindon restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago as we are new to the area and I can’t say how happy I am with the service we received. We were seated very quickly and our server Daniel was very welcoming and friendly, promptly taking our order as we explained we were slightly strapped for time. We also returned to the restaurant on Tuesday in much less of a rush and the service again was amazing. The food came very fast and it all looked and tasted amazing. We were seen to by a few people but the level of service was fantastic and is the reason for writing such a positive review. Thank you for a wonderful few visits, we will definitely be back!

Fantastic food as always, made even better by perfect service from Paolo. Our young daughters demolished their food and despite the youngest making a real mess with her Katsu curry we were made to feel very welcome and Paolo was lovely with them. I loved my vegan curry too. Many thanks x

Twelve of us rocked up to the Swindon Outlet today for our daughter’s 23rd birthday. None of us had thought to book anywhere to eat and everywhere was extremely busy. However, after having a wander, we thought we’d try Giraffe. We asked if they could fit of us in and amazingly, the front of house, James, replied with an enthusiastic ‘I like a challenge!’ He went out of his way to make some room for us and Emma, our wait staff, was fantastic, really accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us. She even brought out our daughter’s cake we’d brought with us so we could sing happy birthday to her. Despite the restaurant being busy and there were twelve of us, the service was quick. Thank you Emma and James for making our visit so warm and welcoming! I would definitely visit again and highly recommend the restaurant to other es, especially families.

I came here on Tuesday with my son. Our lovely waitress, Lauren S, was an absolute star. My son has autism and she was ever so friendly: spoke to him about his favourite game, MARIO Kart and persisted to make sure we were okay. Even when Henry had a little wobbly, she was patient and made us feel welcome. The food was excellent and despite it being busy, the food still came out fast.

Arranged a catch up with family, at the Outlet. Restaurant fairly busy, but managed to get a table. Service from taking order to delivery if food was quick. Classic Burger was excellent. Beef Ramen was good according to Hubby...all in all a nice clean friendly and great place to eat...sorry forgot the photos but food was lush! Thankyou.

As a person with serious Allergies it is seldom I am made to feel welcome when eating out. However I am so impressed with Giraffe at the Outlet centre who went the extra mile to accomodate me. The food was delicious & plentiful & the staff were all cheery & helpul especially JACK who served our table. I highly recommend this venue, I am so pleased to have discovered it & can't wait to go there again!

We visited on a Thursday afternoon and four of us had three courses and drinks for £15 each thanks to TasteCard. The service charge was already included in the bill which was a bit of a surprise but we were happy with it - they just might have ended up with more given the discount we had.The vegan and vegetarian options are brilliant in this restaurant. It is so refreshing to find such diverse choice in a chain. The staff are always really friendly as well. There was plenty of room in the restaurant for the pushchair to sit alongside our table as well.

We stopped for lunch here yesterday whilst visiting the Outlet Centre. We were offered a table straight away and! as we were slightly ahead of the main lunchtime rush, we had a choice of where we sat. My mum had the Seasonal Special burger, which was a turkey burger served with Brie, bacon, cranberry sauce & a red cabbage slaw. I had the falafel & halloumi cheese burger, served with hummus & salad. Both burgers came with fries & were delicious! We were served by a waitress called Harriet, who was very friendly. I couldn’t fault either her service or the food. Well done!

Visited twice in one day. First for breakfast, they asked if we had any allergies and they changed the egg from scrambled to poached. They were attentive, but not overly. We ordered one breakfast that came with toast, as I don’t eat white bread, my mum ordered poached eggs. They brought an extra plate and she had my toast with her eggs. We returned for lunch and had a lovely lunch which came shortly after we ordered. Only issue we had was they brought an extra side salad we didn’t order, but they didn’t charge us for it. I would recommend anyone to go.

We ordered coffees and some brunch and all I can say is I didn’t realise the price was pence per millilitre. Especially in an area with so many other coffee houses I would suggest this needs a rethink.

Efficient, not unfriendly, but barely adequate service.. waiting staff too busy to really engage .. food, given how busy the restaurant was, was actually quite good .. I will however not be visiting a giraffe restaurant.. there were only two of us, but despite this a 10% “optional” service fee was added to our bill .. however the “optional” option was in lighter smaller text, & the price of the meal (with service charge applied) was in bold .. so it would have been easy to overlook the actual cost of the meal .. what incensed me even more was that the total showing on the pdq machine was for the higher figure .. I think this is an unfair practice ..especially when the service was barely adequate.. shame on you giraffe !!

We visited with friends. Thankfully we had booked. First question from the waitress was whether we had any allergies. I do and it was immediately dealt with--brilliant!

