Giraffe in Hounslow

Really loved the food. Ambiance was top-notch. A 10 outta 10 experience. The mint drink wasn't my favorite, though. Wish i tried the nachos. The food portion was also very satisfactory. Very thing was superb

Service was friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. The eggs benedict and avocado smash were excellent. Fresh ingredient, including a pomegranate garnish all professionally prepared. Even the pesto garnish was really good quality pesto. Would have happily paid more for what we had, excellent value.

It was great until they forced me out of the restaurant. I was enjoying my wine; didn’t order any food yet as I like to enjoy my wine before my meal and next moment they bring me the bill: I decided not to order any food and walked over to Gordon Ramsay instead.

Picked Girafffe as there was no que, now I know why. I became suspicious when they said they had no ale or spirits. When they brought the chicken burger 5 mins after ordering I was even more suspicious. Burger was P soupy reheated, chicken like cardboard. Avoid this place!

Great and prompt service in a relaxing environment. Massive credit to Elsa who was welcoming and took allergen issues in her stride with no problem which is quite uncommon!

After midday, while queuing we are told which dishes are no more available (more than half the menu). By the time we ordered the things we wanted were also out. So literally, the only thing I could have was on the children’s menu card. And guess what an adult is not allowed to order that 🤪 No napkins (neither on table nor at serving time). Kids burger slightly burned, tasted like rubber, but that was the least….

One of the best breakfast experiences we’ve had at an airport. The staff were friendly helpful polite and seemed genuinely happy at their work. This alone was welcoming to us tired travellers. After enjoying our well cooked breakfast we were certainly refreshed and ready for the next stage of our trip. Very well done👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Disappointed on some staff not following covid guidelines and the management not checking on their staff

Just had the BEST croissants, also brilliant bacon and eggs and delicious Yorkshire Tea, served quickly by a delightful waitress. Haven’t had such good croissants for ages!

So I really wanted to get a proper full, English breakfast but somehow the waitress talked me into an English Breakfast quesadilla? Smh... It still tasted fairly good but feel like I was missing out on something a lot better...

Located just after you compete security so no long walks. Good view of the busy airport floor below. Good choice of menu. Tried the classic burger and lemonade with mint. Burger was good, lemonade too sour to my taste.

Despite having passed through and eaten in T5. Dozens of times this year alone I somehow missed Giraffe but as my usual haunts were busy I went tonight - and as I then got delayed I’m glad I did - staff are SO nice and friendly ( Marta you were awesome to everyone and so nice you took time to chat ) - food is superb - great range and prices are really good ! My new favourite spot in T5. Super chilled atmosphere but food delivered in 10 mins for those rushing for a flight - and the Pomegranate Iced tea was very refreshing after a previous flight and travelling all day .
