this is one of the best places I've ordered food, got the box meal for 1, and it does last me 2 days. The food always comes fresh and hot and the delivery team are a delight. I highly recommend this place you won't be disappointed :)

This was a bit of a disappointment. The chicken, in both the starter and the main, was well overcooked leaving it dry and tough. I've used them before and, until now, never had any complaints, quite the opposite. So I guess this was an aberration.

Top notch Indian food. I’ve had many different Indian takeaways but I must say this one was very different. I can’t stop going back!!!

The curry ordered was advertised as being hot but there was no heat whatsoever. It was made with too much cooking oil to the extent the food floating and the oil was overflowing.

First time order ... excellent food delivered early. We'll be back.

Sham venue, use as scam delivery takeaway. My private mobile and email used to qualify a delivery I know nothing about and live 100 miles away. No reply on phone or email….and it’s closed all the time. Reported to police. FYI the address being used is 12 First Way London.

After a long weekend at work the soup I had prepared was losing its appeal by day 3. A quick order to House of Spice before I left work was all I needed to do. My meal was delivered 20 minutes after I got home.

Food was very good but little expensive for portion sizes so ya will use again but probably look around for other more local options .

Bland cack, tasteless chicken in pre prepared sauce. Bread was awful, worst keema nan I have ever had. Dry meat in undercooked bread, not sure how they managed that. Very disappointing. Was delivered quickly but that is probably because very little cooking was needed.

Not impressed, food has no flavor. The prawn dish is the worst. Spending 30 quid I expected more and from the reviews

Whilst the food was delivered late, the main problem was the distinct lack of chicken in the dish. I counted three very small slithers, bulked out by sauce.

Deliciosa cocina india. Numerosos platos interesantes, llenos de sabor, servicio excalante. Tuvimos: Papra; Carbón tostado, cocido a fuego lento en una mezcla inusual de yogur fresco, semillas de comino con una variedad de especias Teva; Tikka en dados, lanzado sobre un hierro brillante hábil, cubierto con una salsa ligera de tomates frescos, pimientos verdes, cebollas de primavera, ajo triturado, jengibre de raíz y una selección de hierbas y especias de la frontera norte. Bhindi Amchoor Okra fresco cortado en tiras con una magnífica mezcla de especias y mango Champiñón Pulao Basmati Arroz cocido con champiñón. Ajo Naan relleno de ajo picado

Plus points, good portion sizes and delivery on time. But, my King Prawn Biriyani only generated one King Prawn and I had 3/4 of it. The Biriyani rice was just a brown coloured rice wirh no onion or biriyani flavour; certainly not the usual layered rice with lots of flavour I was expecting from the description. The veg curry was plentiful but watery and hardly any curry flavour. My partner had Balti. Didn't look or taste like any balti we had before. Again, watery. Naan bread was dry, not buttery and fluffy, and the peshawar bit was just some dried coconut flakes that must have bee. Shaken over a plain naan as most of the little there was, was just sitting in the bag. Disappointing. Won't be ordering there again. No point discussing. Shouldn't need to. Can't change a poor meal. I am very fed up with the lottery of getting a decent meal. Whatever happened to those flavoursome spicy curries we used to get consistently back in the 90s.

Very watery curries, both vindaloo + tikka masala I ordered were filled with water & oil to the brim. Even when mixing. Masala portion came short and filled just above half way on a big container. Very disappointed.

I am updating my previous review, as we had such inconsistent experiences with House of Spice that we stopped ordering. There was a huge difference from one week to the next in the quality of the food. On one occasion, there was a bit of debris (appeared to be from a can opener) in one of the dishes. The flavour of the favourite dansak was inconsistent from one order to the next as well. Very disappointing.

Been ordering from them for many years and still love our Friday night curry. Thank you
