Giraffe in Lambeth

Price/quality is good, large quantities and lots of choice. But it is a glorified food shed. We tried to take it easy, but due to the enthusiasm of the waiters, we were left outside after an hour (main course with dessert). Great for a quick affordable bite! Also great with small kids. If you want atmosphere, finesse and take it easy then you shouldn't go here

Terrible overpriced substandard food all precooked dry ordered food it was with us in literally 3 minutes worst piece of fish I ever had dry needed hammer and chisel to get through batter chips out of a freezer teaspoon of mushy peas crap overpriced pre packed precooked crap never again wouldn’t recommend this place they can’t handle the amount of people and the service charge was the price of a meal freezing cold duck fried noodles and the noodle portion was for a child of six delivered to an adult absolute junk food needs a rethink if I could give it a rating it would be minus 10

Very nice place. Perfect ambience, good music. Most importantly, nice plates. Great and fast service. The only “good problem” that Giraffe has is the amount of food served in the plate. Could be a little bit more. I did a Korean BBQ Chicken but it included a small amount of chicken; I thought it was a small plate in fact. Anyways, definitely coming back here in the future.

Bland and Unimpressed We were really disappointed with our meals. Everything tasted so bland, and the salad was completely bare. When I asked for olive oil, the waiter looked at me like I'd asked for the moon. They also brought semi-skimmed milk for our toddler, which was a weird choice. It's hard to understand how a chain like this can stay in business with food this bad.

Nice place along the Thames, suitable for families with fair prices for the offer, Italian beer, good 'fusion' dishes, pleasantly spicy curry. pasta...not the best, pre-cooked and baked in the oven to heat it up, no parmesan but cheddar...better to choose something else. Overall it didn't surprise us as we hoped from the reviews.

The kids menu was very limited to: fish, burger and pizza. I expected more asian varieties. The staff were kind, the ambiance is just ok. I found the restaurant in a list of kids friendly cafes, but other than the kids menu ai didn’t find it special for kids.

When I first arrived, I was seated right immediately and felt extremely welcomed. The meal was excellent, and Shubham was really attentive the entire time. I would especially suggest the beverage Wavebreaker.

The meal was excellent, particularly the warm fudge cake desert! Our meal at the restaurant was made much more pleasurable by the kind service of waiter Shubham.

The staff was very kind and welcoming. They took good care of us. The food did take some time to come but it was so good!!! We got the steak and fries with a salad, the salad was a lil disappointing but it was alright. For dessert we got the waffle, IT WAS AMAZING!!!! I could eat like 10 more Will definitely go back to try the chicken kebabs as they looked really good.

Went there for a quick meal with friends. Everything went great, but what I enjoyed the most was the service. We ordered vg stir fry (which was super good btw, I totally recommend it!!) Really disappointing and overpriced food. The pasta from the children's menu was soggy and tasteless and the adults food portions were extremely small for the price. Has the Korean BBQ which was bland, and the 'pickled' red cabbage had no pickled flavouring whatsoever. Ordered a coca-a-cola for £4.25 and was handed a can. We won't be back.

I don't know why this restaurant has such high reviews, the food is average, the avocado toast still looked and tasted okay, the pancakes with fruit for children were a disaster... the menu should include a pancake with jam and two strawberries to decorate.... The glasses are dirty, you can see sediment from the dishwasher on them, the same on the cutlery...

It is a convenient place to go, with decent views, food and tempting cocktails at reasonable prices for London. I often use it as the place for a quick catch-up or breakfast after work, sneaking a couple of cocktails in the process 😅.

Great place to dine with friends as the atmosphere is great and the food sizes are designed to share. In typical tradition, the service is extremely friendly and staff are knowledgeable in both the dishes and the drinks that best complement your meal and the waiter Akhil served food and drinks very quickly and enjoyed the flavours of every food.

A busy restaurant in central london, the staff is managing it really well. We were seated without delays and our food served quickly by the waiter Akhil. I liked that they brought it for everyone at once, so nobody had to wait and look at how others eat. The has to be one of the best places we have eaten in a very long time. The waiter Akhil is fantastic. The atmosphere was amazing and there were all types of customers young and old. The food was exquisite from the presentation to the flavorings and taste was exceptional. We could actually see the chefs from where we sat cook our food.
