Lovely attentive service ! Went on a Saturday afternoon. The staff were really friendly . There were new specials . We had starters of pork belly & crispy mushroom. Mains were butterfly prawn pad Thai , tofu & mushroom salad & beef curry . Restaurant was beautifully decorated with. Staff were helpful as well compared to other branches we have been too .

A fantastic Thursday night treat for me and my partner! Continuing with my New Year’s resolution of pescatarian, we had a fish themed dinner. Starters: Veggie spring rolls & one bite Salmon Mains: Garlic steamed noodles, coconut rice, prawn Penang x 2, Roti x 2 Everything was cooked to perfection and extremely delicious. The one bite salmon was genuinely the best starter I’ve ever had!!

EXCELLENT quality of food, service, friendliness, comfort, cleanliness/hygiene, atmosphere AND value for money! We go there at LEAST every couple of weeks on a Saturday night. We LOVE it there!!!

I feel mean saying this as the staff were so friendly but were let down by the food which is all made in a central hub, I believe this is to make the restaurant more sustainable. My food was so sweet that it was fairly inedible. This is a restaurant that doesn't even have a slimline tonic, there are so many diabetics in the world and it is so much in the news about how much sugar we consume. I didn't really enjoy my meal and I don't think we could visit again as my husband is type 1 diabetic and the menu is fairly unsuitable.. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary as we had held our reception in this building before Giggling Squid was born but we didn't even get a congrats! I didn't like that we had to give a review of the restaurant on a tablet. Maybe we chose the wrong things but I wouldn't go back. The food tasted very manufactured and do you use a lot of MSG?

Nice decor and the service was pleasant and not overbearing. My Pad Thai was disappointing. It had quite a lot of bland brown sauce coating the noodles. The chicken and tofu pieces were small in both number and in size and I do not recall seeing beansprouts (also no egg but this was not listed on the menu). Poor value for money given, Pad Thai's main ingredient are noodles. I guess something been lost in the fusion theme vibe.

Great authentic and super tasty Thai food. Two for one cocktails were fantastic. The only thing that lets it down is the service during busy hours. Even though the staff were attentive, pleasant and welcoming, they messed up our orders and had to wait for a while for the various courses, hence the rating. Overall satisfied and will go again!

My partner and I were visiting Wimbledon on Sunday 30th July. We went to Giggling Squid for Linch at 1.45pm & were seated in an area that had a large booking for 3pm. We both ordered & my partners meal came within 10-12 minutes. He waited for mine to arrive. After 5 mins of of waiting for mine I told him to start eating before it cold. I asked how long for my dish and the waitress said “let me go check” she didn’t come back. By now he’s half way through his lunch & mine still hasn’t arrived. It’s now 20 mins late. I asked again, I also pointed out that this was unexpected. She apologised and finally 30 mins later my food arrived but my partner had finished. The fish was ok, lacked flavour. The waitress suggested I can write a review about my experience, so here I am doing just that. The service at Giggling Squid Wimbledon was below average and unprofessional. Will not be going back there.

My first visit to the Giggling Squid in Wimbledon was disappointing. The place itself is nicely decorated and the staff were quite friendly. However, the food was poor in my opinion and not to my taste. The salt and pepper squid consisted of massive chunks of flavourless squid in thick, greasy, flavourless batter. The pad thai was oily, sweet and bland. The hake was dried out. The stir fry vegetables were mostly inedible - huge chunks of hard cabbage and uncooked green beans. We both enjoyed the spring rolls though! On the drinks front my margarita was so sweet I couldn’t drink it. It tasted like pure sugar - I couldn’t taste any lime or tequila. But the matcha and lady in pink cocktails looked beautiful and were delicious. So much going for this place, except the food, which lets it down.

This is our date place with my husband. Everything is just perfection. Gorgeous food, lovey staff. One of the best place in Wimbledon
