German Doner Kebab - Cwmbran in Ceredigion - Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews

Tried again today at lunch time 1pm and Cwmbran restaurant locked. Opening hours on the door state open 11am. If you only open in the evenings please can you adjust the notice? Third visit now without success.

i was with my family to eating there but is not a german doner kebab this is bangladesh…pachistan kebab…staff not friendly…staff don’t have training to do good job…go to derby and eat much better and very good

Good food, reasonable price, quick service, good staff. Visited today and food was great, ample amount for what I paid. Staff were friendly polite and attentive.

Made a stop here before the cinema, the menu is good and you can add all different sides to create a meal. Even within the pre set combo boxes you get full choice, some items came with a 50p supplement. The place was clean and service was quick. If I had to give one negative it was that the music was a bit loud.

On arrival we were told that Beef was a 25 minute wait, we said "what about Chicken" and were told there was no delay, so we ordered chicken. We waited 45 minutes for our food. No updates were given on how long it would be and why the delay. We then found hairs in the food during our journey home, so ultimately binned it. Not a great experience

Been here a handful of times, each time waited almost an hour for my order which is unusual for fast food. I would say it's worth the wait if the food was half decent but this isn't the case. We were missing items on our order and our mains in general were poor. Can happily say we'll choose somewhere else to eat.

Tried a few times to eat here but always told 25/30 min wait eventually got un there this evening and so wish I hadn't orders going to customers that had been seen after myself when this was pointed out to the lad on the till they still continued to serve other tables and when we did eventually got our food it was semi warm and nowhere near as good as the menu made it out to be my only advice is of your in cwmbran and fancy a doner kebab avoid this place I must point out the lad on the tills did apologise a few times but after the wait and not very good food I was keen to leave and not return there. I've had had better hotter and quicker service from the local take away.

The absolute worst GDK in the franchise. We live in Newport and will now go to Cardiff as their service and customer experience is by far from another planet. Please don’t judge GDK on the Cwmbran store as this is an absolute one off in how not to do take away food.

Absolutely shocking. After ordering 2 small doner box meals on the screen, we did not receive our receipts. Then we waited almost an hour. The kitchen staff were so slow and looked like they didn’t have a clue what they were doing. Then when we finally got our food they forgot to put forks, napkins and my can of coke which was £1.80. Then when we opened up our box’s the meat was hard and cold and the chips were absolutely awful. Will definitely not be returning.

Great food and the staff were amazing. We had the Berlin Strasse & the donner panini! We defo preferred the Berlin Strasse but they were both lovely!!! Want to give a massive thanks to the manager Jamie who was super accommodating and gave us superb customer service. What a credit and representative to German Doner Kebab. Excellent!!

Gave this restaurant a try as I had heard good things about the Doner box. Must say they earned themselves a regular! Fast service, good value and great portions!

Ordered for home delivery Sunday 30th Jan 22, Before paying over £40 the delivery time stated 30 to 45 minutes delivery time, once I had payed, the restaurant changed the delivery time . Ordered food at 14.00, rang the restaurant after and hour, we was told the delivery driver was there to collect our food, it arrived at 16.25 . Place is run by kids who have no care for deliveries, they are only interested in the walk in trade. That's the last food we have from this place. One star rating is to much. Food was cold,the chips are a joke, we had about 14 chips each. Value for money definitely not