Visited today with a friend and wanted a burger with halloumi instead of a patty (I don’t eat meat). They were so accommodating and made this for me without any questions asked and it was delicious. Would definitely visit again - great service and happy staff. Thanks guys!

Well yesterday I went hungry after having to return my brunch twice, I then gave up. I ordered smashed avocado at £6.95 which I thought was expensive as you only had one slice of toast and had to pay extra for poached eggs which I did. When mine arrived the eggs were sat in a puddle of water where they hadn’t been drained and when I cut into them they were hard boiled so I returned them, my mums eggs were the same but didn’t want to complain. I sat sometime before mine was returned clearly now on the same bit of bread and avocado which was now cold and clearly the eggs had not been drained again as there was now so much water on the plate the bread was a wet mush, disgusting so yet again retuned and had nothing !! The servers are pleasant but the chefs need training big time, this isn’t cheap but quality was awful and lots of basic mistake made, wrong drink, badly cooked food and presentation on the plate bad with bits of the poached egg hanging under the plate - brunch ruined and went hungry

Have been here plenty of times with the family but today was very poor, they were not busy and uninterested in taking our order. Sat for about 15 minutes staff avoiding eye contact and the lady doing circuits of the restaurant but not much else! We promptly left and had lunch at Carluccios which was very pleasant.

Popped into giraffe for a late lunch and the place was heaving. However, we were served straight away and the staff were very polite.

Excellent food but for me the service was the best I had for a long time. Came out of wagamama' s after being ignored for several minutes by several people and came here by accident.

The Service here was excellent. We were greeted on arrival and take to a choice of tables. Drinks orders were taken and arrived quickly. Food orders were then taken, and that come quickly as well. The food was OK.

Great food, great ambience, excellent service, happy smiley staff, caters for all -good vegan choices too. Will definitely return.

Had a lovely burger with proper onion rings, delicious and filling. Wife had a Thai noodle and duck dish which she would not share :) Overall a lovely atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff. When this chain first started out, the food was really good, but now it is almost crap & rubbish.

Had lunch at Giraffe a couple of days ago - although we had to wait to be seated the service was swift and efficient; once seated, drinks and food came within 10 minutes which was impressive given that the restaurant was very busy. The quality of the order was exemplary; we ordered a sharing portion of salt and pepper squid each, and it was possibly the best I have had the pleasure to be served. It was piping hot, the batter was light and crisp and the squid very fresh and tender. Served with chilli sauce and a wedge of lime this was a very delicious and flavoursome lunch, and at less than £25 for two, including large drinks, represents excellent value for money. Well done Giraffe!

Amazing food. Staff were very attentive and helpful in adapting the meals for us. Food was prepared quickly which is great as a family with young children and they loved their toy to take away. The 2 for 1 mocktails were also delicious . Would definitely visit again .

Within the designer outlet centre you can dine inside the restaurant or outside inside within the centre range of seating we went for a booth and very treated very politely and courteous with prompt service. Questions and queries were answered well. It was two for one one cocktails although we get for the mocktails and had a delicious Wavebreaker!! Pineapple line and coconut all flavours you could taste individually and that can’t often be said! The chicken burger was amazing with mushrooms cheese onion rings mayo bacon and a perfectly cooked chicken breast opted for £1 upgrade to scrumptious sweet potato fries! The salads are all scrumptious too and portions are spot on. We didn’t have time for dessert but a good looking selection on offer but I worked like to see more places when offering churros to have options rather than just chocolate sauce for dipping. But the menu does lend itself to a selection of mainly chocolate based puddings which appeals to most. A definite place to visit!

Love a couple of dishes at Giraffes which have sadly been changed. Ordered the chicken Bang salad which is now a bowl of cold noodles out of the fridge with chicken flung on top. Husbands Katsu chicken curry no longer has wonderful veggies but jasmine rice (cold when it came to us) with a bit of sauce and chicken. Got our money back as I won’t pay for this poor food. Sadly will not be going again.

The heading says it all, while shopping at the outlet centre we stopped for lunch. The restaurant was over half full but the service was still excellent. All burgers were half price on a Tuesday. We both had burgers , chicken breast, you can change the fries for a salad which I did. The salad was not your average side salad but was large and not your usual selection of salad vegetables-very tasty and filling . Two meals and two drinks under £20 before adding 10% service charge. Could not fault the meal or service and would definitely return.

Stopped here for a late brunchy meal and could not have been happier with the Veggie Brunch (which I customised thanks to helpful lovely staff) and Smoked Salmon with Scrambled Eggs. It was delicious and the staff were lovely. Definitely go here!

Service was average, food arrived fast, quality of food was okay but for the price of it wasn’t too happy.
